My name is Amanda and I gave birth to Rebekah Nichole on December 28, 2007. I followed my pregnancy with this site but never became a V.I.P. member. I wish I had because I feel like I know many of you that were due around my due date. I enjoyed reading your pages and comments throughout my pregnancy and cried each time I discovered one of you had given birth. Most of the time I felt like you were the only people who understood everything I was feeling, especially those last few weeks when time seemed to stand still and the waiting carried on forever. Rebekah's birth story is on her own page along with several of my favorite pictures. I would love for you to check it out!

God has blessed us so much and I am very excited to share that I am expecting another baby on January 21, 2009! It will be much more fun to follow along with everyone now that I'm officially a member. I really hope to make some new friendships as I share my little bundles of joy with all of you. I just LOVE watching my husband play with his baby girl! She smiles at his beard and enjoys hearing his voice when he talks specifically to her. It melts my heart to see how much he loves her. I am so thankful to God for giving him these joyful moments and I hope and pray my husband will have many more babies to love!

Wow yes you're right this message could possibly be the longest you have written, lol, but I love it!!!!!!

Well Ally slept really well last night, she's fighting her sleep tonight though, I'm now making sure that I just let her cry for a while and when I go in I don't pick her up, I just put her paci in pat her on the back for a little bit then leave, only had to do it 3 times last night it was great, tonight on the other hand, it's already been about 40 mins and she's just gone quiet now (knock on wood). I figure that if I don't pick her up or give her to much attention then she will just realize that crying is pretty pointless at bed time, lol.

I haven't really had to baby proof the house to much, I've just had to move the cats food and water bowels, everything else seems to be ok FOR NOW!!!!! I'm sure that once she's walking I will have to change a few things around, lol, and I will just have to hope for the best in regards to our plasma, hehehhehehe.

Crap I spoke to soon, she's crying again, lol, I really have to try and be a tougher Mummy though otherwise I will never get a proper sleep again!!!!

The diet and exercise have been going well, although I find that some days I either don't have time to go for a walk or the weather doesn't allow me to!!!!! But otherwise I think I'm doing fairly well, better than any other diet I've done.

Hopefully the bean will start poking you soon!!!! lol, I'm not to sure when Ally started poking me but at around 15 weeks I started to feel her, you know like gas bubbles inside, so cute!!!!!!

Well I have no idea what is going on with Ally's tooth because she won't let me put my finger on her gums at the moment, I think they must be sore, poor little thing!!!!

My darn hemorrhoid is back!!!!!!! I have never had one until I gave birth and boy does it hurt!!!!!

My Mum bought Ally a little swim suite for when we go up to see her and my Nana, she sent me a photo, it's so cute!!!!! I am so looking forward to going only 2 more months to wait!!!!!!

So my brother called me today he's super stressed out.......he started dating this girl, who he's known since he was about 7 years old and she is a super sweet girl, anyway he broke it off with her last week because he said it just didn't feel right which is fair enough.......anyway she sent him a text saying she is 5 days late.....he called me in an absolute panic, but how many time do I have to repeat myself to him, he never wears protection so what does he expect??????? so he's not sure if she's telling the truth or not, I tried to explain that he just broke up with her so she's probably a little stressed out and that's what has probably made her late. But she's going to the Drs on Tuesday, so I suppose we will all know by then......she's not the sort of girl to lye about something like this, she is a very sweet person, I kind of wish he was still with her, lol, she's probably the nicest he's been with. He just looks for all the wrong things in girls, but then he is very immature to.

Ok I'll calm the venting down, hehehhehehehe.

How's your weekend been so far???

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you about babyroo, Ally loved it!!!! And it must have really worn her out because about 2 seconds after we had left I turned around to look at her in her car seat and she was sound asleep, lol. It goes for 45mins for the first 10 mins it's free play, they have heaps of equipment set up, stuff to help their development, like tunnels, and things they need to crawl over, a trampoline, sea saw, a swing and a whole heap of other things, then it's time for songs and doing different actions and a massage, then more free play, and then we do more singing, we learn a different word every week with picture and work flash cards and a teddy, the word this week was dinosaur, I would prefer words that would be more relevant but oh well, and then the instructor blows bubbles and then we put the babies under a para suite while lifting it up and down while singing more songs. Wow after reading that back I can now see why she was so tired, hehehehehehe.

