Thursday, 28 August yah! he's also probably pushing against you, trying to make some room for himself! it may also be that you are having a braxton hick contraction though when you feel your stomach go really hard though. Debra -
Thursday, 28 August spine and bum! that's what you are feeling. Crazy, eh? If you poke your tummy, do you get poked back? Isaac used to poke me back all the time. I think i bugged him a bit too much though

Friday, 22 August Thank you.
Yeah it was a little hard for me to keep down too. I am sure the test will be fine. I hope so. I dont want to go through the 3 hour testing. Plus the lady doesnt have a fricken clue on how to take blood. Everytime she has to take my blood she hurts me so much! She sucks! Oh well. Birth will hurt worse I guess.

Thursday, 21 August If feb 7 was the first day of your last period and you had the typical 28 day cycle, then baby would be conceived on or around day 14 of your cycle- so feb 21. Its pretty hard to know when unless you kept track of when you had sex. I had no idea when we conceived last year either. I like to think he was made on my birthday trip in whistler (feb 10) but i really have no idea. We just think that he was a birthday gift for me and then thats enough for me :) -steppie- -

Wednesday, 20 August Have you heard of the "dunstan baby language"? thats the best thing that i heard of that helped me understand what the baby was saying. "NEH" means hunger/want to eat/suck. "EH" need to burp, upper gas pain. "HEH" means i'm uncomfortable, I want to be picked up. I'm too hot, too cold. "OWEEE" is tired, "EAIRE" is lower/trapped abdominal gas pain. THis is all part of the cry they make and you can hear it clearly if you listen. Sometimes the baby may say several sounds in the same cry, example neh and heh. If the neh (or nay or nnnnn) then take care of the 'neh' part first- ie. let him/her have the boob and then see if they are still making the sounds. That's how they communicate with you anyways. Otherwise, I got a lot of info from the book 'what to expect- the first year'which helped me a lot. I also like the la leche leagues book 'The womanly art of breastfeeding' which helped me a lot with my breastfeeding questions. Gallstones? let me know what happens. My sis-in-law had that. She had surgery but in the mean time, it helped ALOT with the pain to not eat anything greasy or hard to digest. I hope that helps!
