My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

Hey Amanda, Appointment went well today. I wasn't sure what to expect. She just listened to the heartbeat and thought it sounded great. Have another one in 4 weeks for the same thing and then the appointment after that is when she said they'll do a big ultrasound to make sure everything looks okay and try to determine gender. I am so annoyed with my piece of crap computer right now! I started a scrapbook at the picaboo site, and last night I got two pages done and went back and some of the pictures were missing, what the heck!?!? So I think, huh I must of not saved or something so I do it over and guess what, they are gone agaiN!!!!!! Makes me so mad, I suppose its my computer and not the program, its been acting up alot lately, saying my virtual memory is low....figures, it is about four years old now time for it to take a poop too!

Whew, I feel better now.....How is your day going? Bekah started doing anything new lately? Any new pregnancy syptoms? Laney got up early today, 6:30, so she is down for her nap already, hopefully she takes a good one. I am stir crazy in the house so I want to go get a few things later and want her in a good mood. (spend money b/c I'm bored, real smart).

Not much new here, Bill gets home tonight so I am pumped about that, but I suppose I am gonna go pack a bag so we can get scooting after she wakes up and has a snack. Hope your having a great day!

i fink shay jst had an off day yesterday coz she was fine 2day which was gr8 lol!! she had a nap for 4 hrs n i slept 4 2 hehehe!!

In Germany they do scans every visit...but I and many others are having so many scans because we are high risk...so sometimes it is god not to need so many scans!:) But yep, it sure is nice to see our babies...and I am sure for you t is exciting to see how much they have changed!:)

hi there.. hailey is crawling and feeding her self finger foods. she pulls her self up on the couches and things we are now finding out what booboo's are lol.. as for me im not doing so good i had a dr apt today and found out my cervix is short and that im on bed rest again..i just hope to make it to 36weeks with this one.

WooHoo! Week 12!!! First big milestone of the pregnancy! Sorry, I'm a bit of dork....so I now have whatever Laney had, I think its a head cold, awful...everytime she naps I think I will get to, but by the time I do a couple things and start to fall asleep she is getting up...grr..Oh well, I will just have to go to bed early like her tonight, Bill is gone until late tomorrow anyway, so I know how you feel about that extra hour of waiting for them. Sometimes an hour feels like an eternity when you have already been staring at the clock all day....that's how I feel sometimes anyway.

Thinking about taking Laney to the baby pool in our town later, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea so soon after getting over a cold. I might put it off a couple more days at least.

So you have me really tempted to try the digital scrapbooking. The only think holding me back is that I have a ton of stuff bought for her scrapbook already, so maybe I'll do both, make like a "firsts" one digitally, that would neat don't you think? My friend did one for her sister on shutterfly that turned out really cute.

So is Bekah back on schedule today? I hope so, I think it frustrates me more than Laney when she is off though :) Speaking of, I have family that lives out in the hills, about 7 hours from me, and about 4.5 hours from my mom. So we were thinking we (My mom, laney, and I, bill has a week long trip coming up), would venture out there. So I would drive to my Moms and stay so it wouldn't be so much driving in one day...but I thought it would be easy to leave at her bedtime so she would just sleep the whole way...but NO, my mom has to be all weird, she says she won't go if we drive at night b/c we will hit a deer! Seriously, it would be so much easier on Laney. So now the plan is to leave at 5 in the morning and hopefully laney will sleep until at least 8 in the car, I am hoping, we have never tried that before.

Sorry, I am rambling, again....How is your day going? Oh I was going to tell you, I found some of the things, I'm not sure they are exactly what you gave Bekah, but the are little star shapes that dissolve really quickly. The container says she should be crawling before she is ready, but I tried one and she did fine, she was pretty indifferent about it, so i'll I probably wait awhile. Okay, really must go now..talk to you soon. Hope you are all having a great day, it is so perfect out today!

We love our new house. We still need to get another camera so I can post some new pics, they grow sooo fast!
How's your sweet little Rebekah?
Haili is crawling everywhere, she loves crawling the stairs but it scares me. She has been standing by herself for about a minute, she dont have the confidence to take a step yet.
I'm still nursing, I'm getting kinda tired of it. I feel like I cant do nothing else but I'm so proud I've done it this long and I like not having a period. I'm not ready to be fertile yet, three is ALOT! I love them to death but they sure can wear me down.

i have been getting ultrasounds every week just b/c of my history of miscarriages. had i not, my doctor normally only does one at 8 weeks, one at 20 weeks and then a free one at 26 just so you can see how much the baby has grown.

