I didnt find out about my being pregnant till April, 7th. I had always had my period on a regular bases and i missed it in March.I thought my lose of period was from stress.(my parents forced me to brakeup with my fiancee). I wasnt sure so i went to the health dept. to see what was wrong. They asked could there be a posibilty i may be preggo. I said i guess. I was to scared to think. So they done a test and well here i am pregnant. This is my first. I'm getting excited now though. LOL. If anyone has any pointers i'd be greatful to them all. I wish everyone a great and healthy pregnancy.
I put this here in memory of my best friends lose. She was due the 14th of Nov. She had a misscariage on Saturday. I wish all the exspecting mothers all the best.

Tuesday, 20 May I am so, so, so sorry to hear of your loss. This has to be a very difficult time for you to go through. If there is anything I can do, or you just want to chat, please message me anytime. ready4mygirl -
Monday, 19 May It is really common to spot in early pregnancy. As long as blood is not bright red, everything is probably okay....at least that is what my obgyn told me. I hope everything turns out okay for you and the baby. I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless:) Lakesha Smith -
Monday, 19 May Ok,if you had rough sex,I was told we have sensitive blood vessels while pregnant,so he probably hit one,it the same as going to the Dr,being checked, only to start some slight bleeding which is normal. But if you don't want to drive yourself crazy,go to the Er,tell them you're pregnant&bleeding, they'll automatically do a u/s! Monday, 19 May oh god i feel really bad for you. I really hope its just 'one of those things' and all is ok with the baby. Let me know how you get on. I'll be thinking of you xxxxx Rach-x -
Monday, 19 May Hi. I was told its quite common to bleed a little bit after sex, as your cervix is quite tender in early pregnancy. If you have any cramping or heavy bleeding i'd see your dr. Hope all goes well for you xx BeBopBaLula -
Sunday, 11 May well, i had a missed m/c meaning that i haven't gone thru it. like i went to my 10 week appt when i was supposed to hear the heartbeat. only to find out the baby stopped growing at 7 wks 4 days. it was a m/c waiting to happen. the day of my D&C (9 days later) was the day that i actually started bleeding and the m/c started. it was very painful. i pray that everything with your baby is fine. i hope my comment wasn't too detailed. its was my experience. your in my prayers. take care....HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! Wednesday, 7 May Of course ~ I'm happy to offer all that I can! As I said, I'll keep you in my prayers, and I really hope all goes well for you :) Brie -
Wednesday, 7 May Thank you so much for your message! I will test again tomorrow and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another positive result :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Tuesday, 6 May I really hope everything is okay. I'll keep you in my prayers ~ maybe the dates are just off....cuz 6 weeks is actually usually the earliest a heartbeat can be detected, so if you really are only 5 wks and a few days, it wouldn't be surprising to see no heartbeat yet.... FirstTimeMommyR -
Tuesday, 6 May Did they find a heartbeat? FirstTimeMommyR -
Thursday, 1 May I'll be excited to hear how it goes :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Thursday, 1 May I'm happy to help however I can ~ I'm so excited for you! Keep me posted and let me know how it goes :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Thursday, 1 May They'll probably draw the blood. You should be far enough along by now to have an abdominal U/S. I was able to have an abdominal U/S at just over 8 weeks. I'm happy to answer any questions I can :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Thursday, 1 May Definitely expect an U/S! By the time you go, your baby should be kicking and waving and somersaulting all around! It'll be so fun to see :) The OB/GYN will probably also do an internal exam (PAP, etc.). If you haven't had bloodwork yet, expect A LOT of that, too.... FirstTimeMommyR -
Wednesday, 30 April Oh my gosh! I had my first scan at 6 weeks. I could never have waited this long! I hope you get to go in soon.... FirstTimeMommyR -
Wednesday, 30 April You haven't had an U/S yet? I'm no doctor, but I would say that your chances would be decent since it seems as though it runs in your family. These days, 1 in 50 couples will carry twins, and genetic tendency increases the chances pretty significantly. When's your first U/S? tmarie -
Wednesday, 30 April I read your post in 11 weeks, and I'm 11 weeks 4 days today, and i have been feeling a pain in my lower left side... it kinda comes and goes- but sometimes it's really uncomfortable. I'm not sure what it could be-- but i've thought about calling the doctor a few times. i just havent yet. FirstTimeMommyR -
Wednesday, 30 April You're very welcome, and thank you for the encouragement ~ maybe we can make each other stop worrying! :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Wednesday, 30 April I'm sure that you will be fine. Try not to worry (so much easier said than done, I know)! All will be wonderful for you ~ believe it and it will be true :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Wednesday, 30 April I totally worry WAY too much, also. Everything makes me nervous; every twinge, every pain, every wave of nausea. I have a little tear near my placenta. It's TINY, and every doctor and U/S tech says it's absolutely harmless, but it's my "fixation" trigger. I worry about it endlessly, even though I know the baby has been doing great, measures bigger than projected, and has a super-strong heartbeat. I've tried to change my outlook, and here's what I've been thinking: Is there a chance, however small, that we could miscarry? Sadly, yes. There's always that chance, even until the very end, and there is nothing we can do about that. BUT...even after the baby is born, there will always be "chances," however small....a chance that the baby will be struck by SIDS, a chance that the baby will fall ill, etc. It's so awful to think about any of those possibilities, but the truth is that all of these things are in the hands of a higher power, and instead of fearing all of the things that "could" happen, it's so much better to focus on what IS happening ~ we are blessed to be pregnant, and some women will never even get the chance to have a BFP. Pregnancy is an incredible miracle, and I'm just trying to enjoy every single second I get and have faith that it will all work out in the end, no matter what. FirstTimeMommyR -
Tuesday, 29 April I used to think I wanted a boy, but now I want either....mostly, I'll just feel really blessed to have a healthy baby, as cliche as it sounds. How about you? FirstTimeMommyR -
Tuesday, 29 April Thanks! I wish you only the best, as well. Keep me posted, and let me know if anything else comes up ~ I'm happy to offer any help I can (although this is my first pregnancy, too, so it's sorta like the blind leading the blind) :) FirstTimeMommyR -
Tuesday, 29 April Hi Raedawn ~ what a pretty name! I'm also in week 11, and I get pulling, cramps, and sometimes even stabby pains in both sides. I've been having it all since the get-go. I also still get mild cramping just down by my uterus sometimes. I've had multiple scans, and everything is just right so far. From your picture, you look to be very small (I am too), and your body is really having to stretch a lot to make room for your little bean. Unless you bleed (like a pretty significant amount), or you are in so much constant pain that you can't stand it, I wouldn't worry too much. cassie83 -
