i believe green poop means too much lactose (too much fore milk and not enough hind milk).

HI, I use organic Similac most of the times. I like it alot. Doesn't seem to disolve quite as easily unless you heat the water first

Heather-08-01 - Sunday, 21 September
Are you planning to breastfeed her too? The breastfeeding is defintely the way to go to get the stimulation to get your supply up. If you are BFing along with 6 pumping sessions/day that should defintely do the trick. I wish you all the best - I need to try the oatmeal trick too!

Hey I was just reading ur comment in babies and I used the wal-mart brand formula for my son and he was fine. I asked the health nurse and she said its the same as similac and others. Has all the same nutrients. If it didnt it wouldnt be on the shelves. Hope this helps. Take care you.

It sounds perfectly normal. On most babies. Especially black babys a bald spot rubs in from where they lay the most. It's because baby hair is so fine. Eventually thicker hair will replace all of his hair. I'm still waiting for my 9 week old's hair to start getting thicker and fuller. Right now it's still pretty fine like baby hair. Just keep it moisturized and talk to the doctor about it.

It is quite normal for babies to lose hair and have bald spots. My two older daughters developed bald spots at the back of their heads and my third lost most of the hair on the top of her head.

Let me know how the bumbo seat works out. Hey, did you use the baby einstien video yet? How did that work out.

Heather-08-01 - Sunday, 21 September
Upon the advice of my cousin, I went ahead and ordered 600 tablets - that sounds like a lot, but I'm starting off taking 5 10mg pills 3x's/day. As soon as I have my BF situation worked out and my milk supply is adequate I can start working myself down maybe off if things are going well. My son has some issues being able to breastfeed fully yet - I've basically been pumping since he was born (he's 7 weeks now)- BUT things are looking up and we are starting to BF more so hopefully that will really help my supply... sorry for the long story. Good luck let me know if you have any questions.

Angelia - Sunday, 21 September
When I'm diligent about following the recommendations I find my milk supply definitely goes up. I HAVE to eat at least a cup of oatmeal daily. Also, rather than take Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle separately I take a pill that has them combined called More Milk Plus. I'm also suppose to pump a couple of times a day. I have to admit that with such a busy household (I have two daughters and two foster children in addition to my newborn) I don't get the opportunity to pump as I should to stimulate my production. My hubby works in the evening so when I get home from work I have to take care of all 5 kids myself.

PLEASE let me know how you do with the Regalin. I am considering asking my doctor to give me a prescription for it. I have found my milk supply dwindles at night when my baby still needs to eat. I'd like to try Regalin to see if it would help me keep up production at night.

I don't have anyone locally I know that has taken Regalin. I had discussed it a couple of weeks ago but I was going through so much depression I was considered a candidate since the medication can cause/create depression.

Ok first of all..I can top your geekyness!! I own all 3 DVD's and all 3 extended editions, I saw the movies a total of 33 times in the theater, I have an throw LOTR blanket that I must always have. I also own all the Harry Potter books, I have an additction to bookstores (hubby no longer allows me in one alone LOL). I read not only books but audio books as well. Why I am not a trekky, I do love Stargate and Babalyon.

Let me ask you, how did you like the last harry potter. I cried so hard when I read Snape story.

I will definitely take pictures of the custome and the dress this weekend.

Went to babyrus, spent $64. Hubby was with me so I was able to control myself. I bought a car toy and tried the rainforest jumperoo and the stationary activity centers, I pulled them off the display. I recommend doing this before ordering or buying one b/c she did not like the jumperoo!! She absolutley loved this one:

but hubby also loved this one:

They gave me a 20% coupon for next week so I may buy it then what do you think?

We have way too much in common!LOL

I tried the Adiri bottle today, no luck...

Reglan has the potential to cause depression and I already have a history of anxiety/depression. So they wouldn't prescribe it for me, because of my history. Motilium does the same thing but doesn't cross the brain/blood barrier so there is little to no risk of the depression. Also, you can take Motilium as long as you need - not just 10 days. My cousin has nursed 3 children using the drug with no problems. You can do some research on the drug and see for yourself; a good place to start would be breastfeedingonline.com. I purchased it through inhousepharmacy.com. It took a week to arrive and it's taken about a week for me to see any results. If you already established a full milk supply you will see results very quickly, but I didn't. Because of that it will take a little longer for me to see dramatic results, but I can definitely see in increase in my supply without any doubt. Good luck! The downside to the Motilium is you have to take 3x's a day - so you can't be lazy about it if you want to see results.

Oh God not you too!! My best girlfriend in a huge fan of Legolas, me on the other hand is excited by looking Viggo (Aragon). He is my future ex husband LOL

I think the Rainforest one has the loud music. I am not sure which one I am going to get.
Ok I think this the custom we are going for:

http://www.amazon.com/Costume-Craze-Baby-Princess-Leia/dp/B000H8FMTE

do not laugh me and hubby are big geeks. He is a Star Wars fan to the end and I am a Lord of the Rings fan. Our poor child. LOL

i know what you mean. when i was pregnant, i once asked him to watch over the milk while i went to use to the toilet and to turn off the stove, if the milk boiled over. he looks at me and asks me how will he know the milk is boiling over? i am like huh???!!!

he cant make himself a jelly sandwich. the best he can do is open a can of coke and help himself to it. he is totally clueless in the kitchen. he cant make himself instant noodles for gods sakes.

and he thinks i spend the day baby talking. he is only now starting to understand how much work, handling a baby is. he is now beginning to understand babies dont just eat and sleep. they cry, poop, pee and get it all out of diapers even when they have them on. they need to be held and consoled for no apparent reason and fed even when they dont want it really. ( my daughter thinks eating is a waste of time and would honestly live on love and fresh air if she had her way). i am glad he is beginning to understand though. better late than never.

Ok after reading some of the bad reviews for the jumper, i am a little scared to buy it. Apparently the noises are awful and loud. I knew we would get toys that made annoying sounds, but I refuse to buy something myself that will annoy me. I know my cousins will be paying me back this Christmas with gifts that make awful noises LOL. I think I want to try out both in the store and then make my decision...do you think they will let me?

I like the zoo animal theme as well, I just do not want to go to Noah's ark. I figure the rainforest will make me limit my self to a select number of animals.

roseplus1 - Friday, 19 September
Yeah, like the fisher price. I love the animals and I have been unconsciously buying all animal like themes for her. For example, her car mirror is rain forest and her floor gym rain forest. She loves looking at the animals. I would go out and buy the rain forest bouncer if I did not already have a girlie one.

What do you think of this jumper? It is not collapsible.

First of all, I knew you were being bad..your were off line for a long time and something told me you went shopping LOL! What shampoo did you get for her cradle cap? Elizabeth has is so bad and nothing I do is getting rid of it. I am afraid to scrub her head when I wash it and the doctor said to wash her hair everyday, but she does not like it and I only do it three times a week. You and those outfits. I hope my mom gives me the money back for her christening outfit, then I can go buy some more things for her.

I was thinking of doing a rain forest theme..but thought it might not be girlie enough. A light green with purple are the colors I really want. That way she can have a little bit of both worlds, does that make sense?

tracylouella - Friday, 19 September
yes Im going today!
