hey ladiies
sorry i took so long

so i got to the hospital a bit before 5...
they checked the baby, monitored me.
determined i wasnt in labor ((which i already knew! duhh!))...

then they determined i wasnt dilating --also knew that.

n e ways... they said they werent sure what the pain was but if it gets worse 2 come bak!
im like hello! i came for u 2 tell me whats wrong... not whats not wrong! ugh!

i was so frustrated, it was like 7:30 when i left. had to pay 6 bux parking...n then i get home n realize they didnt give me bak my insurance card or my medicaid card! so i had to call the insurance co. ask for another card. n i been callin medicaid n the lines busy! ugh!

so im still in pain. they said i could take tylenol.. so i stopped at the gas station ((only had tylenol pm. so i took that last nite)) bought extra strength tylenol today. n ill take it if i need it.

ive got an ultrasound friday.
so i guess for now ill do my best to relax and take the Tylenol if needed. n if it gets worse ill go bak 2 the hospital!

((they did say i could take tylenol 3)) so i gotta find some! hmmmmmmm.......

Ugh, I hear you loud and clear with the teething! Joey's been teething since 3 months but today he is a monster. I cannot go near his gums and he just cries while his fingers are on them. He is actually screaming while he cries. It breaks my heart that I can't help him. The gum is so swollen and red I feel so terrible!

Where does Alyvia nap throughout the day? If you want to transition her to her crib start her naps there if you haven't already. Joey always ends up in bed with us too and he is such a little monkey that I have almost fallen off of the damn bed plenty times lol! But that usually doesn't happen until early early morning.

I hope she is doing better and you are too! Anything else going on?

I have gurd...it sucks butt!!! It was just a suggestion. Things like that can change as a baby grows. Have you tried propping her up at all when she sleeps?

My mother always called them air cleaners when I was little. I have really bad asthma and we had one in about every room. I guess its the same thing as an air cleaner. Ya know I really know nothing of vaporizers. I could never use them because of my asthma, but it does sound like it could benefit the both of you :)

I agree. I over calculate everything since *nothing* was simple with my first born. I assume the worse with Sean

I'm so glad to hear everything is going good! Yeah, time does fly! I was just in the shower a minute ago and I was thinking.."Last year, at this time, I was pregnant!". It really is crazy!

I just got Caleb to sleep pretty decent this past week! A few weeks ago, he was waking up 2-3 times a night and it seemed like he would wake up right when I was ready for bed. Ugh! I was so sleep depreived!! He still sleeps in the pack n play bassinet next to the bed. One thing I've done that seems to help with his naps is to put him in one of those baby sack/sleeper things. I't like a little sack without arms that zips up. I think it keeps him from kicking around so it's kindof like a swaddle. It seems to really help during nap times.

Caleb has been eating solids for almost a month now but last week I finally got him on a 4 hour schedule and I've increased his day time soild meals. Since I started doing that, he wakes up only once and sleeps from 8:30 until 3-5am then again until 8-9am! Its GREAT!!!!

So here is a sample of his meal schedule:

8:00am 2tbs fruit mixed with 2 tbs cereal and 4-5 oz bottle
12:00pm same as above
4:00pm 6oz bottle
6:00pm 2tbs cereal and 2-4 tbs veggies (he doesn't like these as much as fruit...of course!)
8:30pm 7 oz bottle
Then when he wakes up in the middle of the night he gets another 4 oz. That normally gets him though until 8-9am

I've also started weening him. Well, he decided one day that he just doesn't like the boobie any more so he has been getting expressed milk for a while now. I'm still pumping about 1 5-8oz bottle a day but today I didn't pump at all. I have about a weeks worth of milk still stored in the freezer so once that is doen...we are done breast feeding! It's almost a relief and a bit sad too. I still cuddle Caleb while giving him a bottle so I don't feel any less close to him.

