My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

That's the picture I liked the best too! What a good one to send all the family. How was your appointment? I bet your mil loved being there, I know mine would have been over the top.

Thats great you got so much done in your scrapbook, gosh I really need to get going on Laneys. Thats awesome about the sewing machine. You'll have to let me know how it goes. I know nothing about sewing, but your ideas are so cute, especially the stocking....I was going to order laney one kind of like that, but how special that you could make one on your own!

Laney is slowing getting better with the meat, guess it just takes some time to get used to. Her one top tooth is totally through and the other one is really close. She realized that she can grind it on her bottom one, she is always doing weird things with her mouth now, but the bad part is when she sucks her thumb her tooth rubs it and it is getting all blistered in that spot. Don't know what to do about that.

Well it was nice having my mom and grandma here, but they already left :( Felt like they just got here and then they were gone, but she had a lot of family to see back "home" too. Laney has been awful at getting up early the last couple days, she got up at 6 both days...ugghhh, I am SO not a morning person. Plus then she needs more naps b/c she doesn't sleep long, although she did do good yesterday a two hour nap! Pumpkin patch wore her out. Which was SO fun by the way. I got some good pics, I'll have to get them up here soon. But I suppose I better go do something, I have a TON of apples I need to do something with and I'm not sure what yet...Hope your having a great day!!

Oh man no one should be awake at this time!!!! It's 6am and I'm at my parents waiting for the sun to come up so I can get Dad's car back to the mechanic!!!!

Washable baby wipes????? Tell me more because I spend a small fortune on wipes!!!!!

I do have a sippy cup for Ally but she's not a fan of it!!!! I didn't know that we were supposed to wean them off the bottle now, I guess I'd better start!!! I'm still having trouble with lumpy foods!!!!! The health center nurse said just to stick with it and don't give in all she'll never get used to it, but she refuses and aI don't want to starve her......what do you think???? Should I just be a mean mummy???? She pulls the lumps out and just plays with them!!!!

Her poos are still the same it's been like that for about a week, she has a really big normal poo in the morning and then as few little messy ones throughout the day. I haven't been giving her anything different, at first I thought it might be the cows milk she has on her cereal and in her yogurt but she's been having those for a while and they have never caused a problem before, I did however switch her cows milk yesterday to a lactose free type one. Her nappy rash is 100 times better though so the cream the Dr gave me obviously worked!! Thank goodness, I hate seeing her uncomfortable!!!! Mind you her sleep last night was shocking, she screamed until I picked her up at 8pm then up at 12.30 again at 230 and again at 330, I left at 430 and she was back asleep by then, I wonder what is going on??? It has to bee teeth don't you think??

I would so LMAO if Noah came late!!!!! But I really don't think he will!!!

I will get onto putting some photos up tonight if I get a chance otherwise I'll do it tomorrow.

Bekah's ladybug outfit sounds ADORABLE!!!!! I can't wait to see the pictures!!! I wish we celebrated Halloween here, sounds like so much fun!!!

Don't worry about the weight you've gained, it will come off after Noah is born, I mean what are you supposed to do starve youreself???? I say go crazy, eat whatever you want and worry about it later!!! hehehehehehe.

Those pictures are SO perfect!!! I especially love the ones where she is playing with the pumpkin. Looks like you had a perfect day for it. And how nice you don't have to spend on money on professional ones now, those are probably way cuter anyways! Got me even more excited to go on our trip tomorrow!

I bet it was nice to have a break, I think Laney gets that way too when people have been around a lot. They are so used to just being around us so much.

Don't feel bad about your scrapbook, I am even more behind than that, by a lot actually :( That sounds like a really neat idea putting the special occasions in the back. Might have to copy you :)

Laney is having a quick snooze, I don't usually let her nap this late in the day but my word did she need it. Maybe she will stay up a little later then, Bill is getting home around her bedtime so hopefully with this little nap she can make it to seem him at least for a few minutes. Oh I started trying the meat, she is not a big fan. She takes like two bites okay and then everytime I sneak another bite in she literally gags on it. It makes me feel horrible keep putting it in there, but I don't know how else to get her used to it.

Luckily I got a lot done today so not much to do before the grandmas come. But I still have to finish up a few little cleaning things. So I better go get at it before I have to wake her, hopefully she wakes on her own though!

Yeah yeah I know I've been so slack at returning messages lately, hahahahahahaha, I have no excuse other than I'm being lazy, lol.

It's good that Bekah sees you and Kevin sharing your love with other children, that should help things heaps when Noah comes. Ally doesn't see me share my love with other children, she gets it all for herself, hahahahahaha, man I'm gonna be in for some trouble!!!!! lol.

So do you think Noah will make an early appearance???? I do!!! hehehehehehe, I think he will be a couple weeks early.

So what's pumpkin patch???? Here pumpkin patch is a kids clothing store, and it's very pricey!!!!!
So what do you do on Halloween there???? And how will you be spending this Halloween???? I would love to be over there one Halloween just to see what it's like, hehehehehe, I will get there one day that's for sure!!!!

