May 4, 2008 Hey all, here are the pics from both baby showers. I have one more to do with my folks at work. Then that's done. I will be happy to be done with showers. Both were tons of fun. Everyone had such a good time at the one at my house they all want to come back and do something else. We will have a fish fry in a few weeks. Deb

Hey everyone,

This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

Glad to see all the other mommies to be out there.

Hey ladies,I `ve yet to add anything substantial to my page so here goes. Sunday the 24th I will be 6 months. Ryleigh is super active. She loves to kick and do flips. My dad says he enrolled her in gymnastics. Can't wait to meet her.

IM mad at you because the fishnet draws acytually fit ur ass. Mine on the other hand helel no the no.. well they did but something just wasnt right about them. And hell you dont do nothing with the period ones except use them for that. so i really dont eem care. You replace them all the time.,. Not that I invest that much in them anyways.. jhahahhaaha

Ok so for the great news!!!! I went to the hospital today to get my sono , and would u believe that at 32 weeks, she is already 4 pounds 8 oz! You should have seen my face. But im so happy because at least i know shes going to be healthy..lol Maybe them big mac attacks are working.

As far as my other one. He has been showing his ass at school. I guess he is at that age. Chile I told his treacher to slap him on the back one good time. I been putting him on punishment when he gets home. Woo 2 kids.. They are a blessing but they also take about 5 yrs off ur lifespan..lol
Hows ur belly looking?

Girl my bleeding stopped when Mya was 6days old. I've been spotting every since. Still haven't had a cycle yet so I don't know how my bleeding will be just yet. I was dead serious. You can't afford more than 2 these days!! Then I have a stepson so I'm all good. Mya is filling out but its hard to say if she will be chunky. She was 20 1/2 in at birth and now at 7wks, 24in. She is 9lbs. Long but she is also heavier than she looks.

NICKYBABY - Thursday, 17 July
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU REALLY ENCOURAGED ME

BABYGIRL435 - Thursday, 17 July

Hey mami!! Just checking on you and ms Ryleigh!! I had my tubal this morning and I'm a little sore. Other than that, I feel just fine. Ms. lady is getting more adorable, her face is filling out more like a baby and not so newborn looking. My 2 little ones keep me busy but I will get Mya up as soon as I can! Take care!

I LOVE the vacuum trick! If Cayden is tired when I turn the vacuum on, he's out in a matter of minutes! Glad the grunting wasn't as bad last night and you got to stretch out in your own bed!!

That would be unbelievable nice of you if you two sent that AC! I'll pay you back for the shipping if she agrees to it. At night it's even hotter upstairs than it is outside. At least in Malachi's room. I don't understand it but whatever. We probably won't get our AC fixed until next spring. At least it's almost August and we'll be gone for 2wks then. I can't believe that I'm going to survive a summer in Missouri without central air!!!!

Hopefully she is easy to potty train. I've heard that girls are a lot easier than boys. I'm having a hell of a time potty training Malachi. Some days are great and then he'll go days without even wanting to use the potty. I've tried EVERYTHING. I've even tried the let them sit in their dirty pull up and see how they like it. He just doesn't care. I've tried the candy trick and even that didn't work. The one that I haven't tried is the cheerios in the toilet and let him try to aim at it. Maybe next time I go to the store I'll buy some. Haha.

It will be really nice for both of us when Malachi goes with my MIL. The past few days he's been great though. Probably because he got to spend some alone time with his Dad. I try to play with him during the day when Cayden is sleeping but there is so much other crap that I have to get done. I need to start making more time for him.

Holla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMao.. Yes im taking it easy. Eating .. u know damn well im gon do that. hahahahaha Things are going pretty good. Everyone at my job is giving me that dont u break ur water in my office face..lol

Suprisingly sleeping had been a lil easier now. And i dont know why. Maybe its because I have finally found the right amount of blankets and covers to wedge under both sides of me to where I just fall asleep.. lmao
Im gettin more and more excited each week. I just want to see her white lil face..lol

How funny is it that the neighbor said my son was the only lightskinned kid with good hair in the neighborhood.. LMAO And the sad part is.... my son knows it too.. Like he will walk past the other lil ghetto kids and not even acknowledge them. Pricelessly funny.! hell, i told him he didnt have to share his toys because thats how u get germs..lol

