That's great that Alyvia is thriving! I know what you mean about bfing. I love the bond too. I'm a little sad because I have to go to work when she is only 3 months, but I still have a couple months to go, so I'm savoring every minute.

Your labor was really fast for a first one. My first was 46 hours and this one was only 6 hours, so there is definitely a big improvement between labors. The flip side is that my contractions were more painful though. I guess that's how I progressed so quickly. It only took me a few hours to reach 8 cms. Alex would probably have been born super fast but she was posterior and it took her time to turn around and enter the canal.

Hey there! Thanks for the note. Of course I'm not bothered by you reading my other posts. I'd be such a hypocrit if I were, since I go around reading everyone else's. Lol.

Your birth story was really interesting. I had a similar experience in that I knew for a fact when my water broke, but that dumb swab said it hadn't. Thankfully, the nurse didn't send me home, because Alex was born just a few hours after they did that swab!

I told Hubby what you advised about the paneling, but he is very stubborn. He won't listen to anyone and gets mad whenever I try to tell him anything. He is really unreasonable about wanted me not to tell him anything. He did, however, agree to take the paneling down if the paint looks like crap. He's convinced that he is so skilled and will do such a spectacular job that it will look great. He even promised not to get mad if after all that work he has to take it down, so theoretically that will be his problem. But of course, since he's so grumpy and easy to anger I'm sure he will still get mad, but at least he's already agreed to take it down.

So how are you and Alyvia doing? Have you gotten the hang of nursing yet? Apparently, I make super potent milk because both my babies have been 100% breastfed and grow gigantic. Alex is already 11 lbs 9 0z and is so chunky and healthy! :)

Well, I won't tell you we have had 2 honey moons then! Opps I just did. J/K. We booked a Jamaica vacation 2 years in advance to the wedding and had it all paid for! Well... the night before we were to leave we got spray tanned and we were in the tanning booth when my cell rang. It was our travel agent telling us that our flights got canceled because of hurricane dean!!! We were so bummed out! I guess the hurricane wiped out alot of Jamaica and our resort was having to remodel so we couldnt book until just this past march! 7 months later we got to go to jamaica but I was 19 weeks preggo! All ultra inclusive resort that I couldn't drink at! My hubby sure did have a good time... I had a good time taking advantage of his drunk butt as well!!! Well the night we got the call about the cancelations we decided to plan a spuratic vacation to myrtle beach south carolina! so the next morning we wokeup early loaded the car and took a road trip! we were there for 7 days it was awesome fun! You need to book something now and pay monthly for a honey moon. We put like 30 or 40 dollars a month on the vacation sometimes a little more or less. You know, Carnival cruises are really cheap! we went on one a couple years ago a 4 day all inlcusive cruise to the bahamas for less than 400.00 a piece! You need a honey moon girl friend. Book it in advanced, then your baby will be a little older and can stay with gramps and grams for a week! just don't forget your birth control!!!! Hee-Hee!! Ps- I think you made the right decision about not having alcohol at your wedding! That could of been a disaster! Something you'd see on t.v reality or something!

Well, everything is going good so far... I'm ready to have her. My Dr. seems to think that I will go towards the end of July and not in August by how I'm measuring. So 1 more month! (hopefully)!

LOL.. it is hard at first to split from the little one - I still think about him nonstop, call (not as much anymore) as soon as I see him I snatch him up like its been weeks or even months. lol.. Theyre our babies and soooo young so to have them not with us is very strange we took them with us everywhere for 9 months some ladies 10 - to the washroom and everything lol.

Hmm regarding the breast pump - did you know you can rent them from the hospital.. WAY CHEAPER than buying.. hand expressing is tedious.

Wedding planning is slllloooowwww I dont know if you read my engagement update blog, but Im getting a upgraded engagement set, and thats going to be it for a little while ..

