Can i firstly say I know this isn't a great pic of me but i never have a good pic!
I am a married mummy with a little boy called Thomas who is 3 1/2 and he is lovely! very excited about having a little brother or sister.
I work as a Finance Assistant and am lucky enough to only work during school hours.
I have been married to my husband Erik for 4 years now but we have been together for 10 years this nov! since I was 15! he was my best friends brother but worked out well!
22nd May 2007- 19weeks today!
Well i haven't been writing a diary of my pregnancy so have decided to start today better late than never! Today I am 19weeks and feeling ok except i still keep having headaches! haven't felt the baby move today yet! makes me worry when I don't feel it even though the feelings have only just started still wish they were stronger. I have been feeling a bit ill in the mornings again. Have our 20week sacn week today I really would like to know the sex of the baby but my husband wants it to be a suprise part of me does too! I know it will be nice on the day it's one or the other just as long as he/she is ok I have a feeling it's a boy though maybe because we have a boy already but just have a feeling.Been getting really tired in the afternoons again though but now it's getting to the point where i feel really weak with tiredness oh well it's not a easy job making a whole baby, so is well worth it! :-) Oh and today my hasband asked if he can go on a stag weekend to amsterdam! on the 8th of June so because I said yes he said we can find out the sex of the baby soince he said no! but it has nothing to do with it and i know he will be gutted not having a suprise and i'm quite looking forward to a suprise now so i'm not going to!

Hey, I had my scan yesterday and 'It's a Girl.' I drank the apple juice (I had never heard that before reading it in the comments). The baby was moving all over the place. She was almost too active. It was weird to see her move and not feel it. The ultra sound tech was bouncing my stomach to get her to spred her legs and she kicked hard. I sorta felt it, but if I had not seen it on the screen I would have thought nothing of it. Angela.

I try to stay on either side. Right is good too. Left is just better. Don't get freaked out if u wake up on ur back.. they just don't want us on our backs too much. It's hard for me because I normally sleep on my back. A little adjustment that's all. Hope all is well with ya.

I've tried talking to him a little bit but I feel kinda stupid mentioning it... I'm sure it is because we areso busy with our boy and work and everything. I'm just really excited for this, and I wish he was too! I'm sure he'll get more excited once I actually get a belly and he can feel the kicks! How are you feeling? Your son is adorable!

Good for you guys!! I wanted to keep it a secret... thought it would be fantastic motivation during labor. But my husband was the oposite of yours... he was disappointed that I wanted to wait and keep it a surprise! Haha. So I decided that this time we'll find out. One of these times I'd like a surprise tho. :)

wow. 8lb 10oz and two weeks early. wow. mine was 3 pounds at my 28 week appointment so i am sure she will be big enough. could you imagine how big yours would have been on the due date. LOL....

Thank you!! We lucked out and found a fantastic photographer just a few weeks before our wedding. It was a little stressful before that. Haha. Your little guy Thomas is such a cutie!! I bet he's excited to have a little brother or sister here soon!! A big congrats to you and your family... let me know when you find out if its a boy or girl! :)

Thank you! I did the same thing you did. I just ate extra birthday cake! Mine and my brothers birthdays are just a few days apart so my family had a party for us last night. Of course everyone was drinking, so I just ate extra cake!

We went to a wedding yesterday! everyone was drinking and dancing..i felt so left out! problem was they had a champayne fountin! gutted! i ahd to pay for lemonade! haha! its worth though in the end :)