So I had to get up at 4am two mornings in a row, so tiring but the mechanic that is fixing Dad's car can't find a problem with it...... so frustrating it's the 2nd time we've taken it back there and it never does the horrible shaking thing for the mechanic, hopefully God answers my prayers and it just fixes it's self, lol.

Oh I had to take Ally to the Drs last night, she's had really watery poo and last night her bum got so so red that she just screamed when I touched it or when she had to pee, so I took her down so i could get a stronger cream for it, which seems to have helped a little, the Dr said it she might have a virus but I don't thinks so because she's fine other than her bum and poo, I'm wondering if she might get some teeth soon, I've read a few things on the net and a lot of Mum's say that just before their baby got teeth they had watery poo and a very red bum........what do you think????

Oh I forgot to tell you, while I was away I got my hair cut and didn't tell Mick, lol, he got a shock when I got of the plane, hehehehehehe, but I think he's used to it now, I just had lots of layers put in, it feels so much better now, it's not so thick and heavy!!!! Plus I have psoriases on the back of my head so at leas it's getting a bit of air to it now.

Talking about hair, I had to cut Ally's fringe for the 2nd time while we were away, her hair grows so so fast, it's already past her shoulder blades at the back!!!!!! She's going to be like me, I had hair down to my bum by the time I was 3!!!!

I would laugh if Noah was born with a full head of hair!!!! How funny, Noah having more hair than Bekah, but you know what I couldn't imagine Bekah with heaps of hair, she's adorable the way she is, and those big bows wouldn't suite a baby with heaps of hair!!!!! lol.

How many milk feeds does Bekah have during the day???? Ally has 3 and it adds up to about 14-15 oz, but she won't have water or anything, do you think that's enough???

Ok well I suppose I'd better go and get ready for bed, I WILL write again tomorrow, lol.

Well I hope you are getting some rest tonight! Noah is wearing you out I'm sure, not to mention Bekah! I totally understand about needing to get away once in awhile, isn't funny though how quickly we realize we miss them.

Laneys cold is continuing to improve, her one top tooth is almost all through and now the one next to it is coming, UUGGGHHHH, poor girl just doesn't get a break and that means neither do I. I can't wait til she is 100% again, shes still a pretty happy girl, but you can just tell shes not feeling quite right. Oh, and I just think she'll be tomboy b/c I want her to be a girly girl...I always did the opposite of what my mom wanted until i was way older :)

I can't wait to see the pictures, did everyone go with? I bet it is nice to get your home back! Is your MIL leaving after she stays at your SIL? That was a nice long visit. Thank God mine never stays that long!

So what else is new with bekah besides trying to get papers? Did her tooth finally pop through? Any new pregnancy things?

So the latest on Bills job is not good news. They pretty much lied to him AGAIN, the company didn't get sold out to investors, that was what they were hoping would happen. The company just filed bankruptcy! What does that mean for the company, I don't really know, but it sure doesn't sound good. Sun Country airlines is also part of it, and they seem to think they are going to be able to stay up and running with pay cuts. I just keep hoping and praying we find out if this other offer will really happen or not.

Well, I better get to bed. Lots of cleaning to do tomorrow before the family gets here. So hard to do during the day, Laney is just a clingy bug, I should just get out the carrier thing you were around you again. Oh how funny would my big girl like in that little thing, not to mention the number it would do on my back, but at least I'd get a work out!

Well I'll take your 12# gain and trade you my 29#! I swear I don't know where it's going. All my clothes fit and I still don't have much of a belly.
We went to the Lamar city-wide the weekend before and found so much stuff. We had a really good time. She is getting more and more active, I wish I knew what I was feeling...is it her hands, her feet, etc?
We just have the usually holiday stuff planned nothing very exciting, but we're doing our baby shower Nov 15th so it doesn't interfere with the holidays. I want Josh to be there so it'll be an untraditional baby shower I guess. But I can't say I've ever done much that was traditional :)

No problem, I figured you were busy. Laney is feeling a lot better, still kinda snotty though. The vaporizer helped her cough a ton, but didn't really do much for the congestion, but I think there is a different vapor mix thing you can get for that. We put her to bed without it night before last and she started coughing and we started it up and within a half hour she wasn't coughing anymore....so yes, I reccomend it!

Crazy that these teeth are taking so long! The corners of it are barely popped through, hopefully the rest comes soon...she isn't as happy about it as bekah is :)

That is awesome about your shopping! That is a lot of stuff for only 60.00! I love buying dresses, I hope laney is a girly girl...but I'm guessing she'll be a tomboy.

Laney hasn't ever seen the wiggles, but I bet she would enjoy it too, she has been really into music lately. She starts bopping up and down whenever it comes on. Her climbing is out of control too, on everything, the bottom shelf of the coffee table, the stairs, her baby gate...its crazy, she is such a monkey.

Well, I hope your having a great day, sounds like you had a lot of fun stuff planned. We are going to the pumpkin patch/orchard on Wed when my mom and grandma come. I'm excited I don't get to see them to often! So hopefully we have a nice day too! Can't wait to see the pictures from the patch~ and thanks for the prayers, we still haven't heard anything new...