We just had to deaths happen within this week, a friends father is in the hospital dying quickly so suddenly (few weeks to go if not a couple months if we're lucky) my uncle just got out of the hospital, theres just so much that we can be engaged as long as we want and do the wedding when the time is right, planning has been FAR FROM MY MIND lately.

LOL.. you should hire me. I like you page I think its bright and sooooooooo cute especially now that her pics are up!!! YAY

But yes if you want me to do something let me know, it takes a bit now that Keegan needs more mommy time but if your patient we have a deal!

OOOO did I tell you Keegan eats baby food now, he had apple sauce as his first today! Im so excited!!! . You'll prolly see a blog about it, lol

OO ok! Yeh I used to be a j-walker - now I find it takes longer to get places .. and I am a bit worried that Im going to get hit - well more so keegan because these stupid strollers are in front of us at all times .. that makes me uneasy.

I have gotten frustrated at Joey a couple of times as well. And I feel horrible, but when he's cranking out over his binky not being in his mouth that he just spit out across the pack n play a mile - which this is his thing when he is overtired to do!! - I am like AHHHH!! But he really is great, lol it's just when he does that and it's the middle of the night when I'm ready to scream.

Yes, he's more awake during the day now. HE is entertaining to watch. He is such a momma's boy it is ridiculous!!! We went to my sister in laws baby shower today and he was just the life of the party (o: He also has shown an interest in toys now. I put his mirror on his changing table so he can see himself when I change him. He will stare and stare at himself. He also loves rattles, and will follow them with his eyes. It's fun to watch him do all of this!!

Were you bombed with people visiting at first? We're two and a half weeks, and it is still crazy!

I would be so pissed! Your body is still going through a lot even after the pregnancy because it's trying to get everything back to normal. Your hormones are still going crazy trying to get use to not having to produce them for the baby anymore, and all your organs are going back where they belong... it's still hard for a few months after the baby. Make sure he knows that you're not back to yourself quite yet. I'm sorry he's being a booger.
Surprizingly, after we had Adelyn {You spelled it right by the way} Jason was always up with me for the first few weeks. I don't know if he was just paranoid that there was something wrong with her or what. Oh wait, I just asked Jason why he was always getting up with me, and he said it was because he just didn't want to miss anything. I had it very easy Addie though, she was a very content baby, and she was mostly sleeping through the night by about 3 weeks. She was just so easy {of course she's paying me back now haha. things are going to get easier though once she has adapted to a schedule. The more you two get to know eachother the easier it will be for you to set a schedule because you will know her fussy times and all of her little cries... you'll pretty much know what she's trying to tell you {If you don't already know} Sleep will come with time hunnie! Hang in there!

I can't believe his parents weren't like right there right after she was born. I don't know them... but from how you told me about how they just invited themselves up last time, I would have thought that they would have made the trip already.

As for that Orange Drink... I crinkled my nose when I read that you liked it, and then laughed right out loud because in the next sentance you called it. haha, Oh that was funny. Jason gave me funny looks. I hate that stuff... I hate orange pop. bleck! But now my arm is all bruised where she took my blood. She did it like right on my tendon at the bend of my arm... I have never had anyone take blood from that spot. Like directly on my tendon... It hurt so bad... but Adelyn was with me, so I had to be a big girl. lol.

Hi love!!! It's been a long time since I've talked to you. Sounds like everything is going great with Alyvia! {And your turbo charged breast milk :o)} So what's been going on? Anything new? New furniture from Kamils parents yet? haha!
I only have ten weeks left! I can't wait to get this little guy out here. I had to do that disgusting orange drink for the diabetes test this morning. Oh boy does that stuff make me feel like I've spent the whole night drinking. haha.

Hey you!! Yes my birth story was a bit crazy, but worth it all in the end (o: I love being a mommy, my little guy is so good. Knock on wood!!

How is Alyvia doing?? Is she sleeping better at night?? I hope so, it gets hard when they are up constantly. Luckily, Joey sleeps pretty well. He has had a couple of cranky nights, but nothing too bad. He sleeps anywhere from 3 - 6 hr intervals.
