Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I would call the hospital and tell them about your situation, that you moved and that the general doctor told you not to bother with an OB/GYN. Then tell them how far along you are and ask them what they think you should do. That would be the best option, because they might want you to come in and get a few tests done or at least they would want to know your situation now, more than later. It will save you a lot of headache's. Take care

I would call that doc back and ask him what you want him to do--since it is this late into you pregnancy i dont see a obgyn just picking up your case and inducing you--but i guess it could happen. the docs that i know around here wont do that ( i work at the hospital)-- Or you can call the hospital that you plan on delivering at and ask them what you should do or how they handle this. But when you call you need to call straight up to the L&D floor, dont just talk to anyone about it.--departments mind there own business and dont really know anything unless it is there floor and there job. Well good luck. We have the same due date and i think that i am in the same boat as you!! I dont htink that she is EVER coming out!! good luck!

hei thanks! thats a good idea about the welcome home party. I'll talk to my husband about it. It just sucks that his mom mentions it and nothing is going on. I've been here in simi for about 2 years now and I only have 2 friends out here. its hard to make good friends. but thanks again and I think my husband is actually going to like it. Good luck with your pregnancy!!!!!!

I had my shower back in December (23 weeks) as that was when my hbby and I were visiting for the holidays. We live 3000miles away from all our friends and family, and that was the only time we would be in town, so it was held a bit earlier than usual. There were about 75 adults and 25 kids, so it was a big gathering! My mom and mil threw it together, and rented the community clubhouse where they live and it was pretty casual. I'm Greek and my hubby is Italian, so even only inviting the close female family and friends, still was about 100. (Thats really small compaired to our wedding last May with 750!)

My sister is planning my shower and right now we have about 15 confirmed.. waiting to hear from another 10 or so... hopefully we will have enough room for everyone... I am having a 'surprise' shower at work... which will probably be another 20+ people... Good luck with your shower.... I am sure it will all work out.. .don't let it stress you out... Enjoy it!

Hei, congrats. well, I dont think I will be having a babyshower. One minute my mother-in-law says shes going to throw one for me and the next she acts like she doesnt know anything. My family is in TN and Im with my husband's family. So its alittle depressing but I'm feeling alot better now and my hubby says he's going to throw one for me. Kinda weird but thats so nice of him though.
