Hello everyone, this page is new to me but I love it. I am pregnant with my second baby. My first is 6 years old from a previous marriage. My hubby and I got married in April of this year and are soooooo excited to find out that our baby is on the way. Baby due 6/7/08 my daughter's birthday is 6/6/01. Funny!! I am from PA, and currently working as a teaching aide mostly because it's the only schedule that works with my daughter's school schedule but after a few weeks of working there I love it, great experience. Anyone with info or advise is welcome to share. Good Luck to everyone with their babies. :-)

Saturday, 10 Nov

So I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and saw a blob with a heart beat, which was great to see the heart beating but a little disconcerning to see a blob instead of anything resembling a baby. Two days ago I had another ultrasound and saw a head, arms, and legs. The little guy was very busy in there and looked to be doing the cha-cha. It was so amazing! The doctor said he doesn't measure the heart rate yet just checks to be sure that it's strong. I would kind of like to know how fast it is but probably next visit. I don't know why it's such a big deal to let me know but who cares for now everything looks perfect.

Monday, 10 Dec

Had my 14 week check up today and hear the little one's heart beat. I've seen it on the ultrasounds eariler but never heard it. Was amazing! About 150 BPM. Little one growing well, so am I! LOL Gained 4 pounds to my suprise, I thought I only gained 1 or 2 but not complaining. I wanted to set up the 20 week ultrasound for next month to find out what it is. I can't stant this suspense, I'm not good with suprises at all. Well anyway the Dr. said he thought the next scan would be around 28 WEEKS since everything looked good on the last two ultrasounds. I am trying to talk my husband into a 3D scan. He agreed but didn't exactly let me know it's ok to call to make the appt for Jan yet. Oh well if that's the least of my worries I am one lucky mommie! Oh and I've been feeling the little flutters the past few days also. I mentioned that to the Dr. and he said of course it's possible considering it's my second and I am a fairly thin person!

Had our 18 week ultrasound today was sooooo amazing! Saw our little one getting in trouble, the tech wanted to take pictures of the head and face and she wouldn't put her little hands down away from her face. The ultrasound tech then shook my belly to try to get her to move. That worked for like 30 seconds then she put them right back in front of her face. I personally am SHOCKED that it's a girl. I thought for sure this baby was a boy. I think I am still trying to let it sink in. We are very happy and blessed to have a healthy and beautiful baby girl on her way.

March 20, 2008- Went for my first steriod shot today, just in case Morgan comes early like her sister did. That freakin thing hurt and burned for like a hour afterward. The best part is... I go back tomorrow for another one : ( . Lil Morgan is doing great though, her last ultrasound she weighed in at 2 pounds 11 ounces at 27weeks. We have our 3D/4D scheduled for 4/3/08 and we can't wait to see what she looks like. I feel like we are cheating, looking in on her and all. Her nursery is coming along but still needs to be painted and have the boarder put up. The shower is 4/5/08 so guess we should get busy before the shower.

Quick update since it's been quite a while. Morgan was born at 37 weeks and very healthy. It was so amazing even though I have an older daughter the experience was beyond words. She's now 3 1/2 months old and such a good happy baby. No colic, very little fussiness, and content. I just hope she stays this way all the way to adulthood. Wishful thinking :)
When Morgan was one week old dear hubby decided to bail out. He said he just wasn't happy. I don't consider myself to be the type of person to ignore the obvious however I didn't see this coming and just thought he was having trouble adjusting to parenthood since this is his first child. (my first daughter is from a previous marriage although Joe has been in her life since she was 2). Anyway Joe filed for divorce when Morgan was 10 DAYS old and I emotionally couldn't take everything so I moved out taking my two daughters with me. That has pretty much been the end of Joe. I now live with my parents and am trying to move on. Joe has disappeared from our life. He sold our marital home, our cars, changed banks and simply moved on. His decision to remain out of our daughter's life has been the toughest part considering Joe wanted a baby so badly and now that's she's here he's gone. I love love love and adore this little girl! I look forward to raising her under any circumstance. My heart just breaks because she's just an innocent victim of a selfish man's stupid decisions. I'm lucky to have a strong family and wonderful parents and brothers to be positive role models for Morgan. I just hope she grows up to be happy and never feel that she was rejected because of a fool's actions. I will make sure that she will always know how much she is loved and how special she's made my life. I am a mom and that's what mom's do.

Hi! I had posted a very similar question about breastfeeding with implants about a week ago. It scared me because the only response I got was, "Now I know why people wait until after having kids to get implants." So please, please, please let me know if you get any more information because I am pretty worried that mine will be ruined:(

Mommy2boys - Monday, 5 May
OMG! Thank you sooo much for the sweet comment on the nursery. It makes all the hard work seem worth it. Thank you!

melliebellie - Monday, 5 May
your nursery looks great! ours is similar. : ) purple and green butterflies and flowers. so we'd be in a similar situation if it's not a girl. plus all the clothes and other girly things we have! can you imagine? that would be quite a shock! that u/s tech better have been right! ; )

I don't have implants, but read one mom in my weeks account, she said hers were under the muscle too and that for the first couple weeks after she stopped breast feeding (i think she fed for 6 months) she said her breeasts looked deflated and saggy for about 2-4 weeks, and then returned to their former glory. So maybe it has to do with how well your body copes period, as I have heard moms w/o implants say the same thing about boob recovery. I know this is all hearsay, and if I can find the woman who said that I will give you her name... But hope this helps!

newmommac - Friday, 2 May

lilgracie - Friday, 2 May
Seriously?! You can get varicose veins down there?! Pregnancy is no longer a magical, wonderful experience.

