May 4, 2008 Hey all, here are the pics from both baby showers. I have one more to do with my folks at work. Then that's done. I will be happy to be done with showers. Both were tons of fun. This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

Glad to see all the other mommies to be out there.

I read that your baby has colic. Are you breastfeeding? My midwife went over this whole thing about how to treat colic, 1 huge thing was to watch out what your eating, if your eating things that are gassy for you then they will be for baby too. She stays stay away from wheat, meat, dairy, really fatty, and sweets. Also, try drinking a guiness before you breast feed. She said that the beer worked the best, you just have to make sure to nure before you get to that tipsy point. Don't know if this helps but hoping so for your sake!! COnrats on the newbie!

I know i do.. I was sitting there looking at the marshalls throw people shit out on the street. While eating of course! I know your co workers was like what the hell.. I would NOT be workin unless I absolutely had to. Who has the baby when you are at work? And i always wondered how babies get colic. Like what causes it. Imma google it. Hell i got colic and im 26 lmao..lol I cry on the inside when i see all these people at my job..lmao

SO i threw my braids in last night. and me being the rocket scientist that you know I am, done braided my hair when it was wet. And i did it on purpose but damn today.. wooooo chile! I did this mess so tight i can barely move. Hell if i wanted this much torturre i could have paid the africans in the gallery 300 to pull all my baby hairs out.
But i know how to do my own, plus it looks better.
Im so behind in everything. i think im going to buy baby stuff next week. Otherwise shes going to be coming home in that free hospital t shirt! hahaha

I find it hard to get on here as much as I used to... but sometimes I hold her in my lap & at least come on & try to read comments.
Maisie is doing really well. She's a really good baby overall. She has her fussy time from 8-10 pm, but other than that, she's pretty content most of the time. She looks a lot like her dad, and she's totally daddy's little girl. I'm really loving being a mom, even though it's hard sometimes. It's so worth it! Now I'm just dealing w/ the sad reality that I have to go back to work at some point... makes me sooooo sad. :( Wish I could win the lottery so I could stay at home w/ her and spend all day w/ her! LOL

I'm doing good...Not able to sleep at night and it's crazy because I sleep with my A/C and fan on at the same time....I think it's the hormones because I can't sleep with the comforter and I've been cranky as hell! Hey girl. Congrats... I wasn't able to get to a computer. I had my baby girl on 6/9/08 @ 2:15am. She surprised me on 6/8/08 @ 7:30 pm when my water broke. So how's mother hood? Your baby girl is beautiful... I will try to post some pictures and update my page w/ my birth story.

and also, im in the same boat as you right now. if i read one more person who says they lost a bunch of weight and can fit into their regular clothes them im gonna scream! yea ok whatever we had our babies a couple weeks ago, well i want my body back now! its so sad to try on my old jeans that i loved and not even be able to get them up my chunky thighs! ughhhh!

they said shes definitly got thrush and they gave me an Rx to put on it. i have to put it in her mouth then rub it in. i feel so bad! its sick cause i have to scrape the white things off as i do it. kinda makes me gag thinking about it. she doesnt mind it at all though! if someone did that to me i'd definitely be bawling! weirdly enough 9lbs 12oz doesnt feel too heavy. my arm has yet to get sore from carrying her. i think im just so use to it right now.

hey gal how are you, how is the little princess? i am doing fine thanks, im getting bigger i have got that pregnant waddle ting happening, hehe. time is going slow, i keep panicking i dont know whats wrong with me, i keep tinking all isnt going to go well with me, ive never heard any stories about people dying in the labour room but ive heard three now, its horrible, im like why are you telling me, but i say to myself theres nothing you can do so try and be positve, everythings in Gods hand. but other than that everything is going nicely my lil boy kicks non stop. I don't look forward to any of that. But once you kinda get a schedule down it will be better. I just want him out of my ribs and off my pelvic bone. And the only way that is going to happen is if he comes out. My job is pretty much laid back thank god because I know when he gets here I will probably be late everyday. LOL

If I wasn't pregnant I would do the heat and all that. But I am just too tired. I drove today but I probably won't drive tomorrow and then I will drive on Thursday I think.

Girl, I'm about to whoop his butt LOL... So I went to my doc appt right... and he was checking my cervix.. he said its thinner than what it should be right.... he stops look at the ceiling and said I think he just kicked me... pause check again... he said oh no, he's head butting me, that probably has alot to do with you goin into preterm labor! Your so small, he's so big and very very very active!

And stop stressin, the weight will come off b4 u know it! It probably only seems like forever because your worried about it! I'ma need you to get on my sons workout plan... LOL j/k! Girl my niece Kenyha is over here about to drive me crazy!!!! She's in disbelief that I'm havin a baby... so she tries to put on the babys clothes and socks... I'm about to ready to whooper her and put her to sleep. She hasnt sucked on a bottle since she was 10 months and now shes about to be 3 and wanna cry for my son bottle. You know my nerves are bad!
