We have a girl!!!!!!!

Emilie Faith born November 7, 2007

What a day for a day dream..................................

The view from Emilie's room...............

Where Emilie will learn how to swim...

Fun Birthday Facts
  • Our baby's birthstone will be Yellow Topaz (Fidelity)
  • Our baby's Astrological Sign will be Scorpio
  • Our baby's Flower is Chrysanthemum or Chrysanthemum (Dark Blue, Red and Yellow)
  • Our baby will be born in the Chinese Year of The Pig
  • Our baby will start kindergarten in 2013, be old enough to drive a car in 2023, finish high school in 2026, and will graduate from college with the class of 2030, give or take a year. Can you imagine?

When a Scorpio baby enters the world, all eyes will focus on them. And that's exactly how it will be for a long time to come, as this baby must be the center of attention! To that end, this is quite the manipulative little tot, sucking up energy from everyone around. The Scorpio baby is also a bit mysterious, making it hard to figure out what's wrong when the crying starts. So often, it's something which is seething below the surface and will be very hard to draw out of this child. You must also consider power struggles when thinking of this child, as the Scorpio baby will expect that Mom, Dad, and everyone else will fit into their schedule and plans. Make no mistake, this is a powerful child! The flip side of this is that this baby is quite clear on what they want and can get that message across. One important note: Scorpio babes loathe lounging in dirty diapers, so change them often! Many times, this can be the simple source of their discomfort, although the malady may not always be so clear. For that reason, the Scorpio baby should be watched closely. Someone will generally be watching this child, though, as the Scorpio tot enjoys a crowd, especially one where it can lead. To sum up, the Scorpio baby is clever, wants things on their own terms, and will know how to get it. Watch out!

Contrary to its rather negative reputation in the West, the Pig of Chinese Astrology may be the most generous and honorable Sign of the Zodiac. Pigs are nice to a fault and possess impeccable manners and taste. They have so much of the perfectionist in them that others may be inclined to perceive them as snobs, but this is a misconception. Pigs are simply possessed of a truly luxurious nature, one that delights in finery and riches (in surroundings, food, lovemaking and otherwise). This Sign believes in the best qualities of mankind and certainly doesn't consider itself to be superior. Pigs also care a great deal about friends and family and work hard to keep everyone in their life happy. Helping others is a true pleasure for the Pig, who feels best when everyone else is smiling.

A Pig with no one around to appreciate its giving nature is a sad sight. Pigs are so magnanimous they can appear almost saintly; this can lead some less-than-well-intentioned souls to stomp all over this Sign, and the bad news is, the Pig will take the blows! Pigs make great companions in part because of their refusal to see the more negative or base qualities in a partner, but that rose-colored view can lead to this Sign's allowing itself to be taken advantage of. Contrary to their seemingly benign dispositions, however, Pigs can be quite venomous in response to being crossed by a lover, friend or business partner.

Pigs are highly intelligent creatures, forever studying, playing and probing in their quest for greater knowledge. They can be misinterpreted as being lazy, however, due to their love of reveling in the good stuff; this Sign could happily spend hours on end making love, napping, taking a long bubble bath or dallying over an incredible spread of rich foods. Pigs tend to make wonderful life partners due to their hearts of gold and their love of family. Even so, Pigs can be rather exclusive, choosing to spend time with those who will appreciate them most and ignore the rest of the populace. Pigs would do well to realize that there's more to life than being needed. When they open up their world to a diverse group of people, they will truly bloom.

It's Sunday 10/28/07 around 7pm and I am just finishing my last day at work for awhile. I do not have internet at home so I may not be able to tell you all when I deliver. I lost the mucas plug last Friday so I am hoping any day now. Take care and good luck to all.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

PRETTIEST MOM
Once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms.
If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty!
So hit 15 pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are
pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom.'

ya, he'll come when he comes! in the mean time i'm at work today.....haven't been here since last mon. morning so wish me luck on holding out. the procardia drug seems to work most of the time. the only time i feel really strong contractions is when i'm up and about.... hope you have a great day and that you are feeling well!

pammy - Friday, 21 Sep
i hope all is well with you. i'm doing fine now. now i'm just hoping he will stay in there as long as he needs to for his lungs to be good. i guess i need to get that crib put together!!!!LOL

pammy - Wednesday, 19 Sep
Well I knew I was just being spoiled....I spent all day on Mon. in the hospital with contractions that were 3 to 5 min. apart. They had to give me three doses of meds. to get them under control. My cervix did not react in any way to the contractions. Thank God! I am now home and am on Procardia every 6 hours. The contractions have almost stopped completely. I still have a few but without discomfort. They did a full ultrasound to evaluate the baby's condition just in case they couldn't slow it down. He looks amazing. He's already 4lbs.2oz.and I got teased alot about how long his legs are and how tall they think he's going to be.(the doner is between 6'1' and 6'2') I'm not on bed rest, but they don't want me going back to work untill Mon.(I know, poor me!) and even then they want me to stay off my feet. We are doing good and hopefully no more surprises!!!!!

NikkiN - Monday, 10 Sep

Good to hear you don't have to have another amnio. We had a great weekend. We went to Ny for our nephews wedding. We also got to spend some time in China town. Now my body is soooo tired from all the activity. How was your weekend? How are you feeling?

pammy - Friday, 24 Aug
Good to hear that your baby girl is getting big....how soon would they have to deliver her if the test results came back that they would need to? I saw an episode of Special Delivery the other day where they delivered a little boy at 27 weeks and he's doing great they said. And girls tend to be stronger than boys. Please give me an update.....we are praying for you and sending positive energy!!!!

hey congrats on your baby girl, we are having a girl too, wow can i swap the view from your daughters room for the view from my room, we were married in the Bahamas and you are so lucky to be in the caribbean, hope you are well xx

pammy - Monday, 13 Aug
I hope the test come back with the best of news. Sorry you're having problems. How are you feeling otherwise?

Phrankeh - Monday, 13 Aug
HAHA! i know what you mean about having to go back somewhere and fix it all. Im just on light duty at home, but if the need arises i'll be able to go on bed rest without hassle. I'm paranoid what my home is going to look like after i have this baby. Between my husband and my brother (who lives with me)and my two children, i don't think that my home will stay as immaculate as i like to have it. because of the c-section im not allowed to do any of that stuff for atleast two weeks. And i am going insane at home. i'd much rather be working. lol

Phrankeh - Saturday, 11 Aug
I wish i was still working, as soon as i found out i was pregnant, my doctor wanted me off of work. Too much risk i guess, so i've been home for almost all of this pregnancy. I'm SOOOOO bored.

Phrankeh - Saturday, 11 Aug
Wow, i hope that everything goes alright. I'd be a nervous wreck. With my 2nd baby, i had serious kidney issues after she was born. With this one they have been watching me like a hawk. And i was told to expect to have to stay in the hospital a couple extra days just in case. Best of luck with the tests!

Phrankeh - Saturday, 11 Aug
Hubby is having bloodtests done? Whats up? Mine threw out his back and is being a whiney baby. Just when i wanted to start being whiney, lol. How are you feeling these days? Are you starting to feel like you need something beeping when you walk backwards , cuz i am :(
