its not my mil, its my fil who claims to know it akk because he had four siblings and claims thats his experience. he has an opinion on everything from breastfeeding to diapers and it really gets on my nerves. i have tried telling him that watching Michael Phelps swim all his life doesnt make his mom a swimmer. unless she got into the water would she know what swimming is all about. and of course he conveniently fails to hear just those few words of wisdom. :(

i would love to know how to get my supply back up. right now when i squeeze, i get a drop or two thats all. 4 days after i gave birth, i was pumping 4-5 ounces from each breast. :(

I know, I want him to grow more independent, but even now he is so cute, finally his cheeks cleared and are so very smooth! When my 19 yo comes and all big, hairy porkupine and talks about trucks, muscles, testosterone and fat burner suplements, does not want to listen anything from us.... I realize that this little bundle of joy will some day be like his big brother and today is the time when I have him all to myself to love, pet, play.

oh darn... hope it gets better.. but I am pretty sure it will grow back

jasmineflower - Wednesday, 17 September
Oh I know!!! Sometimes you have to trick them for their own good. Ha ha.

roseplus1 - Wednesday, 17 September
First of all, I am jealous your tot page is almost up to date. LOL. Second, I am very proud of your spending today..although the online shoping may be cheating :) Lizzy has only messed her clothes once. Are they putting the diapers on her right?

I love your pics. I am going to update my page right now.

jasmineflower - Wednesday, 17 September
It's funny. I told my DH to slip her the bottle when she was just barely waking up but still asleep...to trick her to be too tired to mind taking it. By the time she woke up she was already halfway through the bottle cuz she was so hungry. Sounds silly I guess but it worked!

ozbaby - Wednesday, 17 September
No there is no lumos or bumps. I didnt notice it this morning when she fed so maybe it was just her sucking differently. I did notice my nipple was very purple yesterday... If it happens again ill see the Dr. Thanks for your advice.

So, I lucked out..the walmart i went to is going through renovations so nothing was really on display. So I actually went in and spent only 35 dollars. Very proud of myself. But I was tempted...

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
Oh yes this is an addiction and since you are on it all the time with me...you are feeding my addiction. I have no other friends with baby's and my the children in my family are older so no one can really relate. Its funny b/c my MIL is always asking what the 'girls' from my site suggest when ever we have an issue with Lizzy. I think this site has been a calming force during pregnancy and after. Goodness must of us have been corresponding since we found out about our pregnancy's. We should do a reunion.

Thanks for being my online buddy. You can tell our jobs require us to be on the computer or at our desk.

I work from 630 to 3 with a half hour lunch.

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
I was talking about this site today and how I have spent most of my time at work either here or on the new site..he said I should seek counseling.

Let me ask you..do you talk to your husband about this site?

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
I was looking at something similar the just last night. But since she does not have a crib yet, I decided not to order it. However, I did not think about putting on the floor..hmmm I may be spending more at walmart than I need too. I will try to stay focused and just get wipes...

I love your site. I am going to do most of mine when I get home. It keeps freezing my computer here. I went on maternity leave and asked the IT guy to fix my computer while I was gone, and I swear it is worse than what it was before I left.

You know I am addicted to online shopping so why did you show me this site for childrens wear?...God I need help that denim dress is so cute.

15 minutes until I can leave and go get my baby. YEAH

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
Ok, not to freak you out or anything..but we have the same bedsheets..this is to weird. The pillow through me off. This is crazy.

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
What is the feet piano and does it work?

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September

Our day care ranges from 6 weeks to 12 years old. But in her room they range from 6 weeks to 12 months. They seperate the them into 2 goups 6 weeks to 5 months and then 5 months to a year. There are four teachers in the room all together, two on each side. They are really nice and I know that they are doing their best, it is just not what I would do. I know that they do not giver her tummy time and enough time on her back under a gym. They should sing to her or dance with her like I do..ok lets not talk about the daycares any more it makes me want to go get her..:(

I bought a Parents Magazine exercise and yoga video that uses the baby and allows you to interact with the baby as you exercise. Lizzy likes it sometimes. She loves the ab exercises (of course I hate those)We have only used the DVD 3-4 times. It saves money on going to a class. Which I will sign up for as soon as she is 6 months.

Oh Lizzy likes tummy time before daycare. Now b/c she is not getting it regularly she gets fussy much faster. I only leave her on her tummy for about a minute or two twice a day. I am working on doing it longer. I do not let her cry when she is on her tummy. So as soon as she wimpers I pick her up. I do not want her to associate it with sadness.

That site is cool. Do you use it? I think I will try to put together a site for friends and family.

Elijahs Mom - Tuesday, 16 September
Thanks, thats what I've been doing but missing out on 8+ hours is just really hard to compensate for. I'm definetely trying to keep it up but if it dries up there's not much I can do. Bleh, I wasnt supposed to return to work for like a year but insurance is just too expensive with me and my son. On top of all our other bills, my husband just cant keep us afloat alone. Just gotta do what I gotta do :(

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
What time do you put her down to sleep? After I pick Elizabeth up at 330 she is generally so hungrey she eats for about 1 hour, naps for 20 minutes and is then up until bed time at 730. She is always cranky between 6 and 7. So I wait for as long as I can then giver her a bath, feed her again and then put her down to sleep. When she is up I feel like I am bombarding her with activities. Like tummy time, gym time, reading, talking to, and even mommy and me exercise. Poor child must be exhausted. I am just afraid that the center is not giving her enough activities to do. I hope that they do not leave her in her bouncer all day.

roseplus1 - Tuesday, 16 September
Part of me can not wait until she can talk and walk and play with me. I want to read to her and know that she is enjoying mommy's funny voices LOL. Or take her to the playground, swimming pool, or beach. Then I look at her and can not imagine her as a toddler or preteen. The other day I actually started crying thinking about her moving out and getting married. I know it is sappy. I think this stage is awesome and I am trying to cherish it. But, overall, I honestly can not wait until she is more interactive with toys and me. Just a couple of months to go.

What about you. Are you happy at this stage?

I am beginning to feel that I am missing all of this time now though b/c she is in daycare longer than she is up with me at night. I live for the weekends now.