Anyway I'd better go and have a shower and put my pjs on, lol.

Hey I know you stay busy during the weekend however I thought I'd write a positive messege for a change. We celebrated Jorden, (my 12 year old) birthday today and he had a BLAST! It just warms my heart to know that he appreciates me and loved everything I did to make his party a good one. I was very happy that Jason wasn't a jerk today too, I told him I was proud of how he's been with Jorden lately, he's really been putting forth an effort to become closer with Jorden. My Mom puts up a huge barrier at times and it makes it difficult for them to bond.

On another note, I went to my OB on Friday for him to tell me I"M FAT. Well, he told me that my arms are going numb becuase I need to lose weight. I said "go on a diet while I'm pregnant"? I think this is the straw that broke the camels back with this OB for me. You know I've talked about his beotch of a wife that is the head nurse that is just nasty and told me I wasn't preg 2 times during my pregnancy. Well, as of Monday I'm on a search for a new doc. I will be interviewing them before I decide to switch. I think it will be stressful to start over but I'm really STRESSED out over all the crap I'm dealing with at my doctor's office.
Also I wanted to get a sono at 16 weeks, which will be a week from Tuesday and they told me unless I'm bleeding or somethings wrong, I can't get one until 18 to 20 weeks.
Of coarse I wasn't happy with that! So tell me what you think about it all...

So.. I just ordered it off Amazon lol!! It was only like $9 with shipping which was awesome! It sounds like it works really well so i'm totally going with it! Thank you for the advice :) It's amazing that you both are gonna adopt! 4 kids all together! What a handful lol But I'm sure all those kids will get the love they deserve!

Well it's rainy and gross out today :( And I've been waking up with headaches for the past two days. No fun.. And I'm craving something fried today... yeah... this could be bad..

Thank you :) I guess I'm kind of glad now that I didn't have it so bad. I mean there were a few times I was nauseous, but they passed. And now it's just every time I take my prenatals. So I switched and take them at night before bed. I can't imagine taking care of an almost 7 month old! But can I just say.. how do you get her to sleep 10-12 hours a night??? I'll pay you for that secret! haha..
I wouldn't call you guys crazy. We definitely didn't plan our little miracle, but we're both kinda hoping for a boy. If this ones boy I might stop for now. If it's a girl, we already decided together that we're gonna have another. :) But i really wouldn't want my kids to be more than a couple years apart. My older brother and I are 2 years apart and I think 2 maybe 3 years is the limit for me! Anyway, either way I know we'll both be happy. I just can't wait to find out so i can start buying things! I'll be crossing my fingers for Bekah to have a lil healthy sister!

Noah Jacob is such a cute name :) Unfortunately I didnt really have a choice with the boy name. It took all I had to squeeze in my grandfathers name as his middle name lol. I was actually looking up girl names and i thought Abby was super cute :) I love picking out names..

I actually didnt have it so bad. My doctor said i was "one of those girls".. you know the ones that have it pretty easy as opposed to other women who suffer with ms all the time. I kind of wished I had some ms because I was worried in the beginning.. No symptoms, to me, meant something was wrong. you know? But I've had about 3 u/s already and each time my lil bub shows up (last time he was a bit upset he was woken up and was quite funny kicking and wiggling around). I know how you feel about barely keeping the house clean. I waitress at a very busy restaurant.. so i'm half way to the bedroom when I get home every day lol. I only work 4 days a week tho, so it isn't SO bad... How old is ur daughter? Are you hoping for a boy this time around? She looks adorable in your picture!

My mom was the one that got me hooked on that show, and she told me she could barely watch sometimes because of how bad it gets. Maybe they'll look back on this show and see how bad it's gotten and try to work on it?? That's all we can hope for I guess lol.. Can't wait till the teens next week!

Glad to hear your morning sickness is gone :) Hooray for eating! haha.. I'm doing okay. Oddly more tired now then I was my whole first trimester. But I'll be okay.

I am getting more excited, especially now that I'm starting to show (even if it's just a tiny bit). Well, if it's a boy he's being named after his father and my grandfather so Antonio Benjamin. However, we have yet to agree on girls names! lol He wants Valerie (after his mom) or to name her after me, Jennifer. I like Kaylah or Alexis.. so.. the fighting continues lol. How about you?

