My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.
I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

He was a convicted murderer in MO who somehow was out on remand(?)and was allowed to be in KS. He went to Pitt State and was doing nursing. He lived across the street from me. He murdered this petite blonde girl from Parsons who lived 2 doors down from him. It happened while I was on Spring Break. Anyway, they had convicted him and he got the death penalty. KS had just re-introduced it. But I guess he was able to appeal b/c the penalty was so new to KS. The good news is that the retrial ended in the same result. He will be put to death. My host family in KS had just sent me the news article. Pretty crazy stuff.

No word on what is going on with the company yet, sounds like some sort of financial thing. I wish I was only a couple months behind on scrapbooking, I am still doing pictures from the first week home from the hospital! Whoops....I just hate getting all the stuff out to work for an hour and then putting it all away again. I need a place to leave it set up.
I guess I haven't really noticed any cracking noise on Laney, I did a couple times when she was really young and of course it freaked me out, but nothing lately. I'm sure its normal though. That is weird you could when she was still in you, that would scare me too!
I love the part of pregnancy where the belly is hard. Makes you feel more pregnant. Me anyway, for the longest time I just felt like I had a big beer belly :) Can you feel the kicks on the outside yet?
Thats great that Bekah got the sippy cup right away. Makes life easier when they can just grab their cup if they are thirsty instead of whining and taking forever to figure out why. Laney is the silliest girl, seems like every morning bill has been home lately she is just this happy content girl, plays by herself so nice, then as soon as he leaves she is a crabby cling on. Seriously, bill thinks I have it so easy, but I tell him shes not always so easy :) Silly girl, hopefully she is in good spirits for her busy weekend. Hope we don't wear her out to much!
So how are things going with the niece and nephew today? Are they old enough that they can help out with things too? Although it probably makes some things harder, I think it would be nice to have older ones around once in awhile to have an actual conversation with or to help with little things.
I haven't gotten around to looking into other daycares yet. I know there are more in town, I lost my list from a long time ago and can't remember the website. Obviously I'm not in a big hurry :) I think most places probably can't have a drop in infant if they already have one infant all the time. I'll probably have to wait until she is 1 anyway. I should look into it more, the extra money would be nice, especially if we have to move. I want alot paid off before that happens, which we can work on more now with his raise. I'm also worried b/c I've been looking at houses in the area we would move to and they are a little pricey and I want so many things in my next home.....stupid money!! life would be so much easier if we could just win the lottery :)
But I suppose, better go switch the laundry. Hope your having a good day. Is your back still doing good?
