Hi Everyone,

I am Rebecca,I was 23 weeks when this photo was taken, I am almost 27 weeks pregnant now with non identical twin girls, I have been reading eveyone posts, I wish you all luck, this is my first pregnancy, I had such bad sickness in the begining I was convinced the toilet was my best friend lol, but luckly that has all stopped now, I got my first sign of strech marks this week, I was a little upset, but in another way it shows my little girls are growing, has anyone had any intresting cravings? I haven't had any :(

12th April 2008

Well I am almost 29 weeks and I finished work on friday, I can not say how happy I am to finally be able to put my feet up and let my little girls grow, I am going for a 4d scan today and cannot wait, I have no idea what to expect, but I love having the scans just to know they are doing well, I have been booked in for a planned C-Section at 38 weeks (June the 18th) providing they don't come early, I can't wait to be holding my little girls and to see my husbands face when they arrive, I hope everyone else is doing good and hope you are all in good health.

10th May 2008,

I was admitted to the labour ward, due to experiencing contractions, I was examined and it was decided to give me the steroid injections to help develop my little girls lungs, also I was put on a drip to stop the contractions which was sucessful and I was realeased 4 days later and told to rest.

20th May 2008

Went to see my midwife and my blood pressure had gone up also started to experience mild pains again, hospital was contacted and they decided I needed to go in just to be check over, I was given another scan, and it showed both babies fluid has dropped to 2cm at the deepest, they fluid had gone from normal to 2cm in one week, also had a growth scan done and both babies at 34+1 day are weighing in at around 5lb each, which is great, they asked me to return one week later just for a check up and was told not to worry about the Fluid which is easier said than done.

27th May

Went back to the hospital to have a check up babies are both doing well, I did get to see the doctor and voiced my fear about them having low fluid and that I had been worrying all week, they said that my water may have broken and this would explain why they had dropped, but they still a some fluid, they decieded to do another scan and it showed that the fluid levels have gone up slightley but are still low, and have now decieded to bring my C-Section forward by a weeks so I will now get to meet my little girls in 2weeks time I can't wait, also I have another growth scan next tues and have to be monitered twice a week now.

3rd June,

36 Weeks and 1 Day

Just returned from the hospital, and had my final growth scan. Twin A is weighing in at 5lb 11oz and Twin B is 6lb 7oz, both are breech, fluid is still low around them both, but the doctor said it wasn't anything to worry about, I am back at the hospital on friday for another doppler scan and fetal monitering, I have recived confirmation that my C-Section with take place on June the 12th, I can't wait to meet my little girls.

Thanks fo rthe suggestion! I was wondering if feeding together was better. Someone actuall told me they fed seperately and I was thinking man you must feed babies all day!

Oh my it does go by fast! How is everything honestly? Is there alot of times you feel overwhelmed at all? I am just picturing both screaming inconsolable babies in my lap trying to deal!!! I am sure it all comes naturally but it is hard to imagine!

Hi I got the Leebruss Premier Twin as my main pram - its huge tho and we have to keep it in the garage. I got the You 2 Twin from Cossatto as my stroller in the sugar and spice design - fab buggy as it fits through most doorways and fits in the car boot lovley.

Pleased the girls are getting in a routine - it takes time and is hard work but its worth it. My 2 are going to about 6-7am all depending on how they feel ha.

Are you getting much help off family?
