May 4, 2008 Hey all, here are the pics from both baby showers. I have one more to do with my folks at work. Then that's done. I will be happy to be done with showers. Both were tons of fun. Everyone had such a good time at the one at my house they all want to come back and do something else. We will have a fish fry in a few weeks. Deb

Hey everyone,

This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

Glad to see all the other mommies to be out there.

Hey ladies,I `ve yet to add anything substantial to my page so here goes. Sunday the 24th I will be 6 months. Ryleigh is super active. She loves to kick and do flips. My dad says he enrolled her in gymnastics. Can't wait to meet her.

I wish I had someone to talk to or spend some time with. I feel so lonely, even though I'm not alone. Okay, well you can't really hold much of a conversation with a 3yr old and you sure as hell can't with a newborn. I'm tired of crying too but I can't seem to stop. It'll go on for 3-4hrs sometimes, where I just constantly cry. If this weekend isn't any better, I'll call my doctor on Monday. Thanks!

i was constipated for 11 days after delivery, lmao.....omg it was soooo painful though but kinda humorous (thinking back on it) anyways....first dr. told me try miralax but that didnt work so I got senokot s which they said was ok if im bf'ing and it worked so try that :)

Thanks...I was reading your birth story thinking the same thing. And about the smile. It seems like I waited ages for that smile, and when it came it made my heart smile. Now he smiles all the time. It makes my day, as a matter of fact it makes my life :-) It's amazing that you waited so long to have another child. It's like you are a new mom all over again. Have a great day with your little one.

Thanks 4 the advice...i'll try...i'm just getting sooo impatient! I've got loads of things to do to keep me busy over the next 7 weeks, still gotta go shopping for ALL the baby stuff, as i have been putting it off for too long!

I am home alone with the two kids now. Hubby went back to work full time yesterday and it's actually going really great. My 3yr helps me quite a bit so that's a HUGE relief. I just really wish I had some friends or family around.

BACK FROM DR!!!!!!! MAYBE GOOD NEWS?....not sure if i am happy or disappointed yet! I was a stretchy 3cm last wk, now almost completly effased and 4cm,and she was shocked to see me( 1st girl in her medical practice to b dialted for so long) and she gave me a good sweep, ( but no faith as this is my 2nd one, and she was up there for a few min longer, but hwo knows), I ahve an appoint for Tues, which she claims I wont make, ( I am not getting hopes up I will b there, lol) She is calling hospital to see if oncall DR will induce me at the hospital, in her books I am only 38wk 2 days,a nd u have to be 38 wks 3 days, so if they say yes I should get a call this afternoon with day and time, of induction for this weekend! ( which i will past 38wk 3 day), she said if the dr wont do it, thats on call this weekend or tommorw, she will see me tues and induce me thurs the 26th!!!! YAH at least I know there is an ending, but she swares that this sweep at 4cm and head engaged will put me in long b 4 weekend, I have lost faith and not getting hopes up, ...I know i wont get the call ia m waiting for saying yes dr will do it, and i know sweep will do nothing, having contractions, but they prob meaning nothing:(:(:(:(((:(:
