Well 15.12 is not OVERWEIGHT but it has him in the 97th percentile..lol So he is not lacking by any means. How much did she weigh at her check up?

I hope you don't mind but I read your birth story out loud to a couple of girls at work! We laughed and I cried! It was a very good one. I know that you were in alot of pain and I wanted to tell you that even though I don't know you I am very very proud of you! I hear you on the whole turbo charged breast milk thing ME TOO!! My doctor laughed and said that I must have all cream in my milk. My little one is 9 weeks and is 15 lbs and 12 oz!! WOW :)

No the doctor explained to me that the baby blues are simply when your hormones are raging and not right yet causing you to cry for no reason or be more irritable. Post Partum Depression is the sad one.

actually, when i get up and breastfeed and burp him, he has puked and spit up, but when i fall asleep breastfeeding and he finishes himself and doesnt get burped, he hasnt spit up once yet (knock on wood)...strange, huh? is your baby in a cosleeper or just in bed with you? i use a cosleeper part of the night and have him in bed part of the night. i think im gonna buy a king size mattress so my husband can come back to bed (theres no room for him right now with the cosleeper) and yeah the movement and noises keeps the baby in a lighter sleep supposedly so they cant sleep as heavy when they are cosleeping, i dont know if that means they are more likely to move if we roll on them, though, but the risk of that is low unless mom is drunk, medicated, or exhausted.

Because I was happy, but I was just crying all the time for no reason at all. Walking into the doctors office, just talking on the phone, or walking in the other room at that. It was very odd and very hard to explain. The doctor says it runs in families and even though my mother didnt have it my grandmother and aunts did. :) Im so much better though now :)

thanks! it sounds like we sleep with our babies the same. snuggled on our sides. i actually googles cosleeping and sids and found that studies showed that cosleeping decreased the risk because baby cant go into as deep as a sleep because of our breathing and moving. so i feel better and also my baby will be sound asleep and as soon as i put him down in his bed he fusses, too. thanks for your comment, i appreciate it

Congratulations to you and your husband! Your daughter is absolutely beautiful

I had my baby boy on Tuesday April 29th 2008. He waqs 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20/34 inches tall. He is 12 pounds now and it makes me sad. I guess the breast milk works miricales. The Dr said he is 99% percentile for his age which means he's bigger than most babies around his age. he is a month and 2 weeks old and it makes me sad. he grew outta his newborn clothes and 3 month clothes and is now in 6 month clothes:(
