My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

Ok well I really should be packing but I can't seem to get myself motivated!!!!!!

$100 a massage goodness me!!!!!! But then I suppose it's the same here, it's $60 an hour but I know we have money differences and I think it adds to be around the same cost, lol. Mick keeps telling me to go and have a massage but I just can't seem to justify spending that much on an hour!!!!! Mind you when I was doing it from home I had clients coming out of my ears some days!!!! But glad to hear your back is better now anyway.

Well I did the tough love thing again last night, it only took her 10-15mins to fall asleep and I had to wake her this morning!!!!!!! We got up just after 8am.

Jumperoos are well worth the money!!!! Ally still loves hers!!!!!

How funny about Bekah and her books!!!!!! I love that she does it just to make mess!!!! hahahahahahahaha, Ally does the same but not with books she pulls cd's and dvd's out!!!!!!

Oh I got my stitch out today, the dentist said that the reason it still hurts is because it's healing slowly because it had an infection when he pulled it, but it will get there, lol.

I hope you have a great afternoon at Kevin's brothers house!!!! Must be nice to get out and interact with other adults, lol.

Well I really better go and get packing while little Miss is down for her morning nap.

LOL...I'm hoping this one stays laid back. It will be a nice change from my first one. I like the name you picked out also. Both are Biblical names which is pretty cool too. I think the main reason I'm not set on Benjamin yet is because every time I talk about this baby I can't seem to call him by that name. So I'm thinking that is just a sign or something telling me that name just isn't the right one. Time will tell, I had such a hard time coming up with anything I liked for a boy. The name for my older son was decided way before he was ever thought of by my X's brother's daughter. LOL And since I couldn't come up with anything else it worked great for me. His is Cody Shane. The name came from this little girl that told her daddy one day if he ever had a boy she wanted him to name him Cody Shane then a short time later her daddy was killed in a car accident which was my X's brother so that name we thought we should carry on just for the memory of a little girl telling her daddy to name his boy that if he ever had a boy then tragedy struck. My boyfriend likes the name John Wayne and I'm just like...NO WAY!!!! I do like Jessie James but I think he was an outlaw. I think I will make a list of a few I like and name him when I see his face. So far the personality matches all the Benjamin's in my family though.

We have picked Benjamin Brice but we aren't set on it for sure yet. He likes it and I like it but I'm not sure it's something I like permanently. My daddy's name was Ben and my grandpa and greatgrandpa were Benjamin and they all had pretty laid back personalities and so far in this pregnancy this boy seems to be very laid back compared to my 7 year old son. He was wild from the moment I could feel him and still is. This one just seems to move around nonchalantly for now...very early though he may change. You are very lucky to have a girl and now a boy coming...I wanted a girl this time but that's ok atleast I already know what to do with a boy and I have alot of my son's stuff still. Have you guys picked out a name yet?

Man, I could go for a sleep in, I don't know what my deal is but I am dog tired today. I suppose I could go nap, but Bill has to get super early for a flight tomorrow so if I stay up I bet I can go to bed early with him. Oh and of course I can't quit thinking that the tiredness could have something to do with a possible pregnancy...uggg..I tell ya, my mind is making me crazy!

Excellent work on the house! I'm sure its much better when your back isn't aching. Is it still good? I hope that little boy stays in good positions for ya! I can't believe its six months, that is crazy! Our little girls will be one so soon! Do you have birthday plans for Bekah yet? That is one crappy part about winter birthday, it would be so nice to just have it in a park somewhere. Oh well.

That would be neat to have a bigger age gap and share the pregnancy with bekah and noah. Plus it will give you a break! You will have breastfed for SO long after noah, you are a trooper!

I have never looked at half.com, I might have to try that. I looked on ebay there was one cheap one but shipping made it the same price as a new one.

Ice cream was awesome, need to quit making it so often, we can't stay out of it.

Oh and you mentioning having christmas presents bought already!! Holy crap, that is good. I wish I could get started already. Its so hard for me to get in that mode. I like to find the perfect gift and it never happens. So I should start early, last year I did alot of online shopping, might have to again...anywho better get going. Hope you had a relaxing, fun weekend!

I think I will, I just don't know what yet!!! On my way to get paint yesterday I stopped by Target to make sure the color I picked out went with the DwellStudio crib set. It does. So I know I can always go back to that. It has a basic geometric tree design which would be REALLY easy to do. I could then add lots of little designs on branches or leaves floating around the room or???? I'm really not set yet. =) I want something that's not going to be too baby. I think my husband will shoot me if I re-do another room any time soon. I haven't even finished Alexis's yet! Poor thing. She told me she was jealous of the pink last night. She 'hates' purple that her room is. UGH! Do I have it in me to paint one more room??? We'll have to see how much energy my guilt will give me.

yeah fully recovered now, out and about lots now too at music groups, baby yoga, swimming and even mummy and baby cinema, which is great when u can hear the film over the crying! do u do much with Rebekah? it'll be hard getting out and about like you're used to once Noah's comes along won't it (love his name by the way)but you've got your new wheels now so your fully prepared for the new addition to the family! loved Rebekah's pics she looked so cute! we're hopinjg to get some done of George but gonna wait till he can sit up and laugh! hope your keeping well, u look and sound as thouh you're happy i'm guessing you are :)

Thanks! It was a lot of work but I kept telling myself "just finish it". I'm terrible at finishing up the last details.

I have all these great idea (well I think they're great LOL) and then I just get 90% through, if I'm lucky and don't finsih. So I'm trying to get better. I'm glad you like it. And YES, I started painting my girl's room last night!!

Well Ally has been really hard to get down the past couple nights (except last night) and she's been getting up at 6-630am, so I went back to the tough love thing last night, she was asleep within half an hour and didn't get up until 8am!!!!!!! Well I'll be doing that again tonight, lol.

Well tomorrow is the night we fly out!!!!! I'm so excited and nervous to, hehehehehehe. My damn mouth is still giving me pain, I get my stitch taken out tomorrow morning, so hopefully it all looks good, lol.

What have you been up to this weekend?????
I've just finished running around doing my Dad and brothers shopping and getting things done for them before I leave.

Oh I have to ask if you could please once again pray for my Mum and Dad, they haven't spoken to each other for 4 months!!!!!!! It's really starting to effect my Dad, he's getting so so skinny and I can't help but to worry myself silly. I just want them to work things out and be happy with one another.

I put Ally in her walker yesterday on the kitchen floor and you should have seen her go!!!!!!! She's super fast and so so cute!!!!!

I still haven't really packed!!!!! Oh and Mick starts night shifty tonight so I will have to pack quietly tomorrow, hehehehehehehe, I just know I'll forget something, lol.

I should still be able to message you as Nana has a computer up there.

Anyways I'll write before I go tomorrow.
