Wow...It's been 9 years and well, I'm pregnant again! The initial shock was almost the same when I found out the first time that I was pregnant, it can't be. This time around, I am older and more mature and ready for what's in store (I think). When I found out that I was pregnant when I was only 5 wks along, so this pregnancy is going to be a long one. I've already survived a month thus far. We are looking forward to the new addition.

Today is not off to a good start, I'm still feeling sick. I wish the sickness would end sooner than later. I honestly do not believe that it is morning sickness, I think its due to my PN pill. Hopefully I can get that changed to see if thats the cause of my sickness: morning, noon and at night! I can tell that this will be a long pregnancy but I've got my head up (when im not throwing up) and can not wait til my countdown comes near the end.

So, today's my daughter's birthday and I wasnt feeling all that well but managed to still throw her a small party. She was happy so of course I was extremely happy! Well, as of yesterday, I am now 11 weeks. OMG, can it go by any slower! Is it so bad to want to rush the first part? I am so ready to get this 1st trimester out of the way. Hopefully that means the end of all my um..."praying to the porcelain god." Im ready to get some kind of energy back so I can do what I enjoy the most...SHOP. I want to buy some baby items but feel like its waaaay too soon AND we don't even know the gender of the baby. The only thing I do is browse through the aisles saying my "Ooohs and Aaawws" over almost everything.

Well mommies, mommies-to-be, and TTCs, today I had my ultrasound to find out the gender. Almost everyone around me already knew what I was having and of course the doctor confirmed it...

I know I havent done much updating to my page but things have been so busy for me. Aside from all the sickness that I went through and bed rest...I'm glad its over (not the pregnancy, I mean the cons of pregnancy)! I have finally been enjoying being pregnant! Time seems to have flown by for me already, at times I want to rush it but others, I just want to enjoy each and every moment of it (no matter how sick, painful, tired) no matter how I feel. Now I just want to shop now that I know the sex of the baby. And yes, we are positive that he's a boy because the little 'turtle head' was clearly seen on the screen, not to mention he spread his legs just enough for us to see.

Hey mommies, mommies-to-be, and fellow TTCs, its time for yet another update. Well today I went to the doctor and had my glucose test for Gestational Diabetes. I was relieved after I drank the orange drink. I was thinking that it was going to be something HORRIBLE. I was wrong tho. It wasn't all THAT bad. Didn't make me sick or anything, I was just hungry from fasting the night before. Anyway, the drink has improved from what I drank the first time around, which was like an orange slush or icee w/out the ice...just orange syrup. I get my results back tomorrow so hopefully all is well w/ me as well as my growing baby boy. The doctor said that all appears fine and that the baby is healthy. I just can't wait for my 4-D ultrasound, then I'll have an even better idea of what my lil man looks like :o)
well ladies, I leave on this note:

Well mommies, mommies-to-be, and TTCs, as always, I figured it was time to do an update, once again. I'm so horrible at keeping my page up. Anyway, its about that time. I can not believe how quickly the time has gone by. Some days it feels like its been FOREVER and then other days, it seems like time has passed me by. All in all, im officially couting down now (17 days!!!) I am on maternity leave right now so Ive been 'nesting' as they say, or at least thats what my mother keeps telling me. Im tired of cleaning and washing clothes, I don't know what else to do now, other than pack my bag (I've been procrastinating when it comes to packing that thing, I dont know what to put in it). Guess I should get that done soon too. So now I'm down to visiting the doctor weekly and last Monday he said that I was dilated (1.0 cm-1.5 cm, not enough to me) but now I feel like I haven't had any contractions since then or any signs of this child wanting to be born. I do not feel as though I have dropped and I know walking is supposed to help, it just makes my feet and ankles swell up! Not a good look. . .LOL With all the birthdays coming up this month in my family, Im pretty sure someone will end up sharing a birthday with him. My bfs birthday is May 4th, my brother's is May 11th, my birthday is the 12th, my nephew is the 20th, not to mention Mother's Day and my older brother and his wife's anniversary is this month too. Whew! I didnt realize how busy this month will be. I'm trying to let nature take its course but OMG! Im tired of being pregnant at this point. Oh well, no other choice but to sit back and let him/my body decide when that time will be.
Congrats to all the new mommies, and Good Luck to all those TTC (blowing plenty of baby dust your way)