Hey you! How are ya these days? Read your comment on the baby borrowers. Holy cow.. I was thinking the SAME thing. Those three boys, and the two sisters (well actually it was just the one who kept having her tantrums) . I couldn't help but wonder if that's really how they acted at home?? There is NO way I would ever... ever let my kid act like those did. I hate saying that because everyone tells me this is my first and you don't know what it's like until you have one, but there were a few kids on there that were so well behaved and had manners! Am i crazy to say that I want to make sure my kid is never that out of control???

Yes you're right your day will come!!!!!!! hahahahahhahaha, I can't leave Ally alone for 2 seconds!!!!! She is very funny though.

We're going to our first class at babyroo today so I'm really looking forward to it, I wonder how Ally will like it.

Oh guess what........Michael called me from work the other day and said that a full time position had opened up at the station he's at, so he doesn't have to move!!!!!! It will be so great having him 5 mins up the road.

Well Ally's sleep is slightly better, I really hope she will just start sleeping through without waking really soon!!!!!! Last night she woke twice, on the 2nd time it took me out 20 mins to settle her back down. My Uncle bought me over a rocking chair and rocking foot stool last night, they weren't using it anymore, anyway it works an absolute charm in settling Ally.

Great to hear that your sis-in-law is paying you to put things on ebay, especially when your time is so precious!!!!!

So Ally is now eating yogurt and she loves it!!!!! We're trying to get her used to dairy now, she doesn't seem to have a problem with it which is great.

Well I did the naughty thing the other day and weighed myself in 2 weeks I have lost an incredible 19.8 pounds!!!!!!!!! I thought that maybe my scales were different to the Drs because he's are digital and mine aren't but I was talking to a friend and she said that it doesn't really matter and that if there is a difference it wouldn't be by much, so now I can't wait to go to the Drs and get weighed, only 2 more weeks. Michael said he can really see the difference, I can to especially in my face and my belly has gone down heaps to!!!!!! Well I really hope that when I go to the Drs that there isn't much of a difference because I'll be pretty disappointed if there is.

Anyway enough about me, How are you feeling???? Have you felt the little bean move yet???? They say that you feel them earlier with your 2nd. I started to feel Ally around 15 weeks I think.

Oh the little monkey is awake, normally I would make her sleep longer but we really need to be getting ready for babyroo.

shes my little chunky monkey lol just like mommy! She had her 2 month...she is 11 pounds even and 21 inches long...even! My little even princess hehe...shes actually short! We have been doing really good...shes great...she sleep 7 hours through the night now and I love it!

That is so cool that Bekah is teething already! Time does go by fast huh! How old will she be when the new baby is born?

Before I forget, it's color select studio, I got it for 14.95....it is super easy but literally the only thing you can do is black/white/color photos, no other cool features or anything which sucks, but it was the cheapest way I could find to do pictures like that.

Ok...WHEW...it feels good to sit down. It wasn't nearly as crazy as I thought it was going to be though. They nap way better than Laney so that helped a ton. At point all three were out for about twenty minutes! The eight month old can sure move though, she beat me to the cats water dish twice! Laney loves having kids around, so her day was totally thrown off, she was so excited and observant she didn't want bottles, and of course naps were even shorter and fewer b/c she was SO busy. It was fun to see her be so excited though, especially when hannah was crawling she was just get flailing (not sure how to spell that i guess...some teacher :) It was cute. You will definetly have your hands full in around six months though! Oh and I get to do it again tomorrow! Bill will be home though so he can help, but I was looking forward to a nice day with just the three of us since we are going to be apart for a week. Oh well, its hard to say no to things like that. Plus they are going to come check on our kitties for us while we are gone.

So how are things with your family, your pregnancy? Hows that belly coming along? I sure wish I had someone like you around here, we could have all sorts of play dates! Reminds me of that commercial where the three ladies are sitting enjoy a "play date", then it screens over to three little newborns sleeping in their carseats...that would so be me :) If you can't tell Bill isn't home yet...should be very soon though. So I am going to try to recover my house a little and maybe have a bath with a glass of wine :) Take care!!