Hi...I was just reading one of your posts from someone else's page, and when I came on your profile I saw your beautiful picture from your wedding on Cocoa Beach. Do you live near there? I live in Deltona, and my husband and I got married on Cocoa Beach also 4/29/06. Congratulations on your pregnancy and good luck!!

MyLilAidan - Tuesday, 29 April
i will be filing a report if it happens again. Its such a small environment here that they are everywhere i turn, so for the next 3 weeks i just want to be left alone! They are just trailertrash kinda men... there are good ones here that stick up for me and really care about how i feel.. they make up for the idiots!

Khover42 - Tuesday, 29 April
Trust me, I complain twice as much! LOL! I am immensely lucky in that my husband is a stay-at-home dad who practically forces me to stay off my feet anytime he thinks I'm over-doing it. As far as the rest, my feet swelling has moved up to my knees, and I have a strange thing happening where I'm retaining water in the lower part of my belly too. Terrible back aches, and I can barely make it out of bed 4+ times a night to go pee. Everytime I swear it's a 20 minute fiasco! I think the only thing that helps is knowing how well the babies are doing in there, and that having done this twice before (with singletons of course) I know what to expect at the birth. Is it strange that I'm not nervous at all? I'm actually looking forward to going into labor naturally. (I was induced with both my prior pregnancies.)

nylaray1 - Tuesday, 29 April
Hi Rabekah, I've been experiencing the same pressure feeling. I get a little relief if lying down when standing or if I sand after lying down. Most of my sharp pains run through my vagina. I told my mom it feels like a bookshelf holding up heavy books :) I don't see the Dr. until Wed, and I'm not sure if he'll be doing a vag exam, but I'm defiantly going to let him know.

awww! its so hard to find bathing suits for smaller than 6 months. it sucks! yeah, im totally going to put my 6 month old in a bathing suit around november hah. i found one semi cute one but it was 45 dollars! ummm no. hah

Krysti - Tuesday, 29 April
Nope. Not confused at all! I appreciate the info!

Krysti - Tuesday, 29 April
Thanks for the info! When your dr. checked for dialation...did it hurt? I've heard horror stories.

Krysti - Tuesday, 29 April
thanks for the info. Im not sure what the GB testing is that everyone is talking about..What is it?

janessa - Monday, 28 April
Ohh and as of today he weighs 6 pounds 1 ounce which a c section date of May 30th

janessa - Monday, 28 April
When I got my u/s done they measured him. I'm not sure how they get the weigh from that but Thats the weight the tech said. I am also on bedrest which maked it easler for the little one to gain weight like he is.

katiemom - Monday, 28 April
man, this pregnancy thing is sooo not what everyone said it would be, huh? I'm glad you know for sure now, i don't have any varicose veins in the front (yet), but i've been dealing with them around back since about month 6, and i'm a little sad about that part of me never looking quite the same! Good luck! Thanks for keeping me updated ;o)

christy33 - Monday, 28 April
The u/s tech said he was measuring big! She even asked if my other boys were big. Plus she said that the 5lb 5oz is give or take 13oz. She definitely didn't think he would be more than the 5lb 5oz, but could be a little less! I think your just fine:]

ll bree ll - Monday, 28 April
i havent gotten my hair done since january, so maybe its just faded? sun brings out other colors too. bleh. it was sooooo hot yesterday! lol

janessa - Monday, 28 April
Just wanted to say hello and see how you are holding up.

thx4grace - Sunday, 27 April
:O)

katiemom - Sunday, 27 April
you can get varicose veins there too...my mom just told me that she dealt with them in that area when she was pregnant with me. due to all the pressure and weight sitting on your lower half you can get varicose veins everywhere. it's normal, but maybe you should mention it to you doctor next time you have an appointment, just to make sure that's what they are. good luck!

ll bree ll - Friday, 25 April
haha!! omg you crack me up! seriously, that is pretty rediculous. no hes not the dick. i switched from the dick at 20 weeks. this one is sooo nice, but hes SOOOOOOOOOO stupid!! chances of me having him in labor are veryyy slim. hes only on call on wednesdays. and on wednesdays only til like 4pm. i hope i wont need a csection tho. i dont want HIM to cut me open. so i guess from now on im my own doctor? that and all you ladies! lol. when i told my mom it was stinging she said that it was dilation pains, and my gut is kind of thinking that too. but oh well. she comes when she comes.
