Tuesday, 8 Jan Thanks i saw the picture online and had to get it done! beckym -
Thursday, 3 Jan yeah, all of our income tax money is going to bills, fun. :( beckym -
Thursday, 3 Jan That is a good amount of time. I wish we lived in Canada or the UK, from what I hear on this website, they get a year of job security and about 9+ months paid time off. That would be amazing. beckym -
Thursday, 3 Jan They will allow me 12 weeks unpaid time off, unless the pregnancy isn't normal, in which case that is extended, like a co-worker of mine gave birth to a son and the son has a heart defect, and had to get surgery, now he has to be closely monitored, so no daycare will watch him, she can't return to work, so they said that she can come back whenever she can and her job will be there. But yeah, I qualify for FMLA but that is only for unpaid time, I only get 6 1/2 days paid, which bites. What is your work doing for you? beckym -
Thursday, 3 Jan This is going pretty fast, I am already to page 200, and there are a lot less pages in this one than in order of the phoenix. beckym -
Wednesday, 2 Jan Yeah, the other movies were definitely better, if he hadn't have purchased that I wouldn't have watched it again. I own all of the other DVDs though, hehe. Sometimes I can get Johnny into reading the books, he read sorcerer's stone, and will read parts with me, but he is way behind. div77 -

Wednesday, 2 Jan oh, lol, Johnny bought order of the phoenix the dvd right when I was at the end of reading it, as a joke because of how much I hate the pink lady. I told him I felt entrapped by her in the theatre when she was on the big screen with all of her pink toadness! Now that I read the book, watching that, I kept pausing it to tell him where it veered from the book, hahaha, it was entertaining. beckym -
Wednesday, 2 Jan I will definitely let you know when I am done reading this one, I love talking about them too! I keep trying to talk to Johnny about the one I am reading now, but he doesn't want me to ruin it for him, so I compensated with chatting with him about order of the phoenix, hehe. :D beckym -
Wednesday, 2 Jan oh dear! I am in trouble! Can't handle too much of an emotional situation right now, lol. Oh well, I will trudge through them and be armed with my tissues. This sounds like it will be bad. Yikes! beckym -
Wednesday, 2 Jan I made sure not to read any reviews on those 2 books just to be safe, but from word of mouth I heard that in deathly hollows a very near and dear character dies, but didn't get told who, so that will be interesting to find out, my hubby thinks it is dumbledore. Honestly, at this point, I kinda can't wait till I am done with the series, so I can finally stop thinking about it, and be less distracted. Like when I am at home, if I start reading, I have to pry the book away from me. But at the same time, I don't want it to end! beckym -
Wednesday, 2 Jan I finished Order of the Phoenix! I am in around 120 pages of half blood prince, yay! So far pretty shocking, like I guess chapter 2, the one with snape. beckym -
Saturday, 29 Dec I definitely have to try a new strategy, I think that sounds good! I will try that. Yeah, I really hate giving 35.00 at a time to the wind, it is so annoying. If I could just use cash like I did when I was younger, I would be a happy camper, but since all these bills are here, I gotta do something. So I will try your idea. Thanks! beckym -
Friday, 21 Dec Yeah, I thought it would be obvious it would come from harry potter, so maybe not such a good choice in name. When I knew the last harry potter book was coming out, I ordered the entire set, I thought it would be fun to read to Anthony, but he isn't interested like I thought he would be, he prefers his books. I read the first one in a day, and the second one in like 2 days, and I have been reading on my lunch break, when I have some spare time, and when Anthony falls asleep I read a lot. I am on Order of the Phoenix right now, 2 more books to go! I saw all the movies for the first 5 books and can't wait to get to the 6th book to read it before I see it! I like Piers Anthony as an author, but I definitely like Rowlings more, much funner. beckym -
Friday, 21 Dec I am worried that I will finish the series before I go into labor, and then I won't have harry potter to read in the hospital, but I guess I could read it over again, :D. Yeah, I fear I won't like any other books as much as the harry potter books either. I am on order of the phoenix right now, and that pink lady is driving me insane! Would you believe that for a fleeting moment, I contemplated what the name Hermione would be like for a little girl, but that passed quickly. :) sweetcheeks -
Tuesday, 18 Dec HAha. Thanks for your comment. It was cute...made me laugh. My lack of belly...that was the nicest thing ever =) I feel like I am going to explode....lol. 22 Weeks, how are you feeling? I am all of a sudden so so tired. Feel like I am slipping back into my 1st trimester. Well, good luck and congrats girl. K.I.T. mitzumama -
Thursday, 13 Dec Thanks for your comment. It's good to know I am not the only one. Wasn't it grand being pregnant the first time, sitting on the couch, considering doing the dishes but skipping it to watch Oprah instead, or napping, or eating, or taking a bath!!!! Oh I long for those days. My kids and I are doing alright, it's not a mad house every day. I try to plan a project with my son while my daughter is at school to keep him busy, today we made stamps out of potatoes and dipped them in paint and pressed it on giant pieces of paper for personalized Christmas wrapping paper. Then we made mini pizzas out of english muffins! So good. But as we approach nap time I can sense disaster. He has been giving me hell every nap time! ARG. And by nap time I am so tired out I just need to rest. Luckily I am on break from school so I can do all these little things with him instead of pushing him away while I do my homework. Once my daughter gets home I can relax a bit, she is a big help. My husband is a big help too, but like yours he is tired after work and I feel guilty pushing the kids on him. We are getting better at making it all balance out. It sounds like you have your hands full too. I am sorry your husband isn't in the position to give you more appreciation. Some men were raised in an environment where women just did everything! I am not sure about yours, but if he was, it's probably hard for him to recognize the value of your hard work. But all of us other moms do! Keep up the good fight! Your children and mine will survive this pregnancy, I am sure of it.