I finally got my hospital bag ready. Chock full of big draws ( not the cheap fishnet kind they give u at the hospital) Pads, cuz u know u bleed immediately after, Breast pads.. hell mine leaking already!, And all my lil comforts I know im going to want.
Hows ur gf taking to the baby?

tifliyamina - Wednesday, 16 July
Ms. Ryleigh looks like she has a personality already. Her lil' facial expressins are adorable. I think Mina is going to have an attitude. She just looks at you like "whatever, just feed me." LOL
As for my donor... He can kick rocks. He wanted to make her now he's MIA. He's not even worth talking about.
Maybe putting them down would work huh... I'll have to try that.
Girl if you get up this way you will most def have to let me know. I plan on making my way to the "A" sometime next year. Never been there, but everyone tell me I must go for the experience.
Good luck on the milk. I don't even lactate so it breast feeding wasn't an option for me.

preciousangels2 - Tuesday, 15 July
 Aw! She's too cute!

preciousangels2 - Tuesday, 15 July
Well, I just tried out the carrier while I vacuumed and he passed out! The vacuum usually does it when he's tired anyway. He didn't seem to care for it when I was just standing there but once I started walking about he calmed down right away.

Hopefully Ryleigh starts being a little 'independent' soon. So you don't lose it! I'm sure that can get aggravating. Does she let other people hold her or is it just you? One of my friends cousin had a baby last year and he won't let ANYONE hold him except his mom and he wants to be held all the time. I guess some babies are just like that but I'm sure she played a part in it too.

I can imagine how that grunting would be annoying. Especially when you're trying to sleep. Cayden has been sleeping in his crib since we brought him home from the hospital. But that's because his nursery has a door that opens up to our bedroom so he's pretty close but not too close. We haven't gotten our AC fixed yet and Malachi's room gets soooo hot so he's been sleeping in my bedroom (it's a LOT cooler in there and there's a ceiling fan) so I've been stuck sleeping on the couch... Which doesn't bother me because we have the window unit downstairs and it keeps the WHOLE downstairs cool.

WOW! 140 diapers in one week?!? That's crazy! I think I change Cayden 8-10 times a day. He usually doesn't mind being wet for a little bit but he hates sitting in his poop. Which is fine with me because I don't want him getting a diaper rash.

Anyway, I totally did lose it. I sent my hubby a text message while he was work saying I was going to shoot myself. I never got a reply. Haha. Isn't that lovely? What if I was serious?! We do have a gun. My MIL is taking Malachi for a few days. From the 26th to the 31st. That'll be a nice break for me. I know I'll miss him. The longest he's been away was for 2 days and that was May 07. Vacation in August will be awesome too. I'll have plenty of help. My Mom feels bad because when I call her and I'm having a horrible day she can't come help me. It'll get better though. It has to, right?

preciousangels2 - Tuesday, 15 July
Cayden doesn't really like his car seat either. I think he just doesn't like being strapped in to it. We went out to eat one night and I fed him a bottle and just laid him back down in it and he was fine. Then he fell asleep so when I strapped him back in when we left, he didn't wake up so he didn't scream. Do you have a baby carrier or anything? Maybe she'd like that so then you could take her for a walk. We have one but it's been so hot out I haven't tried using it. I'm going to use it around the house so he can get used to it though. We'll be using it in the airport next month.

I have no idea on how to break her from wanting to be held all the time. Luckily I didn't have to deal with that with Malachi and so far Cayden likes his alone time too. He hardly ever cries too. It's so nice! Except for the past 3wks or so Malachi has been a complete terror! Flooded the upstairs bathroom so it leaked into the kitchen and then down in to the basement. Dumped a whole gallon of milk on the kitchen floor, which leaked in to the basement on to my CLEAN clothes I had just washed. Hasn't been listening, screams on the top of his lungs for no reason and won't shut up. Yesterday he was great and so far so good for today. Hopefully he keeps it up.

How is she sleeping at night for you? Cayden was getting up 2 times a night and then for a few nights he slept from about 10:30 or 11pm to about 6am. But the past couple nights he's gone back to getting up 2 times a night. Wonder what that's all about. How much is she eating now? Cayden is a darn pig. He usually eats 4oz every 2-3hrs, sometimes every hour! I don't know where it's all going. He still isn't chunky at all. He's filling out but he doesn't have any of those cute leg rolls... Malachi was born with them! LOL But Malachi was 8lbs 8oz and Cayden was 7lbs.

msreid - Tuesday, 15 July