It's also nice some mornings when I get Caleb out of his bed and snuggle with him in my bed. I don't do it too often though because, just like Alyvia, Caleb kicks, squirms, crys, wiggles and smacks me all night long! I sometimes curl my legs up so I'm kindof spooning him but he ends up bouncing off of my legs or my stomach and neither of us sleep! ugh! I feel your pain there!! Let me know if you want so tips on helping her sleep better!!

todays been a rough day...

its a year since i gave birth to my twins and my son died that same day. im goin nuts... n ive had lots of pain from the baby puttin pressure so im trying not to drive myself nuts and put myself in early labor!

please keep my lil man and i in ur prayers
things are starting to look up... and im hoping God is blessing us in so many ways...

I remember when I was still nursing Sean and he did that turning away really quick...that hurts...LOL

Hmmm...still waking up alot....Do you think she has reflux maybe and it bothers her while she is laying down?? I would make sure at her 6 month appointment that you just mention it to the doctor to see what he says.

I have been living sucking Seans nose out too. His doctor is already suspecting asthma with him. I dunno....but he is definetly showing some definite issues. I think my next step is to get a bunch of air cleaners for the house

heyy ladies!
had an ob appt 2day...
basic apt.

walk in.
pee in cup.
weigh myself (( so i gained 2 lbs in 4 weeks... but figure that friday the munchkin had gained 1 lb 5 oz... so... its all goin 2 him! lol! THANK GOD! )) so its a total weight gain of 12 lbs!

n e ways... did the glucose test. guess the results will be ready in a few days....

(( the drink wasnt too bad. like orange gateorade))...

-please pray i dont get pregnancy diabetes!... for 2 reasons... 1 cuz it sux n 2 cuz im a sweets pheen! lmao. id freakin go nuts!

hope all are doing well.
10 weeks left! got the next ob appt in 3 weeks...

hope time flys! i want my lil one in my arms already

Sean does not sleep at all during the day. . . I think he is too nosey..lol He wakes up a couple times at night (he is still in our room ) and if I pick him up and lay him next to me he usually goes right back out. Have you tried letting her sleep on something else besides the bassinette, maybe its uncomfortable or something? I dunno. The boys have been pretty sick this past month. It was awful, but so far this week is looking good! I was startin to worry bout you!

Maybe it is her teeth. Did you rub on her gums? Are there any bumps? Try teething tablets. Have you tried gripe water? My sister swears by them. Ava is starting to teeth. I give her the tablets and tylenol. She's a drool bug! and yes she's waking up more during the night. It's just there gums hurting and it wakes them up then they get whiney and want there mommy!!!!! Gotta love it! yes, have your man take a day off work and have him wake up with her. Have the bottle ready for him and sleep all night. You need it. You'll do much better when your well rested! I gave Ava your hug, she's very sick so needed it! She has a bronchial infection :( the dr wants her to try to fight it on her own but it just KILLS me to see her suffer and cough like crazy. I can feel the rumble in her chest and back. I want to cough up the flem for her. Give Alyvia a hug for me as well!

lil mans already weighin 2 lbs 12 oz! n im only 28 weeks! i love it! hes gonna be a lil fat boyy.

Well, it does sound like you need a bigger bed! Alyvia is spoiled!! and there is nothing wrong with that!!!! I wish I could of breast fed :( it makes me sad that I couldn't produce enough to feed Ava. I was wondering if maybe I tried to breast feed a little longer maybe I would of started to produce more? Sorry to hear about your lack of sleep and Alyvia's hard time breathing. Yucky, but "tis the season!!!" (to be misserable!) Ava's all clogged up too. She could hardly breath yesterday she kept sniffiling and it was so cute how she crinkled hernose up! She doesn't freak out though when I suck her nose out. She just puckers her face up. I hope you got some sleep last night. Ava spent the night with her grandma. My mother in law asked me 2 months ago if she could stay over last night and then she's bringing Ava up here to work today to trick or treat!!!! I bought all the nurses in my department jars of baby food to give to Ava in her princess trick or treat bag!!! Hee-hee! Well HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take pics of Alyvia and post them for me!!!! luv ya xoxoxo from me and Ava!!!!!