It all depends on your insurance and your doctor... I go to my dr. every 4 weeks but when i hit 32 weeks i will begin to start going every week... As for the scans that depends on your insurance.. my inscrance covers as many ultrasounds as my dr. feels is necessary BUT alot of insurance copanmy will only cover 2 ultrasounds.. (the first one and the one at 20 weeks) but it all depends on your dr and your insurance.. i hope this was helpful and good luck with your pregnancy!

I'm feeling better, thank you. I wonder if the antibiotics were making me feel worse lately. Yes my appt is tomorrow (should be about 13 weeks). I'm very excited, but also wish time would go fast. I'll be anxious to start looking pregnant instead of just a little chubby :) When did you find out what you were having last time (if you did)? I'm so surprised how many girls at 12-13 weeks say they know already. I'd love to know soon. But I guess I'll find out either way eventually! Hope your appt goes great! Talk to you soon.

Yeah everyone is tall in my family (I'm the shortest)lol, and Mick's family is short and tall, lol. I think Ally will be a lot like my Mum.

Is it possible to stay with a member of the bride's family instead of a hotel??? It would save you a little money if you could.

I so feel your bordem and laziness, I've been so bored that I actually did some cleaning, lol, I did give up half way through though, lol.

I will give Ally medicine before bed tonight and see how that goes. She's been pretty good today, no crying she just wants to play with her toys.

Michael is going to the car yard soon to see if he can talk the guy into putting the price down on the car we like, if he doesn't then I will take that as a sign to not buy a car, lol.

Anyway I'm off for now, I have no energy at all, lol.

Thanks so much for your message. This time around is so much better but I still am nervous everyday that something might happen. After my next doctor's appointment I start to go to my doctor's only once a month so I rented a fetal Doppler to help reassure me that everything is ok between visits. It hasn't arrived yet but I can't wait to start using it. How is everything going for you? It sounds like you had a great vacation.

Yeah here you turn the car seat around once they reach 8 kilos so that would be 17.6 pounds. It was funny when we went to pick Mick up.....he got in the car and I said 'there's a surprise in the back for you', he turned around and said 'where', I said 'don't you notice anything different??' and he goes 'oh did you cut Ally's hair' hahahahahaha, I'm like 'no, how about the way she's facing', he goes 'ooooohhhhhhhh' I didn't even notice, hahahahahaha, ahhhh some men are thick, lol. She loves facing forward though, she just stares and smiles at me.

Ally is in between the 25 and 50% for her head circumference, she's in between the 75 and 90% for her weight and she's off the chart for her length!!!!! So I am guessing that she's going to be very tall, lol.

Well last night was shocking......Ally didn't stop crying and screaming until 11pm, I have no idea why, it could be her shots, her teeth or her little cold that she seems to be getting or all of the above, hehehehehe, I gave her some infants friend and she was asleep 15 mins after, not sure if thats what helped or whether she was just really tired, but I will give her more tonight before bed to see. I saw this stuff in the pharmacy yesterday it's called 'calm' not sure if it works though, I also saw those teething tablets, they're a bit pricey and I don't want to get them if it's not her teeth that are making her irritable and I always hear that their first tooth doesn't bother them, not sure if thats true though, so yeah I'm kind of stuck about what to do next......any suggestions????

Yeah I wouldn't be looking forward to such a long drive either!!!!!!! Especially with little Bekah. Why is it so far away???

I'm getting Ally an animal train for Christmas this year, I'm sure she'll love it.

Well I'll write more later I really need to have my shake for breakfast, it's already 11am here, then I need to brush my teeth and hair while can, lol.

Well, I am glad to hear that your day went smoother than mine :) Mine did get better, no more temps all day long and she was in a much better mood, thank goodness!

That is such a good idea, buying clothes for the opposite season.....I should do that, but its hard to know what size, Laney is apparently supersize baby. She weighed in at 17 pounds and 3 ounces today! She just doesn't seem chubby to me, oh well. They didn't do her height though.

I love scrapbooking! However, I haven't even started Laney's book. I have the pregnancy one finished, but not so much on hers. I have all the stuff ready, I just hate getting it all out to work on for a half hour and then putting it all away. Actually I am getting a card table from my mom and am going to leave it up in our extra bedroom, hopefully then I will get going on it.

But I suppose, Laney is still crying from me putting her to bed, so I better go check on her. Later!
