Hey-Glad you are feeling better...For us girls with fibroids, please check out mati's page. She went through quite a bit with her pregnancy and fibroids and delivered on 6/11. It is such a beautiful story and a testimony of God's grace.

I'm telling you that was almost identical to what happened to me and then after the prune juice kicked in and I was able to go, lol...I was fine! Keep me posted on how you are feeling!

Hi Hun,

Please do not stress yourself about this too much. If you read my post from April 2nd you will see that I had similiar pain in both my back and lower cramping that only by the grace of God did I get through. They prescribed Tylenol with codeine for me as well and fortunately it did work and after a few days it was gone and I have not had it since. The major issue was they could not figure out what caused it. I know I was really constipated which effects the fibroid pain as well, from straining and I was borderline dehydrated. Also they did think the fibroids were shrinking, which it turned out that they were not and have not grown either during this pregnancy. All of which played into the pain. I drank prune juice for the constipation, tons of water for the dehydrattion and took the tylenol and prayed that God would keep my baby and me safe. I'm sure it all seems almost too much to bare, but take it from me, I live by the motto..And this too shall pass. It may seem hard but you are strong, take your meds and get better for you and your baby. My husband had to convince me that the doc would not prescribe anything that would harm the baby as I did not want to take drugs during pregnanacy as well, but the pain was too much and I finally did and felt so much better. The day to day life stuff is another story...it sounds like you have had a rough couple of weeks, take it easy girl and put it all in God's hands since we have no control over it anyway. Please keep me posted on your progress and I know you and baby will be fine!

Hey there PeachyMom!

Yes, I am 40 soon to be 41 (July 7th). This has been a really good pregnancy for me. My preggers story....I have only had one bout of cramping associated with the fibroids and no bleeding. They grew in the first trimester and made it hard to see the baby on u/s but caused no pain. Then in the second trimester, I had braxton hicks and lower back pain and cramping which were due in part to the fibroids but the other thing was that I had not been drinking enough water and became constipated (sorry about TMI :) Now in the 3rd trimester, I am 30 weeks and I look like 36 weeks because I measure so much bigger due to the fibroids. They have grown but are not in his way and have not inhibited his growth, thank God! I will have a scheduled C-Section on July 25th which I'm happy about as I don't want to chance natural labor with the fibroids. Other than that, I'm feeling good and cannot complain at all. Please keep me posted on your progress as we fabulous 40 year olds have got to stick together! Talk to you soon!
