My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

Well Ally and I got Mick's Father's Day present, we got him a pair of boxer shorts, chocolate, shower gel and body spray pack and I'm having a keyring with a photo of him and Ally in it but I wont get that until mid September.

We bought Ally a soft serve ice-cream while we were at the shops but she was more interested in Mick's chocolate ice-cream, hehehehehe.

How cute that Bekah sits and helps you fold clothes, hehehehe, I know when Ally watches me wash the dishes I tell her 'this will be your job one day' hehehehehehe.

So was it hard saying no to the other photos????? I don't think I could have done it, hehehehehe, I would make Mick go in and pick them up, he's stronger than I am!!!! lol

How was the rest of your day????

Ally slept better last night but we were up at 6.30am, hhhmmmmm I wonder where the 8am wake ups went to, geeee I hope they come back!!!! lol.

So I was a little naughty today and I bought Ally a little bikini!!!! hehehehehe it's so cute I just couldn't resist!!!! So now she has 3 swim suites, but my Mumhas one up in Darwin for when we go up there, I think we go in about 4 weeks, I'm so excited but nervous to!!!!!

Well I'm off it's already 10pm, geee where does the time go?? Mick doesn't finish work until 11pm tonight and tomorrow he's working 7pm to 3am, so I will be in bed alone, lol.

So how is everything in your household today? Bet your getting plenty of rest and things done since Bekah is being such a good napper this week! Laney had one good one today which was nice, I got to nap too! Stupid cold, so tired of it! Laney is pretty whiney today and her nose dripped a little, so I'm afraid she might be getting it. I'm not suprised though, I washed all the time and tried not to be to close to her, but its awful hard to do when your the only one around to take care of her sometimes.

Now Bill invited a co-worker and his family over for supper this weekend, which would normally be fun, but not if we are both still sick. Hopefully we will be better by then, but last time Laneys lingered FOREVER!!

Does Bekah ever spit up? I was told that they are supposed to stop around six months, but it seems like Laney is doing more than ever, I wonder if it means anything. She has been getting around six wanting a bottle to and then going back to bed, maybe I need to increase her portion sizes a little now that she is bigger. She always wants more, but it just seems like so much. I guess I should measure it out in the jar size of the boughten to compare with what other babies are doing, but then again all babies are different too. Grrr.. can you tell i'm confused about what to do!??!?

Bill had to go in for a meeting today, hopefully the find out some information on all the possible changes, but i'm not going to hold my breath, they seem so unsure of whats going on I don't know what to believe anymore. I even sent him with the grocery list b/c I didn't feel like going anywhere. That's always scary, he always ends up getting things we don't really need. Oh well, I guess a treat now and then never hurt anyone.

Hi Amanda! Thank you for your kindness, Well, Cowdirlygirl28 wasn't wrong about you, she said you are a great lady. Well, Am very tired, I feel like I have'nt got enough rest since last year LOL .. but thanks to God anyway. I feel like my milk supply has decreased so much, but am still going on until she weans herself. So, I guess Rebekah now is about 7 months, which means that she eats solids now, which made it easier for you. I started solids with Dina at 4 1/2.
It is so exciting having the two at close ages, but more tiring trust me. they will be so much like twins. Kiss your little angle for me. and Take a good care of yourself.

Well my morning nap was lovely!!!! 2 hours!!!!!

I wouldn't worry about Abby being a little quiet, I'm sure that as the weeks go on she'll become more active!!!! She may be completely different to Bekah, she's probably just kicking back in there and taking it easy!!!! hehehehehe. Sometimes when I couldn't feel Ally I would go up to the hospital so they could monitor her, and she would be kicking up a storm in there but the reason I couldn't feel her was because she was either kicking towards my back or kicking the placenta which can be like a great big pillow to them, that's what the midwife told me anyway!!!!

I'm waiting for Mick to get home to we can go and do our grocery shopping, the cupboards are starting to look a little bare!!!!!

Well it's going to be Father's Day here not this Sunday coming but the next. Ally and I are going to go shopping for Mick on Tuesday, hhhmmmm I wonder what she'll choose for him, hehehehehehe.

So we have a bit of a dilemma at the moment.........we're having Ally baptized at the end of the year.....but there is no one we know that we would want to be God parents..... We are going to a reparation day on the 14th of this month and I'm wondering if I haven't thought of anyone by then that maybe I should ask the priest for his advice. I don't want just any joe blow you know what I mean????? I want someone that is serious about their faith and that is in Ally's life to provide guidance. Aaahhh I don't know, I'll have to do some more thinking, lol.

Don't feel like a terrible Mum because Bekah's clingyness gets annoying.......I know how hard it is when you really have things that you need to get done. Just think it wont be long before she's walking and wanting to help you do everything, hehehehehehe, then things are going to take soooooo long to do, lol.

Well I'm off for now, Mick should be home soon and then we just need to wait for Ally to wake up.

Well Ally slept a little better last night but we were up at 6am so I will be having a morning nap with her, lol.

I've decided that after Monday's weigh in I'm going to give it a go with out the medication, I'm quite sure I'll be able to do it and if I can it will be a bonus as it costs $90 a month!!!! I think I've lost about 6.6 pounds so not much but at least it's something.

