Well We found out were having another baby and let me tell you I was VERY surprised! We have a 3 yr old boy named Michael and a 1 yr old boy named Nathan.

APRIL 8TH
I am feeling a bit more happy about this pregnancy. My fiancai seems to be a bit more happy about it altho he still whines when I ask him to feel my belly. My In laws are also being a bit more supportive, I Have been feeling movements from the baby which now makes it feel a bit more really. I still hate the fact I have to wait till May 2nd to find out the sex of the baby, But Ill work on my patience.. Still praying for a baby girl. I need my little princess and my boys need a little sister :)
APRIL 25TH
Well Im officially excited about having another baby, I knew I would be... I think the pregnancy just had to click into my head ...Now Im like whoa, This is actually happening!. Ive been feeling lots of movement now and I can definitly feel the babys in there My kids are getting excited about being a big brother and My fiancai is showing more affection towards my stomach and falls asleep everynight with his hand on my tummy just waiting to feel a kick ( he hasnt felt the baby move yet) I cant wait to see the look on his face when he feels the first real kick. I also cant wait for my 3 yr old to be able to feel the baby move too. I STILL want a little baby girl, Still have the the name Emma-Lee picked out. I call the baby a she and her and even my fiancai is starting to refer to the baby as a her which makes me really happy. Im preparing myself for when they say " its a boy" I will try not to cry, I will be disapointed because this whole pregnancy I have been keeping my hopes up and I just have the biggest feeling they will say its a boy just because I want it to be a girl. Then again I have the biggest feeling its a girl because my pregnancies with my boys were VERY similar and this time around its %100 differnt. Exactly ONE week now till I find out if its a boy or can... I know the next 6 days are going to go by very very slow haha.... Just keep marking down the days on my calender.
May 1st
Just got back from my prenatal appointment. Im still measuring at 20 weeks even tho I feel Im further along. The babys heartrate is 148 and I was hoping it would be higher as a good sign its a girl. The baby doc told me however thats the lowest the heartrate has been since Ive been pregnant. I only gained 4 pounds in the last 2 months which is odd because I barely eat and when I do eat its alot of crap and junk food. Either then that everything is just fine with the baby. I am SO scared about tomorrow... my ultrasound. Forever now I had the biggest feeling its a girl... And now I have a feeling its a boy :(
MAY 2ND!!!!
Well we had a good visit with the ultrasound visit either then lil terrors being mean to my kids and their parents doing absolutly nothing about it. We didnt have to wait too long to get seen. I drank about 3 bottles of water with in 2 hours of the appt boy did I ever have to pee! I couldnt stand properly or lay down all the way and relax!!! I asked the u/s tech if my fiancai and I could guess what the sex is and she said ohhhh you can try!!! So we tried!.... Unfortunatly, I had no idea what the heck I was looking at! She asked If I have an Idea what it is and I said " Honestly, I think its a boy " ( just because i wanted a girl so bad i thought the chances were going to work against me"
and she said ...." NOPE... I dont think so!... Im not seeing any boy parts" and she looked at me and smiled and said its a girl and I immediatly started smiling to the point the muscles in my face hurt but I still kept smiled and shed a few tears.
I cant believe Im finally getting my little girl! I think I may still get a 3d ultrasound done to see JUST IN CASE!!! lol... but until then... Welcome to the Family Emma-Lee Rose Lynn.... we cannot wait to see you!!!
May 18th
So I just wanted to give a lil update on how things are going. Everythings great :) Baby girl is moving ALOT and I have to admit, It is getting a little annoying at times because she moves like crazy. Its now to the point my hubby and kids can feel the baby, and see the baby move with lil waves and twitches here and there. But it sure is an amazing feeling to know she is in there and well. We all very excited about having a girl in the house either then mommy, however daddy isnt liking the idea of girl toys being everywhere lol. I have yet to buy something for her but next weekend were getting an adorable stork craft sleigh crib! I cant wait!
June 4th
Had my first OB appointment today and it was horrible. Im still crying over it, Ive never been so disapointed in any of my pregancies,I ve waited 6 whole months for this one apointment only to be completly disapointed. he totally rushed the appt, didnt answer any of my questions, Didnt give me any info on the baby. Everytime my hubby asked him a question or went to say something the doc completly ignored him or cut him off. i told him I when I measure myself at home Im measuring 29 weeks not 25 and he measured me but didnt tell me the measurements. I told him Ive been bleeding and having leakage and he didnt even request to send me for an ultrasound to make sure everything was ok. And on top of that, When the doc left the office I started crying and my hubby got mad at me of r' getting upset over nothing' This really upsets me because I just want to know more about the baby and whats going on and I always wait so long for these appointments not to even find out anything. Only thing I found out is that Im now 193 pounds :( He said everything still points to it being a female, and when he listened to her heartbeat it was jumping between 126-146, Im going to look up some info on the net about getting another 2nd ultrasound instead of paying so much for a 3d because with us looking for a place to move in 2 months we really cant afford it.
July 2nd.
29 weeks
Just got back from my 2nd appointment and I was getting ready to have a chat with the doctor about how disapointment the last apppointment was, I even had everything written on paper. But surprisingly... He was so much better this time, Answered all my question, and he even answered some of my questions with out me even having to ask, This appointment was much better then last time :) So little Emma-Lee is measuring at 29 and a half:) her heart rate was 133... and she about weighs 3 pounds. Her head was positioned downwards, back curled to the side, legs to the left, that explains why I feel a crap load of hard kicks on my side just below my ribs. I told the doctor that i really want another ultrasound just to see the baby and he explained that he cant with out any concerns or anything but he did say that we will talk about sending you for an ultrasound next appointment july 22nd :)

