My profile

Well I wish I would have started this sooner, but with everything that has gone on with this pregnancy I really haven't had the time. For starters, I'm 37 weeks pregnant with our little boy who will be named Caleb Andrew Murphy. My husband is a Marine and we're currently stationed in 29 Palms, California. I currently work for the local Sheriff's Department, but I've been on maternity leave since 08/21/2008 due to my blood pressure. Since being on maternity leave my blood pressure has since lowered and I'm feeling TONS better. I'm "supposed" to be due on 10/20/2008, but I found out last week that Caleb is breech and has no plans on turning on his own... I go in today, (09/30/2008) to find out where we go from here...

Well I just got back from my appointment and would you believe he's head down! I'm honestly shocked because I've heard that when babies flip at 37 weeks its REALLY uncomfortable and yet, I didn't feel a thing. From here on out my doc has decided to do weekly ultrasounds to make sure he stays head down (he likes to flip breech pretty frequently) If he stays head down, I will be induced during my 39th week so that my husband will have an opportunity to be at the birth since he has an "Op" during the last 2 weeks of October...

I just wish our little one would make up his mind! If this is a preview of his personality it looks like I'm in BIG trouble.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Doc told me that they would do the version in the 39th week while i was hooked to a monitor & had an epidural. Then IF it was successful they would induce me immediately. If not successful, do C section right then. I told her no thank you. I heard it was very painful & if they are just going to do a section anyway, I'd rather them just do it. I am so hoping that she turns on her own. I am going to keep trying the home techniques & also continue w/ chiropractor. I hope yours turns for you as well. :) have a great weekend!
