I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

I cant believe i started showing that late either lol! part of me is glad cause its gonna be less weight to get off after the birth.. BUT alot of people in my town had "heard" i was preggers but didnt believe it cause i was still so small.. then out of the blue i started showing so now everyone thinks im having twins cause i started showing so quick lol!!! As far as baby names go we have 2 of our favorites picked out.. BUT we havent decided on which one yet... im hoping we have it picked out before the birth but my boyfriend said that if we didnt he wasnt gonna panic cause we do have it narrowed down 2 two names and when we see the baby we can decide what which name he looks like lol!! I think its so cool that you decided to wait until the birth to find out the sex, and your right there are not many suprises as an adult.. i wish i could have waited but i probably would have died lol! I am SOOO impatient lol! Espically since this is my first i know i could not have waited... maybe one day when we have baby #2 (in the far future lol) i can wait until the birth to find out! Have you tired TUMS for your heardburn? It is the only thing that i have found that gives me any relief and the good thing is that they are chewable so the relief is basially instant! My heartburn is weird.. when i eat spicy stuff that you would THINK it would give me heartburn it doesnt... BUT if i eat a salad or some bread i get the WORSE heartburn lol its kinda backwards.. so i know exactally what you mean about whatever you eat it happens.. BUT if you havent tired TUMS yet you should deff. try them!!! As far as the work thing goes, i waitress three nights a week and i work in an office 3 days a week (mon-wed at the office, thurs-sat i waitress) my last week at the office is gonna be week 35 (it is their policy) but i plan on waitressing until the bitter end (if my body holds up lol) i talked to my dr about it and he totally encouraged me to keep working so i would stay active... ive been lucky and i havent really had any back problems or problems with my legs swelling so i think im quite lucky.. but yea, i plan on working until i cant work anymore lol!!! everyone tells me that im crazy since i dont really have to work, BUT i just feel like if i sit around at the house all the time, the time will go SO SLOW so i would rather be out doing things.. espically since i do feel so good (knock on wood lol) im also a college student majoring in early childhood edu BUT i took the fall semester off since my due date is in november.. and i kinda wish i had stayed in school instead of taking off this semester and going back in january.. and i KNOW that if i am sitting around the house i will over think that and get all depressed lol (yea, SOMETIMES i tend to be a worry wort lol) i have days where i HIGHLY consider taking maternaty leave early.. BUT then i think about how bored i would be at the house lol!!

were both doing really good! I am now seeing the dr every 2 weeks instead of every 4 weeks which i am really excited about! I just love hearing the heartbeat and hearing the dr. say that everything is looking good! I have been really lucky and i didnt start showing at all until i was around 26 weeks... now when i tell people i am preggo they say "how far along, around 12 weeks?" when i tell them i am 31 weeks they have to pick their jaw up off the floor and they say "OMG where are you hidding that baby" lol! so i havent had alot of problems with feel swelling and trouble sleeping.. UNTIL this week.... i mean, i felt preggo the whole time cause i was feeling kicks and what not.. BUT this week pregnancy has fallen on me full force and im having every ache and pain in the book! BUT i hav refused to complain because i was so lucky not to feel crappy the whole time... it is just now starting lol! i just cannot believe i only have 7-9 more weeks! i can remember when i found i was preggo at 8 weeks and i thought this pregnancy was gonna go so slow... BUT BOY was i wrong lol!!!! Im expecting a baby boy! how are you and your baby? what are you expecting?

hey, i am from week 31 but i just read the post you posted in week 26 about the dog.. and let me just say that my employees now OFFICALLY think that i am the "crazy pregnant lady" lol (as if they already didnt think that lol) cause when i read that i just busted out laughing and couldnt stop for about 3 mins lol!!! I myself am a dog owner and one of my dogs is kinda older. my nephews come over to my house alot and when they leave you can Really see relief on his face like "whew, they are gone finally" i always get a huge kick outta that cause i think "omg, he is gonna have a nervous break down when the baby gets here" lol!!!! I hope you dont mind, BUT im gonna copy and paste that funny story into the week 31 board cause alot of us ladies in that week are having lots of aches and pains this week and i think they all need a good laugh like i just had!!!

chloe is doing fantastic she is gaining weight, and we tried her on bottles on sunday and she is taking them well and keeping them down.
so hopefully she will be out soon enough.

Hey hunnie awwww im glad to hear u and baba are doin well oh gosh u gotta love all the kickin and stuff they do inside sounds like u r like me and I can never get enough, we have picked the name gemma for our daughter we talked through a few names but gemma just keeped coming back up so I guess it was ment to be, how about u do u have any names picked out for ur little bundle of joy? Oh gosh I can only imagine how hard its been not finding out arghh as I said before I envy u girl, I couldn't do it, I wasn't planning on a baby shower either but my best mate insisited and I couldnt turn down an offer like that oh and just the thought of the cake mmmmmm, now that's just bad cravings right there lol, sounds like u had a good night last night, im so happy to hear that hun u desevre every part of it take care og urself and buba love all around xx

Thats awesome you are waiting to find out the sex. I know it must of been hard when you were asked if you wanna know. It will give you something to think about in labor other than the pain lol. It will be a nice suprise as well. Yeah, my daughter was small in utero as well and she weighes a whopping 7 pounds 2 ounces at birth... so you never know. Glad to hear that you and bub are well.

I had an u/s on weds. They said baby looks really good. She is super tiny though. I am 6 months and the baby should weigh around 1 pound 6 ounces and she weighs between 11-13 ounces. But she is healthy. Do you know what you are having?