The headaches aren't migraines but they're not far from it!!! I used to get them all the time when I was in high school and they used to be sooooooo painful and they would make me vomit and then after a few years I just stopped getting them, maybe it had something to do with teenage hormones.

I hear ya about not wanting to eat what has been planned!!!! It's been happening a lot with me lately.

I wonder why Bekah is being fussy, maybe she's just really tired!!!! I know their little brains are working overtime at the moment learning and discovering new things!!!

Oh and I know how frustrating it can be when they get clingy!!!!! But it does make me feel good to know that all Ally wants is me, hehehehehehe. Yesterday when I went out of site she came to the hallway and started yelling umm umm and I kept saying no it's mum mum, hehehehehehe, funny little monkey!!

Ally's dinner last night had whole peas in it, you could see that she was trying to push them out but she kept swallowing them, hehehehehe. I think her appetite is getting bigger to, not with her bottles though she much prefers her solids!!!!

Well I'd better go for now, I've left Ally in the family room with her dvd on, hehehehehe, I'll write more later this afternoon.

ps: I forgot to say, it was in my mid third trimester when Mick could finally start to feel Ally, but he only felt her move a handful of times. I remember one morning when we were sleeping he had his hand rested on my belly and she booted him twice I looked at him and he still had he's eyes closed, when I told him about it later that day he said, with great excitement 'I KNOW' that was the first time he felt her I think. Aaaahhhh I think we will have to start trying again soon, just a little more weight to go, I know I wont be at my goal but at least I will be at my pre pregnancy weight.

Hi! Sorry it took so long to write back, my friend finally got here, she ended up spending the night so that was a good time, although I had a good time, I secretly just wanted to go to sleep and get over this dumb cold! My nose is all stuffy and my head hurts, but I won't complain as long as Laney doesn't get it!

How are you girls today? Having another great day I hope. Bekah still snoozing a lot for you? Laney has really started pulling herself up on things the last couple days..little stinker she isn't big enough yet so of course she falls, but that is ALL she wants to do so she does. Determined little girl.

Just got done paying the bills...uggg, I hate doing that. Bill wants to buy his garage doors and windows this weekend so I figured I better figure out if we can or not. I wish we could do it in spurts but that would be silly b/c we have to borrow a pick-up to get them.

Well, I hope your having a good day, I'm gonna take advantage of some down time (which I should be cleaning, my house is needs it badly) but I'm gonna go lay down for a bit and see if the headache will go away. Talk to you later!!!

hey Amanda...I was so sick this morning! I ate a toaster strudel ..BIG MISTAKE..I threw it up within moments of eating it. Anyhow felt like a heal because I just couldn't take Justen to school. I DID get him dressed and ready though, he understood but I still felt bad.

On another note..I'm doing a bit better now, I just posted some pictures of my shower favors and diaper cake. Take a look when you can, tell me what you think. I LOVE the favors.

A nice lady from your week called cowgirlygirl28 told me that u might be a help for me. Well, i gave birth to lovely baby last Jan. she is 8 months old now, and i breastfeed her although she can eat solids now, but since she had allergy from formula and i tried many brands but didn"t work, she is still breastfeeding and we reduced that to early mornings, late nights and times when she wants to nap. now am 6 weeks preg. again, and am not sure if breastfeeding her will still be ok for her and for the baby. Are u still breastfeeding? how old is your beautifull Rebeka is? God bless and all the best in your pregnany.

So sorry for the late reply, I haven't been feeling 100% the last couple days, I've had a horrible headache that has been making me feel sick, I think it's something that's going around because a friend of mine has the same thing. But I'm starting to feel a little better now.

How absolutely amazing about your minister and his wife, wow really shows that God does work miracles!!!!!!! And what a relief and wonderful surprise for the both of them!!!!

I took Ally to the pools for the first time the other day, she LOVED it, in fact she cracked it when we took her out to leave!!!! lol. There's pics on my facebook I will upload some on here when I get a chance.

How weird that Bekah had a reaction to strawberries!! I love them!!! And yes thank goodness for the creams!!!!

Well Ally had lumpy food the other night, it had pasta in it, I'm not sure if she only ate it because she was really hungry or because she really liked it, we'll find out tonight though, lol.

So Ally has said dada a few more times but I think she's over it, hahahahahahahaha, poor Mick!!!!

I was reading about introducing egg yolk, and they say you can make a little egg yolk omelet so I think I will try that soon. With the cows milk, the nurse said to just introduce it like yogurt and on cereal, but not in her bottles yet, her poos have gotten better though so maybe she's used to it now.

So how did the anniversary celebrations go??????? I bet you both had a fantastic time!!!!!

Oh and YAAAAAAY for active Abby, hehehehehehe, I know I started feeling Ally at 15 weeks but Mick wasn't able to feel her until much later and he had to be quick to catch it, hehehehehe, but he did watch her but pushing out on my tummy and moving around, such an awesome feeling!!!!!!

Well I get weighed on Monday and I'm super nervous as I haven't done as much exercise this month and I've been a little naughty when it comes to chocolate, hehehehehe.

Well I'd better go and play with Ally, I will send you an email, with another message that I didn't want to write on here because I didn't want someone to read it.
