Hello,

So I decided that this site would be great for me so that I know im not the only mom to be with soo many aches and pains!!! Im 22, A little younger than I wanted to be to have my first baby. My fiance is a bit older and we are soo excited to be parents. We already have an 8 month old chocolate lab pup who keeps us busy and honestly has prepared us more than we know for parent hood.

On Feb 8th we find out the sex of the baby and get to have an ultrasound for the first time. We heard the heartbeat 2 weeks ago and it was 150bpm. That by far was one of the most exciting things to hear.

Well I look forward to chatting with all the other mommies to be:)

Jan 18th- Went to the doctor today!!! We heard the heartbeat was 144. Was weighed, gained another 4 pounds so have gained a total of 7 pounds so far. Not too bad!!!! Im feeling pretty good lately, besides from the lower back pain, headaches, and some dizziness. They decided to do a surprise ultra sound for me considering the doctor was booked the next 3 weeks. We saw the baby and it look perfect, when I figure out how to use my new scanner I will get the pics up! So we also found out we are having a girl! She was moving so much I was scared the tech was going to give up but she kept going and the baby finally flipped upside down and we saw the 3 lines!!!! I was surprised at first because everyone was trying to tell me it was a boy but from the start I knew it was a girl! So her name will be Alexa Pearl Herrick. We couldnt be happier. She was measuring 6oz 6 inches long. Now I Just wish June would come now!!

April 9th.

I Just wanted to let any moms know what I do for work. I was working as a part time nanny, Well I actually still do but this is my last month! I also work for a company called Arbonne International. I can relate on the 60lbs. That's how much I gained and on top of that I had to have a c-section cuz i wouldn't dilate more than 3cm. I can't fit into any of my clothes! I can't wait to hit the gym. What I hate is that I'll be going back to work on the 18th of July! Who know what size I'll be. I've already lost 2 pant sizes but still need alot more to go!

It kinda scared me cuz I've never had it happen before and this is my 4th child. I mean I soaked a pad in around 2 minutes or less. Was still bleeding when I got to the bathroom, and then a clot fell out. But since then it is the same normal flow as before. I guess I just gotta take it easy.

It's only been 5days girl, give your self a break! I know it sucks after losing your body for nine months you just want it back! and it takes forever it seems. I had a lot of fluid retention AFTER my baby was born. My a$$ got bigger, I swear! and so did my thighs. It took two weeks before I could get my rings on and now my daughter is almost a month old and everything seems to be shrinking down too. Congratulations on your little one by the way.

Hey there, I saw your comment on the 0 months forum & just wanted you to know I'm totally there w/ ya w/ being depressed about weight gain. I certainly wasn't a size 2 pre-pregnancy, but I watched what I ate & exercised regularly, and now I have this jiggly belly & it's sooooo depressing. I'm still in maternity clothes too. Wish I had some words of wisdom -- guess I don't -- just wanted you to know I can feel your pain!

My doctor put me on the pill 2 weeks after I had Kori Mae. He said it will get everything back to normal. He said they like to get things back to normal as soon as possible.

LOL nope.. I walked on my treadmill this morning to try and thin my cervix out more. My next apt. is on Wednesday so hopefully he will say I've made some change. My mom gets in on Tuesday morning so I have to hold out at least until then. HOw are things going at home with little Alexa? She is so cute! Is your BP back to normal now? I know after both my girls I would have high BP for a few weeks until my body went back to normal.

That is to funny... I am realy curious to see how big Marissa is going to be, the Dr said around 8lb's! Not to much longer and we will find out! I didn't buy any premies and honestly I didn't really get much newborn either... i guess we will see how it works out and go from there. I am sure if she needs anything we will have lots of volunteers to go get something... especially my mom!

yes i tried karo syrup and suppositories and the syrup never worked at all the suppositories only worked at first now they dont no im not breastfeeding he's on a formula for permature babies and the dr said it's because of the iron but theres gotta be something they can do or give him right. he cant go on like this much longer.other then that he is a good baby hardly never cries.(knock wood) how is yours, is she a good baby,i know what you mean about growing up to fast sence this is my last i want him to stay little for a long time, but we cant stop the clock can we, thats probley why we cry.me i can cry at the drop of a hat, at stuped stuff to some time i feel like i should get ahold of my self but i cant help it my hormones are still rageing.

This whole pregnancy and delivery thing is so wrapped up in hormones. I'm sure the change in your hormones is causing all your crazy emotions, highs and lows. They do grow fast, don't blink! But, things will be okay, don't over analyze things :) Just enjoy all the snuggles and give her tons of kisses ;)

My son has reflux and we are trying some different things to work on it. If your doctor thinks she has it too he might prescribe Zantac. It helped Michael, but after a few weeks we are moving to a stronger medicine that might take the problem away. We also started using Enfamil AR because the milk is thicker it is harder for them to spit up.

Hubby works out of town sometimes so that can be hard. I'm taking the primrose oil capsules...hopefully that helps, I've heard good things about it. I had to be induced like 4 days after my due date with my first 2! I would have been pregnant for 12 months if they didn't induce me. My daughter was 8-8 and son was 9-5 (broken collarbone) so doc wants to make sure this little linebacker doesn't get too big to fit thru! :) I am squeezing in as much sex as I can at this point ;P

Congrats again. That's what happened to me during my first pregnancy. Once I got the epidural it was like no time at all that I had progressed and pushed for like 45 min and that was it.

sounds good. Hoping it happens sooner then later as she has dropped, pressure pain in the pelvic area, peeing every 5 minutes and BH are back on strong...lets hope.
Just remember to take time and relax....and I really don't think you look like you got hit by a bus...lol.
We just feel that way after!!

Thanks for the labor dust, whooohooo!. Girl you had it rough for real and sounds like it is going to go on for a bit, hopefully things get in some sort of routine for you soon! I will keep ya posted, hoping I am offending someone with my 170 pound 5'2" frame this weekend, lol

luckly for me she sleeps very well. She gets up twice in the night to eat and goes right back to sleep. My son on the other hand use to get up every 3 hours. So i must say her sleeping habits have a wonderful surprise.
