Hello Everyone!

This is my first baby and I am so EXCITED! I found out that I was pregnant on Good Friday- 3/21. I am still shocked! I think it wil finally set in once I go to my first doctor's appointment on 4/3. I am overjoyed about the thought of being a mother. I joined this site to meet some new friends that was going through the same thing as me- pregnancy. :-) I have so many questions and I hope that we can learn from eachother.

FYI- I was first listed as Tickled Pink but for some reason I can not get logged into my old page so I had to create a new one.

Okay so I had my 2nd appointment on 5/1 and everything went okay. I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat with the doppler so that was exciting. I found out that I gained 3 pounds...... lucky me. All of my test came back great- sugar diabetes, as well as my urinalysis. The one thing that really mad was when I found out that I won't get another u/s until I am 18 weeks. Of course to me that seems liked forever away. For the past 3 weeks I have been couting down the days to my 5/7 appointment. I read on the website that women usually get a u/s when they go for their 1st trimester screening. So now that this appointment is next week, I found out that I would not be having an u/s that day. So sad! I guess I should stop worrying about the petty things and just be grateful that my baby is doing fine and that I have 6 weeks to wait to see him or her. I was told by some of my friends that some women have to wait about 20-22 weeks. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Well it is a little after 7 and I am so hungry....... I want pancakes.

I went for my 1st trimester screening and it was the longest appointment EVER. I was happy to see my baby. I did not think that I was going to get an ultrasound. To my surprise...... I DID. My u/s lasted for 1.5 hours. I was told because the baby was so stubborn it must be a girl. I can't wait to confirm this. Apparently they needed the baby to lay in a certain position to be able to get a good shot of the baby. They called my little one the "Vertical Baby" because it was straight up and down. I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby. I guess that will be mid June. I go for my next follow up appointment 5/29. I can't wait to hit my 2nd trimester Monday.

So I am finally in my 2nd trimester. Yiiiippppeeee! I am so excited and I feel so great. I haven't had any morning sickness lastely. My tastebuds are coming back and I am starting to get more energy. I hope you all are doing well.

Hello everyone!

I went to he doctor's on 5/29. Everything is going great. I heard the baby's heartbeat and it was 150 hb so that is really good. My doctor said that my blood pressure was exceptional so I am really excited about this. My next appointment is 6/12 and this is when I will find out the sex of the baby. I am super excited about this. I hope the baby cooperates and does not want to cross their legs or anything. I am dying to know if it is a boy or girl. I really want to focus on names for one particular sex. Right about now i have so many name options it is ridiculous. Well I hope everyone is doing well. I will keep you updated.

Hello All! So I went to the doctor's today and we found out that we are going to have a little girl. I am SUPER EXCITED! I really did not have a preference so I would have been happy either way. Our little girl's name will be Tamia. Our little one was something else. She was sucking her thumb and sitting indian style. Cute? Not to us since we were dying to know if she was a boy or girl. Tamia's heartbeat was 152 hb and she measured to be about 7 ozs. The tech was so nice to us, she gave us 7 picures of Tamia. Mostly all of the pictures was of her sucking her thumb. We were able to get one close up of her face. I can't wait to meet her.
