Baby was born preterm.. thanks to preeclampsia.. i'm just grateful he's ok.. he's small, but lovely.. and we're already enjoying him at home.. he eats like a little piglet, loves cuddles and sounds like a squeeky toy.. that's all i know about his preferences and hobbies so far..

Weighed in at 2.5kg's or 5lbs 8oz.

The birth was obviously a surprise, we weren't quite 36weeks yet... when my waters broke, i drove myself to the hospital, having contractions, kind of in shock. Was induced to speed things up the next day, and that part of the labour lasted just under 5 hours.. i would like to say, THANK GOD FOR EPIDURALS.. he was only small, so i don't know how women with big babies do it... incredible.

he's spent a few days in the special care nursery until he was cleared by the docs and his dad and i are so relieved we walked in the door and just collapsed.. i refuse to stop holding him at the moment, i have to keep him with me as a reminder of what's happened, it's all been so quick.

hi hun glad to hear from you after some time, thanks we are fine and busy as hell. how are you all? hope great! well thats an old pic of roman, he has newer ones on the last two pages of my photos, he is huge, crawling like roadrunner all over the house floors. lol and helping himself up holding to a table or my leg.
schools out so iam busy as hell with the boys and a baby. but i soo love it, they are so worth all the aches and sores. keep well and posted on the baby number two project, goodluck and have fun lol.

AHHH that's good to hear, I was getting a little worried. How's the little monkey going?? Getting much sleep yet?? Ally's done a turn around, and now I get hardly any sleep!!! Hope that changes very soon!!

You had a pregnancy scare I see!!! hehehehehe, when you planning on having another??? No time soon I gather, hehehehe.

Hey, yeah she's very alert. We had our health center app last week and the nurse there said she's about 2 weeks ahead! She's just started cooing it's so cute! How are you enjoying motherhood? I love it!! Oh and guess what during the night she can go 5-6 hours between feeds, what a bonus hey!! I think it's because she has a bottle so she gets very full, I would love to breastfeed though but she doesn't want to latch on so it's expressing and formula for her.

Yep it happened!! Alice-Ann was born on the 7th of jan weighing 7lbs 12oz. She's so completely amazing! labor was very quick and intense! 6 hours, should have been 3-4 but doc didn't pick up that she was in the wrong position, vacume was needed and I ended up in theater with a severe 3rd degree tear!! Ouch!! stayed in hospital a little longer, still having problems with her latching on but I will keep persisting, she has formula for now. I will post pics a bit later. How's thing with you and the Herbstar?

You were right, I had my baby. Isn't it amazing to finally have our babies- it felt like a fantasy finally come true. Glad to be home. I will post pics later apparently my camera broke the computer...?

Yep still nothing!! But I did loose my plug today so I guess at this stage that's a positive thing. I am so ready, she's obviously not, stubborn child, I have to admit that she does take after me, lol.

Yep it is the countdown, I found out today that I'm 2-3cm dilated so there's a plus, I will be induced on the 10th if bub continues to be stubborn! But I feel like she will come before that. How's everything going with you and your little bub? How's the sleep? or is that a stupid question, lol.
