Hell everyone, I am 7 weeks pregnant and extremely scared to lose this pregnancy as we miscarried last December at 9 weeks. I am a pediatric RN who has been trying to get prego for 3 years and I have my first appt on 03/11/08 which will be my 9th week, so of course I am freaking out a little bit. My BB `s have been tender on and off. Is this normal? I read somewhere that they are supposed to increase in tenderness, but they really haven't changed too much in the last 2 weeks. I have been one of the lucky ones to not have any MS. I feel a lot different than I did last time. I have not been spotting or cramping at all, luckily. I am seeing a new OB/GYN this time around and am really hoping that he is good as I did not really get along with my last one.I am continuing to keep as optimistic as my husband wants me to. I am very lucky. He is so excited about this pregnancy and knows that this one is THE ONE!!! Well, if anyone wants to talk, I am a good listener and would love to hear from you.

We went to the Dr. today and the heart beat is 157. We are thrilled. We could see the little arms. Very Cool. The new Dr. is great. He spent a lot of time with us answering questions. I am just so excited that this pregnancy is going well. Best wishes to everyone!!!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hello RNmomma.. Congrats on your pregnancy. I read your comment about japanese perm. I was wondering wht the outcome was. I want to do it too but I,m afraid like your husband is tht some of the chemicals will zip into my skull skin and hurt the baby, and plus my husband doesnt want me to do it because of the same reason.

I'm glad everything is going great for you, too. My next appointment is on the 24th. I'll keep you updated, too.

i wish u all the best. i, too had a miscarriage shortly before we conceived this time. i worried about every little pain and discomfort. scared i would lose this baby as well. i STILL worry at 28 wks that something will go wrong or that he will come early. i have had a very difficult time this pg, but am tryin to stay positive and pray all the time for everything to be ok. and my baby is growing and doing wonderful. this is a great support group of caring women, many going through the same or worse things as you. if you need to vent or have concerns, someone or lotsa someones will help see you through. u take care and keep praying and everything will be just fine this time!

yeah!!! I'm so happy everything is fine. A little piece of mind doesn't hurt after everything we've been through. I have my first U/S in 6 days and can't wait. I'll let you know how it goes when I get back.

How's the cramping doing? As long as there is no blood it is mostlikely ok. When I first found out that I was pregnant, I had a lot of cramping, I though for sure that I was getting my period. If you are really neverous about it, you can go to the ER and tell them that you're worried about having another m/s and they will order the blood work.

hi! congrats!!! i just wanted to let ya know that you're not the only one wondering about this breast tenderness thing. mine seems to change day by day. one day they'll be so sore that i can't even breathe on them, then the next day it's like 'ok, what happened?' but i'm not worried, it just figure it's all teh horomones fluctuating in and out. Good luck! Hope everything goes great for ya!!! if you have any questions or are just hoping to relate to someone, give me a holler. this is my first pregnancy and i've done a TON of reading on pregnancy adn do's adn donts and what normal and not. keep in touch!

Congrats on your pregnancy, best of luck and tons and tons of *sticky dust*. It's so easy from the outside to say don't worry, so I won't. Just try to take it day by day and enjoy every second of it!!

I know what your feeling too. I had a M/C in September at 9 weeks and my first appointment is on March 11th too. I had my doctor order blood work for me to check my HCG levels and my progestrone levels. My progestrone level was only 16 so I'm taking Prometrium to increase my levels. If you're worried about having another M/C I would call your OB and ask them to order you the blood work for peace of mind. If your levels are low now, they can treat you before it's too late.

I know how you are feeling, I lost my first at a little over 8 weeks on December 5th, it was heartbreaking but I thank God everyday for this baby now, I am almost done with week 7 and on to week 8. My husband and I know that this is the one. Just keep praying!!! You are doing great!! Good luck to you and your hubby.

I will say a prayer for you and your precious baby!! It is a scary but exciting time, as I am learning. This is our first one too and I am worried about everything. I heard my baby's heartbeat last week and it was amazing!! I am off work for the rest of the week per drs. orders though...he is running some more tests, but my bb's hurt alot, and I too have had no real MS only nausea. Let us know how your apt goes!
