My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

Yes it will be wonderful. It's hard for me a little to know it's almost over because when I got married 8 years ago it was my intentions of staying married for life as I'm sure it is the intentions of most. But he admits to 3 affairs and I've heard of 6 so after years and years of no trust and betrayal this last time he left we tried to talk it out again but it finally just came to a point where there was no going back again. Too many affairs, No trust. But I am thankful now that I don't have to raise my 7 year old in that atmosphere anymore and I have a wonderful man now that I have no doubt I am his one and only. He prooves that to me each and every day.

Hopefully Bekahs not getting sick, that would be a bummer! Isn't it crazy how they still find the germs even when they aren't around other kids that often, just imagine if they were in daycare!

Laney has been weird with her naps lately too....she ended up having four today! Only one was a little over an hour the others were only 30-45 minutes long, but still....she has been getting up earlier though. Its good she has become very regular, but it seems it happens between 6:30 and 7:30 and then she is up, I suppose I couldn't go back to sleep in poopy pants either, nor should I want her to..but you know what I mean :)

Bill is supposed to be home around midnight tonight, i thought about staying up and scrapbooking until he got home, I am so very behind; but I don't think I'll make it, I am too tired.

Okay, this is interesting, Bill just called and the owner of his company is being investigated for something they won't say. But they shut down corporate offices and they FBI among many other people are searching. Luckily the aviation portion is a whole different entity so it shouldn't be affected, other than having the same name...wow, makes me really hope the other opportunity happens. So, I'm gonna go google it and see what else I can find out! Have a great night!!!

So Noah is already showing how naughty he is .. yeah boys are naughty and so much different, unlike girls. God bless them both. My appointment went good, other than the due date thing everything went good and the baby was standing on his/her head, which is so promising that he/she will be naughty too. The doc. show me the heartbeats, so lovely and so amazing. God, how all this thing makes me feel!
My next appointement is in the altrasound and they will be doing a full check up to make sure everything is okay and nothing is going wrong. It will be in Oct. 6th, am so excited, and I hope everything will be okay.

Oh that is to cute...she is standing really good, I bet we are both going to have early walkers! Laney will stand for a few seconds and look at her hands like oh no I let go, then fall...its so cute. And the laundry basket thing is so funny, just a couple days ago Bill was doing that to Laney!

We might definetly have to do one of those Holiday ideas this year and hopefully next year will won't have the problem b/c we will be closer!!! I need to quit getting my hopes up though. Uggg...and the thought of getting the house ready to sell so soon is super scary.

That is great that the hours are so good for you guys. How nice to always know when he is coming and going, and to be able to have supper together now. Did it seem odd like you thought it would? Laney had a Daddys girl day this morning..it was so cute. Usually she is just clingy to me when she is in a mood, but she was crawling right underneath him and pulling herself up to him and whining to be picked up and as soon as he would put her down she would cry. It was so funny to watch her do to someone else. Made it hard for him to leave today, I told just wait until she can talk and beg you not to go while she holds your leg!

That is such a big girl meal! Does she do good with the meat now? I'm going to try some soon. I keep saying that, but I think once she 8 months I really will. Laney had finger food for breakfast, bananas and pancakes, except she doesn't pick up it up and eat. She picks it up and squishes it then opens her mouth for me to put it in. She just hasn't mastered the finger thumb pick up yet. She is getting alot better with the sippy cup, she has a handled one with a soft top. The only thing she has trouble with is tipping it. So she gets it to her mouth and sucks air. So I just put her on my lap and recline her b/c if I touch the cup she lets go and wants me to do it. Silly girl, still won't hold her bottle though, whats with these girls :) I've seen those potatoes before, that would be an easy finger food, they are tasty too!

I'm very excited for the weekend to get here, well thursday too, the new greys anatomy..but on Friday we are going up to the cities to spend the night. Since bill has to stay in hotels so much he gets so many points and he has lots so we are going to go the mall of america (mostly window shopping unfortunately) and stay the night and take laney swimming. Then Saturday we are going to a friends house who lives there and stay, their son is six months older than laney, it will be so fun...then sunday we are stopping at bills grandparents house who live up there. Busy busy....but it is my weekend to make up for when bill left to go farming! But I suppose, this is the second nap I haven't gotten much done during so I better quit babbling. Hope you and bekah are having a good day!!

Yeah, he came home early, now I have my computer back :) And of course yeah he is home!! They have kept him busy this week, but he has been home at night, mostly he got home at like 3 am....

That sounds like a perfect little Christmas. I would LOVE that! Makes part of me wish we weren't close enough to drive back so often. We usually have like 4-5 Christmas' to cram into a two or three day trip. It is SO awful, but there is no way I'm putting Laney through that, we will have to take turns or just skip something, which is hard when everyone is in a thirty mile area. The really crappy part is how I so badly want to go to our own church for christmas and have christmas morning at our house, just us. Hard to do when your supposed to be somewhere else christmas eve.

