May 4, 2008 Hey all, here are the pics from both baby showers. I have one more to do with my folks at work. Then that's done. I will be happy to be done with showers. Both were tons of fun. This is baby number two for me. Well my 2nd child in 16 years. My partner and I have been together for almost 4 years and decided we wanted to have a baby.

We are both excited and both scared to death. It's been a long time since I changed a diaper.

It's a girl we have named (read below) and she is due June 15th.

Glad to see all the other mommies to be out there.

Hey ladies,I `ve yet to add anything substantial to my page so here goes. Sunday the 24th I will be 6 months. Ryleigh is super active. She loves to kick and do flips. My dad says he enrolled her in gymnastics. Can't wait to meet her.

I just started pumping so that my husband can feed her and I can get out for an hour or two here and there to break my days up a bit. My son really didnt cry that much. Maybe because i threatened him every chance i could get so he was scared. I will beat ass into submission..lol And i will say a prayer for the flat screen..lol Im ready to get this lil ass baby out.. hahaha I just want to sleep and wear jeans again. And i keep seeing saggy breasted women. And i cant help but to wonder how trhat shit happened. Like what kinda bra do you have on to where it looks like that...lol And why is it so damn hot outside. And how is ur gf adjusting to the baby? And what does your belly look like now? I cant do the chitlin belly. Thats my biggest fear in life..lol

I have always had to take mine out. This time they got briddle quicker, like at 2 weeks. With my other son I still had them at 4 and a half weeks. They were very sensitive until I pulled them out and it was basically immediate relief. Good Luck

Hey girl!. My first born was colicky and I was a single parent at the time. Imagine. Try this. In Russia, they swaddle the baby to keep him/her calm. In other words, Take the receiving blanket. fold it into a triangle. Place the baby in the center of the triangle with the head at the widest point. Wrap the baby snuggly into the blanket. What it does is create the same type of close environment, he/she had in the womb. Also, mild chamomile is very good for them, we use that here in Italy. I hope I gave you some good advice.

I have that DVD too...finally know the secrets and I am on my fourth baby. Wish I would have known sooner!!! My sis is an RN and got it from someone at work...my younger sis just had a baby and said it works great for her too :) You have some cute babies :) I live in Riverdale so u are pretty close to me..having my baby at Southern Regional in a couple of weeks. I read that your baby has colic. Are you breastfeeding? My midwife went over this whole thing about how to treat colic, 1 huge thing was to watch out what your eating, if your eating things that are gassy for you then they will be for baby too. She stays stay away from wheat, meat, dairy, really fatty, and sweets. Also, try drinking a guiness before you breast feed. She said that the beer worked the best, you just have to make sure to nure before you get to that tipsy point. Don't know if this helps but hoping so for your sake!! COnrats on the newbie!

I know i do.. I was sitting there looking at the marshalls throw people shit out on the street. While eating of course! I know your co workers was like what the hell.. I would NOT be workin unless I absolutely had to. Who has the baby when you are at work? And i always wondered how babies get colic. Like what causes it. Imma google it. Hell i got colic and im 26 lmao..lol I cry on the inside when i see all these people at my job..lmao

SO i threw my braids in last night. and me being the rocket scientist that you know I am, done braided my hair when it was wet. And i did it on purpose but damn today.. wooooo chile! I did this mess so tight i can barely move. Hell if i wanted this much torturre i could have paid the africans in the gallery 300 to pull all my baby hairs out.
But i know how to do my own, plus it looks better.
Im so behind in everything. i think im going to buy baby stuff next week. Otherwise shes going to be coming home in that free hospital t shirt! hahaha
