My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

happy~ YES!! my family feels very complete! no more! Im done! just trying to get him to sleep in his own bed is the issue!! Ive been sleeping with him on the couch and I miss my bed! every time I lay him down he wakes up! grrrr...

That is cheap for the calendars, I might have to check it out. I almost hate to do it so soon b/c I would like to have more festive pictures for the winter months, but I suppose I could dress her up and take the photos :) I think it would be great for grandparents, and of course ourselves!

I got a few of the utensils I need to practice making cakes, we are probably going to gain fifty pounds by the time I figure it out. But my grandma gave me all her pointers so hopefully I can make one look decent at least.

Totally recommend the book, I read like two chapters last night when all I wanted to do was sleep, but I couldn't quit. He puts so much humor into his writing.

Laney is feeling 100% again. I love having my happy baby back. I had almost forgotten what she was like. Both teeth are popped through, not to far but the painful part is over. How is bekah handling hers?

Oh, I am so jealous of bekahs sippy cup skills :) Laney has regressed in that department. How awesome you will get a little break! I can't imagine how needed it is and fantastic you didn't got through the engorment, that was awful! Laney really doesn't like to use her sippy cup much. I put formula in it a few times and tried it with a meal or even with me holding her (how she STILL drinks her bottle, the ONLY way she'll drink it). She just drinks a little and want to go about her business. I even did it today and she ended up skipping it, but then she was such a crab later b/c her schedule was messed up and I had to give her one to hold her over. But I got a couple months before its a big deal, hopefully she will just decide its okay one day.

We had an awesome day today...Laney slept in until 7:30! Then we went to the store to get some things and we decided to get a pumpkin carving kit. It is so neat, all the little tools, so Bill and I carved pumpkins. I should put pictures up, I did cat and bill did a face. But with the tracing things they give you to use they turned out very nice. We had to dress laney up in her duck costume to take pics with them b/c we didn't figure they would last until halloween. We are addicted now though, we want more!

Well, I have ECFE tomorrow, but I feel kind of bad b/c Bill will actually be here tomorrow, but he needs to get work done anyways, you should see the list of things we want to get done in case we have to move. It is SO out of control, plus the garage isn't totally done yet. Grrrr...at least its usable though! But I suppose better go see what those two are up to. Talk to you later-

Yep sure sounds like pregnancy brain to me!!!! But you know what I don't get......why doesn't it go away when you've given birth??? I still have mine!! hahahahahhahhaha.

It sure looks like Ally's tooth will pop through very soon, it's like a white indentation on her bottom gum, looks like it will burst through anytime now!!!! I sure hope it hurries up as her bum is starting to hurt her again.

The thing with my Dad is he doesn't think there's anything wrong!!!!! All I can do is continue to pray.

So woooohoooo for me I got the bed frame on ebay to for $16 or about $9 your money, what a bargain!!!!

Oh my for our big Noah!!! How did Bekah measure during pregnancy???? Ally was a little small but not enough for them to change my due date, which I was very positive I was right with anyway. I suppose this is the time when the nerves about labor start to kick in!!! Oh goodness I'm so glad I get to have a c-section with the next one, I just couldn't bare that pain again, not to mention the pain I would feel if I tore over my scar!!! Lucky you had a great 1st time!!!

How nice that you and Kevin got to go out and have some adult time with one another, you're right you should have stayed out later especially since you sit your BIL's kids!!

It's starting to warm up here now, today is warm enough for Ally to just nap in her nappy!!! So nice though not to hot it's just perfect!!!

Anyway my lunch is ready, my computer is running a little slow atm but I'll try and upload photos later.

Thats a good to wait for Christmas with the photos. I was even thinking of framing Laneys 9 month photos and giving those for Christmas gifts or doing one of those photo calendars. I haven't priced them yet though, I hate that I am already having to think about Christmas shopping. Oh and your wall space, if nothing else you can switch them out with photos of them together!

Glad to hear your appointment went good, and that he is a big boy! That means healthy, especially good since you have a chance of going earlier.

Thats a bummer about the sewing machine. Isn't that how it always goes, you really get into something and then something goes wrong. hopefully you can find a cheap, quick, easy, fix.