When is your next appointment? I'm really curious as to what your doc says. I had someone respond to me saying her doctor thought it was a great idea. I hope mine is the same. I really started questioning why things are done after our governor tried to get guardasil mandatory for all Texas girls age 12.

We live in Florida 2 hours from Disney so it is something we will do maybe once a year if we can afford to. I am not a huge fan, but the kids like it. I got out of going on a lot of the rides that would make me sick because I am pregnant and my 2 yr old could go on them.
My husband gets mad at me if I ask him for a drag in public. He hates it when people stare at me for smoking. He doesn't have a problem with me doing it as we have been each others smoking buddys for the last 17 years, but he hates the looks we get. I work at an insurance office and there are a lot of nurses that work here that I would never hear the end of it if I was out on break smoking, so I figured I could just give it up at work and enjoy it at home. So far it has worked for me. But by the time I am driving home I am dying for one. My husband comes out of the house every night with one for me to have before we go in. He is a good man :-)

You are soo funny! When we were at Disney for 4 days I would smoke with my husband in the smoking areas of the park and you should have seen the looks I got from all those families in Magic kindom. You would think they were going to stone me :-) That is why I only smoke at home and only my parents and husband know I am still smoking. I just can't take the judging. I had no problem quitting with my others, but I think you are right. The stress of having two already and working full time and another on the way, if you are a smoker anyway, you need that stress reliever.

Thanks for letting me know I am not alone. Like you When my kids 5 and 2 are freaking me out. I need that. I still smoke Lights and I do smoke the whole cigarette, but like I said I don't smoke all day until I get home around 5:30. So I figure that I go about 19-20 hours without one and then have 2-3 in the evening. CAn't be that bad. My Mom smoked 1 pack per day her entire pregnancy with my brother and sister and they have not one health problem and they weren't even under weight.