Hi, yes my sister had a normal delivery after!. wow Thomas did have a good size head, Shaun's was 36cm and he was 47cm long, Lucas's was 37cm and he was 57cm long and Thomas's was 35.5 and he was 47.5 cm long...as you can see Lucas was really long and he was a really big baby but he was always in proportion and just looked sooo cuddly although he did fit into his 3 month stuff lol....I had time to be cut with Shaun i still tore a bit though and the stitches healed quickly, with Lucas there was no time to be cut lol and he had such long nails he left two deep scratches inside which can still be uncomfortable now, with Thomas i was lucky he came out head up which was really weird in Labour because all the pain was in my bum and legs not in my tummy(still painful but just different pain) but luckily i only tore a little and didn't need stitches but you know what regardless of whether you tear or not you are so busy looking at your baby and checking they are ok you just don't care and the best tip i got was sit in a shallow bath with salt, it stings like hell but works really well. Also with Thomas i took a homeopathic treatment a few days before called arnaca tablets to help the bruising and i think you can get the gel (brilliant stuff). So you could give that a try!!. As for Madeleine, i feel the same i would never dream of leaving my boys like that but i bet her Mum and Dad have and will regret that desision for the rest of their lives and if it stops other parents leaving their little ones alone then some good will come out of it...Take Care Kaye x x

Hi Rebecca, I find out what I am having on the 23rd May, so not many sleeps left now, I cannot wait another minute though..lol, but I will let u know when I find out. As for the pic I don't know what happened, it was loading then stopped, when I went to redo it, the pic had disappeared, So now I am waiting for hubby to try and put a new one up for me, so no it isn't ure computer, just a computer glitch.

Hi Rebecca, Nice name..hehe. Thomas is also a good name ( my last). Anyway I thought it was just in my head about these pains as nobody else has seemed to have them, my mum seems to think maybe the baby is hitting on a nerve. My doctor and mid wife aren't to worried about it though, which annoys me when they say that, as it makes me believe that they don't think it is happening. My first pregnancy was a breeze but this one is quite different. My son is cute though, when he sees me bent over trying to breathe through the pain, he comes a rubs my baby and tells him/her to settle down and starts singing to it, honestly I believe it helps. I hope ure pains start to subside soon, as I truely know how it feels. Take care of u and the bub and good luck with everything.

Hi Rebecca, i was lucky Lucas turned at the last minute, did they try and turn Thomas??. They did with Lucas and it hurt! but i wouldn't let them give me a caesarean even though they kept trying to make me, i was just lucky it turned out ok in the end. Lucas was a big baby (must of been all the bananas i ate lol) his labour was scary but only because it was so different from Shauns i think your second is generally quicker and easier so you'll be fine and i have plenty of friends who have had normal deliveries after having c sections first, plus you have had long enough to heal inside, my sister's scar is really red so you aren't alone!.Thomas is a great name my youngest is called Thomas..Have you picked any names for this baby yet?..We chose Lily or Chloe if it was a girl, but i should have known it would be another boy lol...I am a bit worried Jack will be big, even after having 3 i still get a bit nervous at the thought of the Labour but i guess that's normal, hopefully i will have another natural delivery i have to say i think i was far more relaxed having Thomas but in answer to your question Epidurals are great, i didn't have one with Thomas because i wanted to keep mobile the day i went into labour with Lucas i had been walking all day and i really believe if you keep up and mobile it helps things along, i don't know much about them but i think you can have mobile epidurals, lets just say my pain went straight away and if you are having a long labour then they are a blessing to give you a rest!!!..Thankyou for sending on the Emails, i don't know about you but i just feel so useless, i would like to think (god forbid) if it was one of mine people would support me and my family and if they haven't given up hope nobody else should! take care kaye x

I don't know if this helps much now, but it is 5:30 in the afternoon now. Your page says you were online 3 hours ago. Our summer is the worst in August, with an average of 95 to 102 degrees. It is really warm in July and September, but August is horrible. So far I have not had the cool air on yet, maybe I won't need it for a few more weeks. Our electric bills are crazy high when we run the AC. I can remember my stomach feeling like jelly after my son and daughter were born. It has never been the same. Before kids I had these cute little stomach muscles and my boobs were quite perky. Not so now. My stomach reminds me of a road map and my chest seems a foot from where it should be (without a bra). In the ninth month, when my stomach is huge and up around my ribs, at least my boobs will look like they are in the right place again :) Men just don't get it. Angela.
