Hey there! I finally got time to get on here! Logan and I are doing pretty well. He's had a bad diaper rash that won't go away. We've been using Nystatin and Hydrocortizone creams for 3 weeks and they're worthless. Took him back yesterday and they told me to use this other stuff with calamine lotion in it and its already wayyy better. He's already 12lbs 2oz! Are you still breastfeeding? Is Alyvia gaining weight that fast too? I've heard that BF babies are always a little chunkier at first.

Hope all is going well for ya'll. Lemme know how you guys are doing. I gotta get going. Its so hard to get sleep, so I gotta get it when I can. I know that you know what I mean. Take care, chica.

Hey you! Wanted to tell you that baby Ava will be here on July 22nd at 7:30 am!!! I started having contractions and pains over the weekend and the Dr put me off work! This is my last week being preggo! Yea!!! I hope your baby girl is doing well! Lots of love from me and Ava!

She sounds exactly like Eden, without seeing her, she is doing exactly the same thing. Eden has mild reflux, and my other two boys had it, it makes them very fretful and seem windy, they can throw up after feeding and between feeds and it upsets them to lie flat, as the acids from their stomach burn their oesphagus.
I have a prescription from my midwife who came this morning for her last visit to me, and she said that it sounds like reflux, and prescribed Eden 'gaviscon', I have to give it to her four times a day with a little water, I had to do the same with the boys, but I didn't really find it that wonderful, but willing to try anything at this stage.
Try raising the bassinette or cot at one end with some books on the ground, or place a folded up towel underneath the mattress, it helps if they sleep a little raised, and also, with reflux baby's, I found that sleeping them on their back made it worse, the same with the tummy, side sleeping and swaddling seem to help the best with soothing them.
Sometimes you can have silent reflux, where a baby shows all the signs of reflux without the throwing up.
Don't burp her in a sitting up position, as this aggravates reflux, she may grunt when you try to get her to sit, try burping her on your shoulder, this will help her throw up less