I think you should go to the ER. If the doc is not in. It does not sound right. The extreme thirst could be GD but rest of it sounds like your blood pressure, you need to get checked out ASAP. Good luck

hey just to let you no i'm haveing a girl to fiund out yesturday, but ild also like another scan just to prove it lol, i thought i seen what looked like the girly part and she said she couldnt see any boys parts so she's saying a girl, but they carnt say for 100% which i can understand with cause if she gets it wrong and she said ow its 1000% a girl she could get it trouble for it. But i do understand what you mean about a second u/s, how's thing's with you ? xxx

I have read your MIL prob. I dont want anyone in the room with me but my hubby. I love my step MIL to death but still she is not going to be anywhere near my room. My mother and i do not get along and i probably wont tell her the baby is here til we are back home. Sad isnt it. Anyways it is your decision not you fiance, you are the one who has to go through this whole experience, not them. My hubby supports my decision and agrees with me on the topic. I really hope things get better. And you are not alone there are a bunch of people on here who support you.

Hey saw your comment about your mother in law. Whats up with these women thinking they should be there while a baby is born? I dont get it. Its your vagina shes gonna see the whole time and then baby at the end so she might as well come when its finaly born! Doesnt she understand, and your hubby that its your body that matters? Its you going to be in pain! If my mother in law wanted to be there i would tell her to go do herself! I love her, but excuse me she isnt gonna see me in pain and naked!!! I cant beleive your man is so selfish about it! Ask him if he would want your mom to see him naked giving birth! Im sorry i dont mean to sound mean, but girl keep your stand cuz she will piss you off during labor! I was so irritated when diffrent nurses came in when i was in labor! I could of killed them and to think im a very nice person otherwise! lol...Good Luck! Hows pregnancy going?

I do not envy your situation with your mil. Mine was the same way with my first. Unplanned events led to a ceserean and I was relieved. Your hubby needs to understand that this is your time. YOU are bringing a life into this world and it will be something you never forget. If you are upset cuz there are certain, controllable factors that are not how you planned them, your labor could delay. Plus, she had her babies. This is your turn. Our generation is not so eager to have an audience watching the second most intimate process in life. This was a big thing for our moms and they need to understand that we are simply more modest. Let her know that you are happy to have her waiting outside the door and visit soon-ish after delivery but you really want this to be you and your man. That is how it all started. That seems like the natural way it should be. Good luck. Since we are a planned c/s this time mil wants to take off the whole week after the baby arrives to be at our house. My husband will be off work already and my mom as well. I have a feeling we are gonna hole up in our room with the baby and our son and they will hang out in the living room the whole week. Ha ha ha. At least that is how my dreams all play out. BTW, I love the name! we like Ella Lee but I think are going with Briella lee so it is slightly less common. But Emma is super cute. Love it.

come on your so young you can get all that stuff if you work at it. i've just spent the last 5 years only working though & i wouldnt recommend it. 70 hours a week at work then marketing degree in the evenings wrote 50,000 words over 2 years & i'm dyslexic, then i would go to gym everyother night or run for an hour. glad thats all over with although i am now trying to think up a viable business i can run from home whilst i'm having children. mommyrock - Thursday, 5 June
I took my message off because no one cares to read my earlier message that said there are certain circumstances that would actually be dangerous for me to take the drink. The other dr. I see who deals in alternative medicine has been trying to get my liver functioning properly so I can carry this baby to term. We got everything to where it needs to be and I haven't had anymore bleeding or problems once we got my body working where it needs to. He tested me on Monday for GD and I was negative. The glucose drink will hurt my liver and send me back to the issues I've been going through where I almost lost the baby because it wasn't detoxifying my body and her placenta couldn't filter it all. I want this baby more than anything and for people to call me selfish without knowing what is going on is ridiculous. I would be selfish by not getting informed and saying whatever and throw my liver back into malfunction.

Hi hun, sorry to hear about your bad appointment. Is there any chance for you to get another OB and get another scheduled appointment soon? I feel so sorry for you. OBs like those should be reported. It's stressful enough that we have to think everything's wrong with us. I hope you remain strong and get through this sweetie. Take care and be safe.
