Hi, my name is Quanese, but friends call me Qweet. I am 21 and pregnant with my first child. This wasn't planned nor prevented but Im excited just the same. My boyfriend of 6 months on June 20th is 25. This is also his first child. While he is hoping for a boy, I am praying for a girl (we do not need a John the 5th). I graduated back in 2005 and did some online classes but stopped. I have been contemplating lately about going back, but I barely have enough time in the day as it is. But we'll see. I work for a bank 8-5 and then lay around from 5-10pm until I go to bed. Hopefully, things will get better and things will speed right alone because I really want too know what Im having so that the fun can begin (SHOPPING).

Monday, 9 June it is very hard to let go of things that we feel connected to....many times it is not the person, but the way we felt when we were with them or the very thought of what life COULD be like with them...you know, the grass is greener on the other side of the fence! I dream, atleast 4 times a year , with my first true love...and I was 17-19 yrs old back then..I am 38 now! ( Yeah- I am old!) I love my husband now, but after 14 yrs of marriage, life kinda kicks your butt. It is easy to think of a time it was better or that life was easier for us. A baby is great, but it is also stressful. You need peace....you can write him a letter and then burn it....I have done that, it helps you to "say" your feelings....I just worry about you talking to him....you have a baby on the way and that baby does deserve a chance to be with and near his true Dad....keep in touch and hang in there! It isn't easy!!! 907 -
Saturday, 7 June I have dreams like that too. I hate when you dream of exes I always feel guilty and it's not our fault we dream what's in our head! Maybe you didn't get closure from your ex so you're dreaming about him? You know us women, if we don't have complete 100% closure and answers to relationships they haunt us for years. Hang in there, like someone else said, there probably is a reason he's an ex and we're so much more sensitive right now! :) Take care of yourself! mommy2816 -
Friday, 6 June Hello and Congrats! I'm also in week 11! I was wondering where you got your Bundle of Joy ticker...It's cute! NYteacher93 -
Friday, 6 June Wow..that is deep. You know, I think alot of that dream has to do with the fact that a baby will pretty much mean the end of many things and the start of many others.....the hope of something starting back with the Ex may no longer be a possibility with a baby on the way. It is like your dream was a mourning process...it comes from alot of anxiety and the unknown of what this type of change will bring. Maybe it is time to process your feelings for the Ex and make some closure to it all...Take care! mommy2b1208 -

Wednesday, 21 May Yeah, I'm attributing all of my feelings to this stage of the pregnancy and how I'm feeling. He's all hyped up about planning a wedding in Vegas and I really couldn't give a crap to be honest....poor guy!! Michelle78 -

Tuesday, 20 May Prenatal vitamins are vital to the well being of both yourself and the baby. Neural defects such as spina bifida can be prevented with the folic acid in prenatals. I'm taking Duet-DHA which has been perscribed by my doctor. It comes with 2 capsules, one prenatal and one omega-3. Omega 3 is essential for the baby's brain development, retina and nervous system. You can also supplement your diet with fish and certain seeds , spinach, broccoli and seeds. Further, it helps prevent post partum depression, preeclampsia and preterm labor. If you're having a hard time with nausea, try taking them in the evening with a small meal. I'm not really so sure about the Flinstone vitamins. I suppose they're better than nothing but, they're geared for children's nutritional needs which is very different from the needs of a pregnant woman. If that's truly all you can stomach, then I would supplement my meals with ample fruits, vegetables, fish, whole grains and cereals to make sure you're getting all the nutrients necessary to support your body's demands. Best of luck to you! *$MilianasMama$* -
Saturday, 17 May Prenatal vitamins are extra nutrients for you and the baby, they are not to fatten the baby up but you are supplying for 2 and you need the adequate amount so you can give them to your baby and also stay healthy yourself. I know of girls who have have severe mouth problems or loos of teeth because they didn't have enough calcium and vitamin d in their diet. The baby takes all of that from you in order to grow properly. your baby will be born the size it is supposed to be just don't over eat choose healthy foods and excercise everyday, walking is the best advice i can give you, i wish i did with my first pregnancy. my daughter probably wouldn't have been born late if i walked. if prenatals make you sick try the cvs brand, to me they have been much better than what i took the last pregnancy, they don't make me feel awful and if you really can't take prenatals cuz they make you really sick the doctor will probably tell you to atleast take some flinstones. but i think prenatals are better cuz you need alot of folic acid right now especially in the beginning. I hope this helped you with getting the answer you were looking for. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
