My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.
I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

Check out the pics of the military trucks I made out of diapers! I made 2, one to give away at the baby shower and the other I am keeping......The first one I did droops a bit in the back but the second one I reinforced the bottom.The site I got the idea from has a bunch of other stuff you can make using diapers!

Hi Amanda. We just finished having all three b-days close together Haili's is mid September and Bailey and Kaylee's are the beginning of October 5 days apart. It gets stressful! Our oldest just turned 5, she got her 5 year old pics at Wal-mart, they turned out nice, she's holding a 5 with an autum background than 2 days later she lost her first tooth. I didn't expect, I thought it was to early but everybody tells me it's normal. My 4 year old got scratched by the cat on her face so we have to wait for her pics. Poor girl.
Well take care I need to make a carrot cake while Haili's sleeping, ttyl.

So what is it you are confronting your BIL about???? Must be very important if your SIL has asked Kevin to step in and help.
Shopping with your SIL sounds great, nice time just to chat and enjoy, it would sure make grocery shopping more exciting hahahahahahahaha.
Aaaahhhh the sippy cups, I sill have to get onto Ally drinking from hers, she has her 3 bottles and then throughout the day I give her this bottle with a straw with a bit of cordial in it, she really loves it, especially when Mick and I applaud her when she gets it up the straw, hahahahahahahahaha.
You know once when I was having Ally monitored (in my belly) because I hadn't felt her move for a while, the midwife I had, had 2 daughters with the same birthday!!!! hahahahahahaha now that would be hilarious!!!!!!
I've got nothing much planned for today, might take Ally over to see my Dad but that's about it. Mick starts night shift again tonight so I have a week of sleeping on my own, man I hate that!! But it is only for a week which I'm sure will fly by.
I think I'm going to stop making so much food for Ally and try to get her to eat more of our foods, obviously she won't be able to eat some of the things we do like curry, hehehehehehehe. She's still a bit fussy with foods well lumpy stuff anyway but I figure if I start giving her more finger foods she start to like the lumpier foods more!!! The thing is when I give her finger foods she just plays with them in her mouth she very rarely swallows the food!!
Oh and lately her tantrums have gotten worse!!!!!!! If I've got something that she wants and I don't give it to her she (and this is no joke) drops straight to the floor throws her self face down and screams!!!!!!! Man am I gonna have my hands full or what????!!!!! I've just been ignoring the behavior in hope that it just goes away, lol.
Anyway I suppose I'd better go and get ready to go out.
