Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi...Joseph is so cute. He is a fighter and very blessed. Don't worry. I will pray for him to have a healthy life and soon he can join you at home. Don't go hard on you. You are the best mother. Take care of yourself and god bless your little angel.

Hi there, just read your story about your son Joseph. He'll be fine sweetie they are so resilient! i think their hospital stay is worse on the mother than on them. I am a mother to a lil guy born at 33 weeks. he is rocking the house doing great! I believe your wee one will be great too! It's hard I know I've been there but be proud of him and his accomplishments HE IS A FIGHTER! Congrats! much love, margo

I just read your story on the premie page. I'm sorry your baby was born early but congrats on this new angel. I'm from Richland. I now live in Redmond WA but just wanted to pop on and say hi. How's is your baby doing by the way? My best friend's baby was born at 29weeks. It was really scary but he is now 16months and a healthy little boy. Good Luck! I'm sure he is getting stronger with every day. Lots of hugs!

Joseph looks so sweet. I hope he's getting stronger every day. Thanks for sharing your story.

Just wanted to touch base with you again. I hope all is going well. I went into labor at 27wks and just got home from the hospital. we don't know how long they can hold labor off but we are trying.

bluspirit - Tuesday, 22 July
Arionna was born at 27wks and stayed in the hospital for 8 wks. What you said it correct. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I say that all the time. As the weeks go by you may find out that he may need to come home on oxygen, heart apnea monitor ect. Don't panic like I did. It turned out the oxygen really its that big of a deal she was on it for the entire 1st yr. The moniter turned out to be a big help! You can sleep without worrying because if he needs you or has an apnea spell the machine will beep and trust me you can't sleep through it because it almost wakes your neighbors. This is where you have to believe in yourself, no matter what machines he comes home on (my daughter had a few more) you can handle it and he will be o.k. My daughter was re hospitalized a few times for a few days here and there in the 1st 6 months but we made it. We didn't have her around alot of people for the 1st few yrs. We kept her away from other children except our son. We didn't let anyone in our house during the flu season unless they had a flu shot. I didn't take her many places but it was so worth it to keep her healthy and moving in the right direction for the 1st few yrs. I had a sign on my door that said Arionna is home from the hospital please do not enter if you don't have a current flu shot. it is for her saftey. I never felt bad when I didn't go to family gatherings because I was protecting her. Today her Dr.'s look at her and say if we didn't know better we wouldn't think she was a preemie. When she was born we went out and bought a very small pooh bear stuffed animal then we had an infant bracelet ingraved with her name and attached it to the bear and the put it in with her. When she was in the hospital I had gotten sick and for an entire week I couldn't go in and see her. That was hard, so take care of yourself and keep up your strengh. Sorry I'm getting long on you again. I hope today is a good day for you!

Don't be so hard on yourself. I don't think I told you in the past but my last pregnancy my cerclage was place at 21 wks and I was placed on STRICT bedrest I did everything they said and just like you my cervic didn't hold my placenta pulled away and I started internal bleeding. They tipped me head down and gave me every shot and med they could but it didn't work. I delivered within 2 hrs. I was 27 wks. I had an emergency c-section as well. I was a mess to say the least. It was a long road but I have been right where you are and I now wouldn't change anything I have been through for the world. My daughter has taught me so much about life things I never knew until she was several years old. I am a better person because of what I went through. Even after she came home for the first time she was on several machines and had several more short hospital stays. My biggest upset is that I had nobody to talk to that really understood. So first and for most I am here for you. The nurses in the NICU are like 2nd mommies they are so wonderful and I couldn't have made it through if I didn't think they gave my little girl love and attention when I couldn't be with her. Please feel free to leave a private message on my page if you'd like. I would be more then happy to keep in contact with you. If you would like I can leave a private message on your page with my personal e-mail as well. You all are in my prayers. The most wonderful thing of all is I know you will be fine because everytime I thought I couldn't take any more I always found more strength inside me to use. I would be very happy to be part of your support system if you wish. Best wishes to you and I hope to hear from you soon. Hugs and Kisses to your little one. :)

I had a cerclage placed at 19 weeks, made it to week 25.5. My cervix couldn`t hold him anymore. My placenta was pulling away from my uterus. They tried everything to stop the labor, pills, shots, IV`s - nothing worked. As soon as I started bleeding, emergency C-section was on. When I went into labor on Monday morning at 1:30 am, I went to my local emergency room, apparently the hospitals in my area will not deliver a premature baby under 28 weeks, so they had to air lift me to Spokane, WA - Sacred Heart Medical Center, which specializes in premie births. He is here now, doing very well in the NICU. I on the other hand am a complete mess. I feel so sad that I am not with him, that he has to spend the next 2-3 months in an incubator when he should be in my belly still. I feel like I have completely let him down. Anyway, enough self pity, all will be well as long as Joseph is well, which he is and I am extremely grateful for all the hard work people are putting forth to make sure of that. Please keep my baby Joseph in your prayers, and I pray this will not happen to any of you, as it is miserable. TY - XOXOXO

bluspirit - Saturday, 12 July
I have a cerclage. This is my 2nd pregnancy with one in. I am not on bedrest either and I don't have restrictions yet. As long as my cervix stays closed and if I have contractions I sit down or slow down they aren't putting me on bedrest. Fell free to write to me anytime. :)

OMG... I FOUND IT!! and IT WORKS :D I noticed the fiber content is like 30 something %

Thanks for sharing the "goodness"

JsMomAndOneMoreComing - Sunday, 6 July
Hey, is that poop juice youre talking about sold in the produce area, COLD?? I think I remember seeing the name "bottlehouse farms" there... ?

JsMomAndOneMoreComing - Friday, 4 July
Yea, that is what my girl friend had also, and she and baby ended up FINE :D GOOD LUCK, and try not to worry. You most likely wont go into labor early. I am betting everything will be PERFECT!! At least, now we are far enough that the baby will survive outside the womb anyway, if something like that did happen :D This process of life is a TRUE MIRACLE!! TAKE CARE xx

JsMomAndOneMoreComing - Saturday, 28 June
Hello and welcome to the site :D What is a "cerglage" ? Is that where they do surgery to your cervix? My friend had something like it and everything was fine. I just hope you dont worry too much. The baby is most likely doing FINE. I think the pregnancy is usually harder on US than the baby. I have been SUPER SICK, hospitalized 3 times and docs dont want me to worry. The baby can usually take everything we dont give it from our body... It REALLY is a miracle :D
