My name is Amanda and I have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah Nichole. She's going to be a big sister this January! I have PCOS and it took us 6 years to conceive Bekah so it was quite a shock to conceive our second baby in only one month of trying...and even while I was still nursing! We found out it's a boy and will be naming him Noah Jacob! God has blessed us so much and we are very grateful for the chance to raise at least two beautiful babies. My husband and I firmly believe in God's timing and now that we have hindsight we are so glad we did not have Rebekah sooner than we did. Not only did it allow our relationship to mature, it also gave us plenty of time to finish school, remodel our house, and find a wonderful church home. Not to mention the perfect timing of family moving close to us! It sure seems like there was a plan in action...even though we had no clue at the time.

I absolutely love this site. I have met so many wonderful moms and moms-to-be and I cherish the relationships I have made. It's fantastic to have an outlet for adult conversation while I'm home without my husband all day! If you send me a message I can guarantee you I will happily reply! I always look forward to making new friends!

How funny that Kevin's holding out for a boy!!!!!! So funny!!!! Michael would really love another girl, you would think seeing though we're only having 2 that he would want a son, not that he wouldn't be happy with either, I think it's just because he's so used to Ally and all the girly stuff, hehehehe.

LMAO about Bekah pulling herself up on the gate and crying!!!! She really loves her Mummy doesn't she!!! So beautiful!!!! Ally's becoming a pro at pulling herself up!!!! Oh and she had her check up yesterday..... she weighs 19.6 pounds her head has grown to but she's still the same length 28.3 inches.

Your adult time at Kevin's brother's house sounded like fun!!!! I'm off having adult time with my brother on Saturday night, so I'm really excited as it will be the first night I've had out since having Ally, well we have been out for dinner before but we took Ally with us.

Oh and no we don't celebrate Halloween, we occasionally get a knock on the door with little kids dressed up but yeah it's more an American thing, although it does sound like stacks of fun!!!!

How great that the baby has been going nuts inside that belly, very reassuring I can imagine!!!!! Oh I miss that feeling!!!!! Mind you my lovely AF showed up a week early!!!! I mean who does she think she is, hahahahahaha.

Oh and I will be sending you another email tonight, you will not believe what I have to tell you!!!!!!

Bekah will look so cute ion shoes!!!!! I put shoes on Ally all the time, they're just so adorable!!!! She already has 5 pairs of shoes!!!!!

Oh I forgot to say, yesterday when Ally was having her check up at the health center the nurse told me that I just have to make Ally eat lumpier foods, lol, she said I should start giving her sandwiches and stuff, so today I gave her a cheese and Vegemite sandwich and she loved it!!!!! Then I gave her some roasted pumpkin, lets just say that a shower was needed once she had finished, hehehehehe.

So is tomorrow the big day or is it the next day???? I always get confused with our days, lol.

Anyway I will write your email after dinner, be prepared to get angry!!! lol.

Yeah, I keep thinking how great it is to feel bub but I know that come summer when I've got feet in my ribs I'll be groaning "Come on out now!"

OOhh!! That's so cool, I wasn't going to have another scan but I've changed my mind.. I wan to see bub again... And I love the names you chose! Abigail is my middle name. I changed it earlier this year, I kept getting scripture about God giving me a new name, so I went a head and made my middle name Abigail... I love it.. and Noah is such a cute boy's name, I love that.

It's going good, no much nausea anymore, just a sore back. I actually feel like I did in trimester one energy-wise... I had people saying "Oh you'll feel great in Tri 2.. heaps of energy!!" Lol!! Hasn't happened yet!!

I'm so glad you mentioned that third trimester brick wall thing.. it's been so long that I can't remember but now I htink about it... I was exhuasted!! We will be looking at baby furniture this week, and then once we've found waht we want I'll start scouting around yard sales to find cheaper prices.. I love a bargain!!

Hey Amanda, seeing your message lifted me, the fact that you laughed made me laugh too!

I'm just freaked out over how hungry I get... I ate so much yesterday and 2 hours after dinner my stomach was grumbling like a thunderstorm.... I feel like a freak of nature!!

On the upside the baby is moving every hour, and kicking me very hard.... a lot more active than my first!

How are things with you? Much moving etc?

Yeah, it's definitely fun to shop for baby girl stuff. It's all so cute. We have our baby shower scheduled for Nov 15th, that sucks about your last shower! I don't really know that many people in Joplin so mine will probably be mostly his famiy as the majority of mine live too far away. What if you did a little party after the baby is born so people can meet him/her? Gifts could be optional or it could be themed like a book party and everyone could bring baby a book or something. That way people won't have to spend a ton of money, but that way you can still celebrate. Can't wait to hear what you find out tomorrow! Good luck-Jessica

You have such an exciting week.....found out the gender SO soon and hopefully good news about the job later this week. You two will have to do some celebrating!

So I don't know what the deal is with her rash, but it is definetly worse and not better. I called her doctor to see, so I'm just waiting for the call back. Hope its soon, if I have to go to town and get something different I want to do it early. I wonder how they get that?!?!

Laney tried her whole wheat pasta last night, I just let her gum it up and she did really good, seemed to like it. I tried it and thought it was pretty awful, but as long as she likes it. I was going to grind it up with veggies but I got lazy and she usually does good gumming.

Well, gonna keep this one short, seems like laundry and cleaning are way behind..talk to you later!

That sale sounds SO fun, I wish we had something like that! So is tomorrow the big day or is it Wednesday? I am so excited to find out....takes me back :)

So Laney sleeping in really threw her day off, she was sort of cranky for a lot of the day, mostly b/c her naps were off and she just didn't want to take them, (what else is new). She is so naughty when it comes to naps, I let her scream and I mean scream for fifteen minutes thinking she would give in b/c she was so tired and she did not let down once had her self worked up to coughing, ugh it was awful. Plus I dont know if I told you or not but she has this fungal rash on her bottom and I got a cream for her from the doc, last week but it is worse not better, so that is probably itchy or bugging her too.

So how did Kevin's interview go? Did you hear anything yet....I sure hope you get some good news! We still haven't heard anything on Bills situation, go figure.

Well, I suppose better go get some more of that quality time I have been craving :) Have a good one!