I just can't get over your guys scooter idea, that is so smart! I would love cruising around on one those.

Funny you mention the pies, I have never made one, but I was just telling Bill how I was going to try and make apple pie this year to have with our homeade ice cream! Hope they turn out! Wouldn't be fun to be able to do that together!

So how are things going with the new job? You liking the new hours so far? Anything new with Bekah these days? Bill taught Laney the whole blowing spit noise so she does that constantly now...nice huh?

Bill had an interesting phone call the other day. He has a possible job offer in the future. It would be so nice, same pay but moving back to south dakota. Still a little over an hour from our hometowns (hopefully still far enough to keep the MIL away :) But taxes are so much less there that it would be like getting a raise. Plus I have a friend with a daughter laneys age there. It would be really nice, but I'm not going to get excited yet b/c obviously these things keep changing. But this is a whole different deal, a different company is pursuing him.

It is so chilly here this morning, I am just freezing, had to put laney is sweats! But I suppose I better do something, she will be up soon. Have a good one!

LOL...Yeah sometimes it's amazing to realize I'm not the only one going through this type of situation or has ever been through this type of situation. My boyfriend and I are in no hurry to get married...yes we've put ourself in a situation where maybe we should be married but he is still married too...but he hasn't even seen his wife's face in nearly 3 years..she lives way to far away from us. We love each other dearly and know that there is noone else but why worry about that peice of paper right now. So we are just gonna wait. I think we both want a break from our current marriages before jumping into another. That's kinda funny to say when we are together like a married couple and plan on staying that way but just don't want the legal hassle.

yeah they are so cute at this age, but they need a super mom behind them hehe.. Dina's fav. game is picking anything and drop it so i keep picking and picking ..
I started Dina on meats, eggs, and cheese, but not big quantities.
how is your pregnancy going? hope everything is going well with you. yesterday I went for a check up, and the doctor tolld me that my due date would be April 21. well, at first she said Oct, 21, I screamed saying WHAT??? then she said, no no April, I was about to faint, I would be like rabbits having babies every 3 months lollllllllll

Yeah, I really wanted to breastfeed Luukas but it just didn't work out. My milk never really came in. I think the biggest mistake I made was to start pumping 10 hours after he was born. I should've started right when they brought me the pump. I know better this time! I pumped the whole 3 weeks he was in the NICU and then I pumped for a few days when he came home. He was already being given Formula by that point too. My hubby fought me about giving up, but I couldn't do pump for an hour, feed him for an hour, and then sleep for 30 minutes. It just didn't work. The only way I'm going to do it this time is if I can feed them both at the same time!

So you taught everyone how to do that on EBay, huh??!! LOL! Yep, it is one of those twin nursing pillows. I'm totally hoping to co-feed them!!! As far as names....I think I should get to choose them after all I'm going through!!! I don't care what hubby says!! LOL!

This week did fly by. Too bad I have to wait until Friday for it to be 23 weeks....but I'll get there!! That's funny about Noah!! The twins are kicking me like nuts too!!

Thanks! That's all I can do is be lighthearted about everything. In the end...I know everything is going to be just fine too so that helps! Just wish 28 weeks would hurry up and get here!! Being a mom makes us stronger and forces us to get through times like this!! Also, I've been trying to tell myself that I have a job....my job is to cook these babies and the more anxious I am the less time I'm giving them to cook. How are you? Find any more good deals on stuff? I was bidding on a nursing pillow yesterday and someone got it in the last 10 seconds. Have a great day!!

Good Morning! Well I am glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks those things about the good ole MIL are just a touch on the crazy side :) And you are right about getting her feelings hurt, you feel so bad if you say anything she already apologizes constantly, so then she continually apologizes and says I'm sorry I just don't do anything right....uggghhh, but I suppose I better get used to it, I'm in it for the long haul and shes a part of it!

I should bring the camera next time, I still need to get a good teeth picture too.

Thats to bad its to far for people to travel for Christmas. But I gotta tell ya, I'm a little jealous :) You get to do your own traditions and do things just how you want. We are expected to be so many places, it gets to the point where its not even fun. We have to do something different now that Laney is here. Plus I really want to be at our own house on Christmas morning and I really want to go to our own church, we have a lot to work out when it comes to Christmas plans!

How fun to get a scooter!!! That is so cool, that will save a TON of gas money. So will Kevin pretty much use that? I am assuming you don't want two babies on the scooter with you :)

I'm looking forward to Holidays this year too! I was lazy and didn't even decorate last year, I can't wait to see Laneys face when she sees all the lights and trees and such. We are going to the pumpkin patch sometime too! I was thinking of going when my Grandma comes, but I'm not sure yet. Can't wait to see pictures of the little girls by all the pumpkins!

Gotta go, Laney is getting mad at playing alone. Hope Kevins first day is going good! Hey, now you get to make big suppers instead of lunches :) No more tuna suppers for you!
