August 21st: Well We are having a boy. I am so excited. Little Jude Addison Smith will be my late Christmas present. My boyfriend is pretty happy that I am giving him a son. I can't wait to meet him! Still don't really feel movements. I wonder if it is okay to work 50 hour weeks now....

Well, My name is Shannan. I am 28. I live in the great NW. I have a son who is 7 now, and so hard to keep up with! I got pregnant by accident and even though I was taking precautions (Ortho-Cyclen)! So I am a little worried about everything, but have decided it must be a blessing and everything will be ok. I have a great wonderful supportive boyfriend, who hopefully someday soon I will be calling him my husband(although we vowed not to get married just for the baby).
I am not entirely sure of my due date, it keeps changing until I get another ultrasound and they can actually date the baby/uterus. So far I have had December 24th, January 9th and January 22nd. So The baby is due sometime in winter.
I am getting excited, and can't wait to find out what it is. I really keep going back and forth on what I want. It would be nice to have a girl since I already have a son, but really I am so fond of baby boys. I guess cuz I grew up a tomboy, and I just know how to deal with boys better. A girl would be a little out of my element.

Thanks for the comment. I just hope my two girls I have now are okay later in life. I will definetly get the BPA free bottles b/c i don't want my poor little boy to have fertility issues! I wish I knew all of this when my daughters were born :( Any idea what kind of bottles are bpa free and not too expensive? is saw thegerber bpa free bottles anf they were only $2.99, but I will be breastfeeding, too and don't want to get bottles that will interfere with breastfeeding. Maybe I just ahve to spend teh $18.99 for two bottles...oh well. My kids health is more important than money.

yep with my first 2 i hated the smell but with this one it actually settles my nausia a bit and it was pretty bad so i sort of clung onto it. I feel like a really bad mother esp since i did go cold turkey with the other 2 im hoping ill be done with cigs before bubs is due so that its not as affected. Thanks xx

The doc will give you antibiotics that wont hurt baby! i had one. You can get a home test for uti. it's called azo and it comes w/ 3 thats how I found out b/c I never had one either. You can get them at wal- mart or drug store for about 10.00. In the mean time water water water and cranberry juice (100%). It is gross but the other stuff wont help you.! Go to the doc b/c an uti when it gets bad can cause m/c and early labour!

Am I weird and selfcentered to be upset that I am gaining weight? I am struggling with the fact that I am gaining weight in my belly. I was extremely skinny in my stomach before (almost grossly thin), and now I have a normal stomach and it is scaring me, if I am bothered by it right now what am I going to think when I can't see my toes? I am just trying to eat healthy and not overgain, and only gain belly weight, I know it's possible if I am careful with eating and working out.
I am having so many gas bubbles in my belly I wouldn't know if I was having flutters.

I am so excited to feel him/her move, I can't wait! I keep feeling things and think is that it? maybe that? most times it's gas bubbles. The strangest feeling is the belly stretching, when you get that tickle/itch across your belly.

just wanted to let you know that i didnt smoke heavily with her, maybe 4 or 5 a day. it still wasnt good for her in any way, but it wasnt as bad as i may have made that seem. far as this baby goes, im trying to quite. its a hard process tho, thats for sure. but thanx for responding.

Im in exactly the same boat as u hate the waiting around just to know if everything will b ok my last pregnancy was 3 yrs ago and was eptopic b4 that was my little girl 8 yrs ago so its trying to remember what is normal and what isnt lol x
