My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

Yeah 'Shane' the guy that was killed actually has 2 daughters and I think they were about 7 & 3 when he died which was 12 years ago. That was very sad but before I got with my X so I never knew him. I wish I was having a girl we had a name ready for her, LOL...I guess we will just have to try again one day and hope for a girl.

You got that right. Now it's on to do poorly in school. I've banned the TV until she can get her grades back up and her time management under control. TV is too much of a distraction. She's normally a straight A student but she's been bringing home C's and D's!!! I know middle school is an adjustment but this is not good!

Hey! good to hear from u. And yeah, it was a very busy week for me too. Yesss I weaned her, and no, I didn't find the right formula, she eats everything now, so I only give her the formula when she goes to sleep and I mix it with cerelac, it worked, although she has those red checkes because of the allergy, but I noticed that she os not gaining wieght since I got preg... I donno. How is Bekah? did she start using the walker? Dina started the walker when she was 6 months. and now she only stands up and sit down and she is doing that like 20 time per min LOL .. cheers

You should be tired! Hope you got caught up. I'm much better today, Laney got up about 7, which is normal for her lately. Then we had ECFE....she wasn't even the bully today :) She usually tries to pull hair and pull her self up on other kids, but she played nice and actually kind of played it was so cute. They have a little playhouse and her and another girl crawled around it and in it and laughed at each other.

Glad to here your back is still doing good, you keep getting plenty of rest and relaxing so it stays that way:)

I guess I didn't realize Bekahs bday was so close to Christmas, might be nice family wise....does alot of your family come your direction for Christmas? Oh yes, the cake...isn't that the highlight of every first birthday! I'm not sure what we will do yet, we thought about renting the poolside at a hotel or something. Our home is to small, plus my parents are divorced so you hate to stick so many different sides into such a small area.

That is crappy they don't have nicer nursing bras. I guess I didn't do it long enough to get bothered. Have you looked at a specialty store, I'm sure they would be spendy though, but it seems like good bras are always spendy. Suppose thats one thing a girl should splurge on!

Okay, so let me apologize in advance for my venting about the mom and mil trip. It was great seeing my mom, she hadn't seen Laney in over a month and the mil had was her a few weeks ago. Yet everytime my Mom had her and she would start to fuss a little, Terry (my MIL) would come and take her away. In fact, she would come take her away quite often. Laney likes to play on the floor with her toys and crawl around, well Terry likes to constantly be touching her and "helping" her...AHHHHH... it makes me so crazy, just leave her alone once in a while, she gets crabby when she people are always trying to hold her. She can stand by herself, just let her...then she says well I don't want her to hit her head....like we want her to!?!?!? Even if it was Bill who had her and she was fussing, Terry would try to take her away, like her own dad can't handle her being crabby. I asked my Mom to change her diaper (terry wipes back to front and it bothers me so I never let her b/c i don't want to tell her she does it wrong) and she grabbed her from my mom and changed her, first she tried doing it with the diaper backwards, then later she leaked all over the floor b/c she didn't get it tight enough. So then my Mom tells me all the things she told her on the ride. OH MY GOODNESS..this woman is crazy! I may have told you some of this already..sorry....She went and bought a necklace with Laneys birthstone..hello, thats what a MOM does! She has a journal she writes in EVERYDAY for laney that she is going to give her when she graduates high school...can you say overwhelming, and what could she possibly be writing, again this is something a MOM would do and maybe only once a week or month. Then she went on and on about how she wants us to move so she can see laney every day, and how she wants laney to have special grandma time when she comes back so she can be alone with her...whats wrong with us??!!? Oh and how she can't wait to have her stay for a few nights a month...yeah right, My mom told her that one wasn't going to happen. Oh and this is the best one, she really wants to be able to go to church with us every sunday so laney can "come running to grandma when she sees her and sit with them at church".....heres the kicker, they are catholic and we are lutheran!!!! She would change religions just to go to church where we do!!!!!!! I hope I don't sound really horrible b/c she is just being loving and nice, but it is So over the top that I can't handle it. So sorry I just rambled FOREVER about that, but I really feel much better. I can't whine to much about it to Bill b/c its his Mom, me and my mom had a good vent session though....she doesn't want to come with her anymore and she has already called and asked her when they can come again. Okay, I really need to quit:)

I 'think' she has a name card on it. Otherwise, it's a rental so maybe it would get returned to the store. I'll have to call when they open. I hope the bus driver just kept it with her and brought it back this morning!