Ya, my mom and grandma came early wednesday and left thursday afternoon, so not long at all. But your right we are closer in locaation than your family so hopefully we'll see em soon. My mom i will see next weekend, but who knows with my grandma. No for sure holiday plans yet, seems we keep avoiding the conversation...plus we are so unsure of everything with bills job right now that we don't even know for sure where we might be in december, so scary!

Oh and your 6 am world, SUCKS!!!! She did make it to 6:45 the last two mornings so thats a little better....little turkey she has been in her crib quiet for like ten minutes and now she is starting to fuss...I'm going to ignore and hope she drifts to sleep.

I made some applesauce and some more of the cranberry applesauce, and that is it so far. I still have some apples...I want to do applecrisp or apple pie, but I just dont feel like doing it quite yet.

Glad your date went good, I'm hear ya on the babysitter. We really need to do that too. It would be so nice to get away for an evening, maybe see a movie! It would be easy enough, we could even leave after laney is in bed, then the sitter could just listen and watch tv. But I don't trust teenagers either, so hard to find someone, i haven't tried real hard either though. Not with the daycare yet either, I should do that especially with bills job thing. Instead I'm doing the opposite and can't quite shopping on ebay. OOps, i am planning on making laneys cakes for her birthday, have you ever seen those decorative cake pans? Well I found a really cute princess one that I got, so now i have to practice and see if i can actually pull it off. My grandma used to make them for all her grandkids, the were always so cute. I'm sure its going to be hard though, especially the decorating.

So, you want to hear how bad my mom brain has been lately. UHhggg..I swear I need to be hit upside the head sometimes. We get netflix and so the other day we were done watching the movie and I thought I left it in the dvd player. Well next morning I pack it up to mail, and like a dummy, I sent them baby einsteins and kept theirs! They didn't send it back or anything, just sent us the next one on our list. Poor person who orders the one we had is going to get a baby movie. I should call them and see if we can switch. And then, I found these cute shoes on ebay for laney and bid on them, as LOW as I could...plus I never win what I bid on, but of course since I bid on the wrong size I won. I emailed the lady and she has the same pair in the next size up and she said she would just mail those, so hopefully she does.

But any how. I am beat and I'm still not quite sure she is napping, keeps making little noises. But I'm gonna lay on the couch and relax and hopefully doze off......Oh ya, I also got the book I was talking about Just Do It, on ebay (I know I have a problem, Bill needs to take my debit card away)...but i'm only a couple chapters in, but really funny and good so far! Hope your having a great day and enjoying have your house and bekah to yourself again!

LMFAO about going to your appointment early!!!!! How hilarious!!!!!!

Oh by lumpy foods I meant foods with peas or pasta and stuff!!!! She did eat it last night though. I give her plenty of finger foods but she more plays with it, she does put it in her mouth an chew but doesn't swallow!!!!!

I think I saw a white spot on Ally's lower gum, so I really hope that it's a tooth!!! She woke up at 1.30am and thought it was time to get up and play this morning!!!! I gave in and rocked her till she was drowsy again.

So with the wipes.......why not just use a flannel??? Yeah you have said you used disposable nappies, but I had no idea you still were!!!!! Man you must have a lot of washing, hehehehehehhehe. I only spend $26 or in your money it would be about $15 a fortnight on nappies so it's not to bad.

Well I got a nice 12 hour sleep cause Mick let me sleep in, but oh my, my Dad's memory is getting worse, he rang me at 6am and said he wasn't going to work, I said ok Dad I wasn't taking you anyway because you have a car, he said oh yeah, well later that morning my brother asked why he didn't go to work and he replied, I don't have a car!!! Oh I wish he would go to the doctors, I pray that God fixes whatever is going on.

Well I was the highest bidder on a 6.9ft Christmas tree, wooohoooo it was a bargain. I had a look at the shops yesterday and they were priced at $200!!! I got this on brand new and being delivered for $58 that includes delivery!!! Someone did outbid me on the other items (play pen and bed frame) I will continue to bid on bed frame but I'll wait until it's almost finished, lol.

Anyway let me know how your appointment goes, hahahahahaha.
