It's actually really annoying, my doc wants me to gain weight...but I can't eat very much...so I'm not gaining ANY weight. argg...I think we should be in the 5-10 lb gain, I'm sitting at a -1. haha Normally I would be sooooo happy, but not really the time to worry about gaining. My sickness comes and goes, and I have heartburn most of the time, probably due to the fact that I'm always so full. lol Can't wait for this to be over. I glad that your doing well, eating a lot is a good thing. =)

Hi there! So you’re having a boy! That’s so exciting to know already…how do they confirm it? I went for that US with my friend who does ultrasounds on a daily basis though to do more with bones and muscles, so pregnancies are not her specialty. It was pretty funny, we were looking and looking for a good while for a little coffee bean shape or a little something poking out, and cause we didn’t see anything poking out then that’s why we’re thinking it’s a girl, though I have my official US programmed for the last week of May and that’s when we’ll be told the sex (I hope). I’ve been really lucky with being pregnant, so far so good, I’ve got some more energy lately too which is useful! Before I was taking a nap in the afternoon but now I feel OK without it. How are you getting along with it?

agechic - Tuesday, 15 April
Thanks so much for your kind message. It's nice to know there are other first timers that are nervous about this too. Your right I do need to just enjoy now and not think about the yucky part lol... And I know the end result will be so worth it!!

Things are going great! I go to the dr. next week; but it will be 4 weeks after that until we can findout the sex of the baby. Do you know yours yet? I know some pregnant women have to get an ultra sound done due to compications; and they just happen to see if they can tell what the baby is. I want to know soooo bad!!
I went online and did a little research about the bumps, here is what I found:

"PUPPP (Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy)

This is the most common skin condition in pregnancy and essentially the name refers to red, raised itchy bumps which appear on the abdomen and thighs. It usually occurs late in pregnancy, but causes no harm to mother or baby. Topical steroid cream will help to reduce the inflammation and itch."

There we have it,I guess it's no big deal, but I would talk to your doc before using any cream.

I am dying to know.I have a feeling it is a boy- but that changes some days...I don't know if I have the "instinct"? Anyhow, congrats again- cute pics of the baby and you look great by the way! :)

I have a twin sister and she bought a monitor like the one you are talking about and she could hear the baby around 20 weeks. She bought me one when we found out we were pregnant. I have been using it a lot but have only heard the heartbeat 1x so far YET it does state that it is hard to detect anything until after 20 weeks. My sister loved it!
I will def. post pics of our little boy after a few weeks! I love going to those visits... it i the hylight of my week! I already feel so in-love with the little booger! haha
Are you on myspace by any chance?
So where are you from?
Have a great day and chat with you soon!!

beansmommy - Monday, 14 April
Hey, everything is going great! Today we got to hear our lil beans heartbeat on the doppler (so we didn't need to have an u/s). It was soo cute and he/she even kick me a few times which was adorable. We have a scheduled u/s for May 12th, which I hope we can find out if its a boy or a girl, so I can start shopping haha.
Hows things with you? TTYS
-Robin

That is an adorable name! I'm hoping for a boy. Everyone is saying it's going to be a boy but I know just from that that it will be a girl. Either way I will be so blessed. Congrats on the good news!!

mollymom - Monday, 14 April
I feel slight movements now and then but nothing consistent. I have an anterior placenta (urghhh) so it will take longer for me to feel movements..

melmelwel32 - Monday, 14 April
 YOU LOOK GREAT!!!

melmelwel32 - Monday, 14 April
Our next appt is next Thursday and we will then have another ultrasound set up for the 18-20 week scan. I am so excited to see my baby again- lol.

mummatobe - Monday, 14 April
Cograts! I can't believe that you found out so early!!.. I was dying to know and had to wait until 19 weeks ! I really ike the name you have chosen.. I'm having trouble at the moment. My BF liks Craidon and I love Kaiden (along with most of the people who answered the poll i did!) Now he is going on about Dario which i absolutely hate!!! Anyway I'm glad you magaged to agree on a name - its stressful when you can't!!

hotmama2008 - Monday, 14 April

BabyGonzales - Monday, 14 April
I'll let you know. Take care and have a great day.

BabyGonzales - Monday, 14 April
Well the last time I had my u/s we saw something that looked like boy parts but the doc said it could also be the cord. I was only 12wks 6days at that time and he said its still too early to be sure. So I find out at around 21wks. I think it is a boy though.

BabyGonzales - Monday, 14 April
Congrats on your baby boy!

melmelwel32 - Sunday, 13 April
Oh darn! I was hoping you had posted some pics of your precious boy! I am so excited for you! Congrats!! I am excited to be a mom to a boy! Infact, we went and bought the bedding today. They put the pattern we liked on Clearance so we saved 50% on everything and saved $200!! I was not expecting to go and buy it so soon but when I saw it on clearance I knew I had better get it! I actually was hoping for a girl... But I think a little boy is going to be so much fun. What names are you thinking?
