I see you are a teacher... so am I... how long are you taking leave when school starts? what grade do you teach? I am completely stressing about setting up my class (i teach 2nd grade) and setting up for a long term sub... let me know what u are doing...

carolynjh - Saturday, 12 July
Nope, I am OCD about this site too! I must be on here 10 times a day lol. And the baby borrowers is my new favorite show!

mommatiff3 - Friday, 27 June
What a beautiful name !! I keep going back and forth on girls names. There is so many cute ones I just cant make up my mind !!!

carolynjh - Tuesday, 24 June
ooooh, thats a tough one, I would want to go and see family too. But 3 hours is pretty far away, I would compromise and ask some of them to meet you somewhere halfway in btwn and maybe stay the night and hang out there with them instead? Then it could be a whole other seperate party!!!

ragskusa24 - Tuesday, 24 June
I say go see your family! When is the next time you'll see them...and 3 hours away isn't like going to Ohio! You should be fine. Just make sure not to trigger anything...stay comfy and cool and non-stressed! Enjoy your freedom now!!!

Angiepangie - Tuesday, 24 June
I agree with the other ladies...everyone is being paranoid and irrational...your not ill, your pregnant! Besides, 95% of babies are born within 9 days of their due date, so you're not even within that window. Aren't there hospitals in Jacksonville if you do need help for any reason?LOL! Go see your family...you'll regret it if you don't.

Mommad - Tuesday, 24 June
Go see your family! Even if you go into labor, 3 hours isn't that far. You won't even be in good hard labor by the time you get home!

number2intheoven - Tuesday, 24 June
Honestly I don't see a problem with it. You'll only be 3 hours away. Even if you do go in labor, I doubt you'll deliver in that short of time. What are the chances of you going into labor that one day you're gone? Puleeezee!Tell them they're overreacting lol

lise - Sunday, 22 June

Thank you for all good advices:) I am having mine on july 24, when are you?

Crysc - Thursday, 19 June
tylenol pm is allowed, the other ingredient that is in it that makes you sleepy is the same thing that is in benedryl and that is perfectly safe for us to take. :)

Although I'm hoping to have a VBAC, I'm very glad there is always the c-section option...it really does save lives. My first born would have probably have been born suffering oxygen starvation if I'd had him vaginally. He had his cord wrapped around his neck twice, and couldn't descend into my pelvis. You have to do what is right for you...it seems its the women that have never been faced with surgery have the most opinions on it!

devine310 - Wednesday, 18 June
i'm also having a scheduled c-section. mine is on July 30th !! I can't wait !!!

megan1981 - Wednesday, 18 June
Preggieteacher, I am having a planned c-section on the 29th of July, because I injured my back when I was in the Air Force. In the beginning I thought it was a wuss out but think about it... in some cases we're going thru more than vaginal delivery, this is considered major surgery!! You know.. in the long run it doesn't really matter how our little one gets here, the only reason people should look at us weird (I get those same looks too) is if we were doing something wrong..I'm more at risk for hurting my back more thru a regular delievery - so how could I be a good mother if I take the risk of hurting myself?? So screw people who don't get it.. besides we get to get cleaned out, they're the ones who have 6-8 weeks of after birth to get rid of. I am nervous for the procedure but then again, I say yeay us!

LizzyB - Wednesday, 18 June
I'm having a c-section too. I'm having twins and I get those kinds of responses too. People should just keep their opinions to themselves. Its your body so just do whatever is right for you. My OB said he wouldn't allow a natural birth but I've had people tell me to get a second opinion cos it is possible if they stay head down. Personally I'm glad to be having a c-section although I'm scared as hell but I feel this is the safest option and the thought of pushing 2 out is just too much. My mum had 6 natural births including twins and she is happy I'm having a c-section. She reckons all that stuff about it being so beautiful and natural is a load of crap lol.

lise - Saturday, 14 June
Hi! Yes it is my first c-section. Iam just starting to get a little nervous to get my belly cut up......any thing that helps? How about you nervous?

heaven08 - Friday, 13 June

Im so sorry that you lost your great grandmother! I was very close to my great grandmother too, she passed away 2 years ago on my fathers B-day and we barried her on my b-day, talk about a sucky week :(
She loved to sew and she had made some gorgeous baby blankets that I thought had been lost. Well come my baby shower a few weeks ago I opened a big bag and there they all were, of corse I started to cry. It was almost like she was there though. :)
I hope that everything goes well this week and that you have a great time at your shower!!! God Bless

shilah - Wednesday, 4 June
I know where that is :) I have family who live in brandon and riverview! Good luck to you too!!!
