38 weeks (11 May)

Well I feel absolutely HUGE now - I know I have said this before but I really really do!! My bump is dropping gradually and I am one 5th engaged I was told on Tuesday by my GP and I have been experiencing more "lightening" so hopefully when I see my midwife Monday beans would have moved down a bit more, I have been doing lots of walking to try and encourage our baby. I am so ready to meet our little one now, still have a few final bits to do to the nursey but I think we are just about ready - I have pre washed all the clothes, blankets etc and all our nappies ready to use. It still seems really surreal I just cant believe that in 2 weeks (if beans isnt late) we're be holding him/her in our arms and we will have a whole little person dependent on just us......

What an amazing feeling :o)

34 weeks and 1 day (14th April)

I think my bump has dropped!!! I have completely changed almost over night, I can't do simple things suddenly like put a wash load on without struggling. I have to roll myself out of bed :-D I think babys head is in the process of engaging as my doctor told me last week that baby was right down in my pelvis and if I experience any sharp pains that will be what it is and I have definitly felt sharp shooting pains!! My baby is having a mad five minutes as I am writing this!! ouch hehe

I am counting the weeks/days now. Still have some last minute bits to do and I havent packed my hospital bag yet - need to do this over the next week.

Cant wait to meet our baby!!

Hi I am now 32 weeks and 1 day - 31st March.

I feel huge now, I am counting down the days until I leave work (at the beginning of May) as work is becoming uncomfortable although I am sat down etc I just get so tired in the afternoons and find getting up in the mornings a struggle! But when I get into bed its like a have had a shot of coffee and I am suddenly not tired anymore and then when I eventually do fall asleep I wake up through the night restless or needing the loo... and then the cycle starts again... yawn

My poor little baby doesn't seem to have much room at all to move around my tummy anymore, some days s/he is really quiet - I swear little bean does it to make me worry as the next day s/he'll be pinging around all over the place, I have read several times that babys movements can start to slow down as they run out of room but then you read somewhere else that you should feel a certain amount of kicks a day etc - just to make you worry even more..! I have been told the worrying doesn't stop even after baby has arrived safely - the joys of parenting :-D

My friends and mum are organising my baby shower for 2nd May which I am really looking forward to, a chance to see everyone before bub arrives - I can't wait.

Seeing my GP next Tuesday and midwife 3 weeks after that (i'll be 36 weeks) a bit concerned as we haven't really discussed birthing classes or birth plans yet!!!!!

Anybody taking the time to read this who has any helpful tips on sleeping or preparing for birth please send me a message it would be great to here from you or hear about your experiences...

Week 30 and 6 days

Had check up with midwife all is well, baby is head down and we got the hear the little heart beat which is always nice and so comforting.

I can feel that baby has grown, thumping around my belly now and stretching their little legs out. Bub seems to like bath times now which I love as it takes the weight off you whilst your relaxing :o)

We painted the nursery this week in yellow it look lovely going to put the curtains up this weekend.

9 weeks left - CANT WAIT !!!!!!!

We have now hit the home run! I am 28 weeks and 1 day as I am writing this.

I feel great!! A little huge and clumsy but still loving every minute :o)

We had a 4d scan done on Saturday and it was absolutely amazing, at first baby was laying face down and I had to do alot of jiggling around to get baby to move. When he/she eventually did they insisted on putting both arms in front of their face - typical of our little one, we have to laugh. Eventually they moved their little arms and we have seen the face of our future child - a feeling I cant describe. We were told that our baby weighs 3lbs 3oz already with 12 weeks to go!!!

We can't wait to meet our little one now - still so much to do and prepare!!
