Hello everyone my name is Jessey and this is the first baby for my husband and I. We are so excited. Now that I have finally overcome the morningsickness and become immune to the lack of sleep the days are beginning to fly by. Finally I am starting to show and I am loving it. December 11th is when I go back to the doctor to find out whether I am having a little princess or a little man.

There could be a reason you're not dilating...Are you keeping in touch with your Dr.? Also, make sure you're not dehydrated, that can cause cramps that don't do much.
I feel for you! Hope something changes soon!

I went in for false labor with my first- basically, they were regular contractions for a few hours, and I really didn't know what the serious labor pains felt like, and that they would send me home if I wasn't dilated enough. Then when I was really having labor (early stages), I hung out at my mom's all day, went to taco bell for a taco salad, then we finally went in...they said I needed to walk around to get more dilated or they would send me home again. Walked around for an hour, not much change, then for another hour, finally a little bit more dilation, then things really got moving, and I dilated faster than they were used to seeing...I felt like I had to push, but wasn't quite open enough...turns out it was that tough bag of waters pushing on me- when the nurse checked me, she popped it on accident. I felt so much better! But only for about ten minutes...then I had to push again, and I was fully dilated! Poor baby had a cone head because the end of labor went so fast!

Okay, just read your update that it has petered out...That happened to me last Fri into Sat morning...hours of contractions with nausea, then they went away...I was so sore and tired (from no sleep) for the rest of the day. Now I'm just waiting again... With real contractions, you can't walk through them, they are too painful...
Why would the hospital want to push a c-section for you?

Thank you for your comment - I just got back from the doctor. My blood pressure is slightly elivated - but not too bad. No protein in my urine. There's no real explanation as to why I keep seeing spots - he told me to stay off of my feet and we'll keep our eye on it... The baby's head and shoulders are engaged so that explains the hip and pelvic pressure... as well as the baby's slowing of movement. Doc says she can only move her legs now so it's normal to not feel her move much. We officially scheduled induction for May 13th with the hospital. I go in at 5PM on May 12th to be admitted... Not much longer now!

thanks for the advice! i will start timing them (the contractionmaster.com is amazing!), they don't hurt at all so that's why i was thinking they might be BH, i have my appt tomorrow and will discuss this w/my doctor also, it's kind of hard to identify when they start and when they end...hubby is taking me for a walk everyday, he wants this baby out so bad...lol... take care!

I just saw your post about baby's movement slowing down...my mom has been telling me the same thing for weeks! She keeps saying "When the baby stops moving as ofter she is just around the corner". Humm...I have n o idea if its true though. Good Luck!

WALK WALK WALK!!!! and have lots of sex!!!!! i know alot of people will prob tell you the same thing but it works i went for a 3.3mile walk then had sex like woa with my bf on her due date and she was born the fallowing day. good luck.

Unfortunately it won't happen til it happens. I've just had my fourth and this last time I was dilated to 3 for weeks, and "ready to go" as my ob/gyn said and still I had to be induced. Take these two weeks and lay on your @$$-- you'll wish you did when baby comes. Good Luck and Congrats in advance!

HAHA anytime... I swear though.. a lot of women around the time when I was due were basically getting in on to induce labour. Just have fun with it too b/c truss me it is a long while before you get to do that again!!!!

Nipple stimulation make your uterus contract it put me in labor Just thought I would tell you that I just had my baby 4 days ago she was due on the 18th so try pumping that works to good luck......
