My name is Amanda and I gave birth to Rebekah Nichole on December 28, 2007. I followed my pregnancy with this site but never became a V.I.P. member. I wish I had because I feel like I know many of you that were due around my due date. I enjoyed reading your pages and comments throughout my pregnancy and cried each time I discovered one of you had given birth. Most of the time I felt like you were the only people who understood everything I was feeling, especially those last few weeks when time seemed to stand still and the waiting carried on forever. Rebekah's birth story is on her own page along with several of my favorite pictures. I would love for you to check it out!

God has blessed us so much and I am very excited to share that I am expecting another baby on January 21, 2009! It will be much more fun to follow along with everyone now that I'm officially a member. I really hope to make some new friendships as I share my little bundles of joy with all of you. My sweet husband, Kevin I love him so much!

I just LOVE watching my husband play with his baby girl! She smiles at his beard and enjoys hearing his voice when he talks specifically to her. It melts my heart to see how much he loves her. I am so thankful to God for giving him these joyful moments and I hope and pray my husband will have many more babies to love!

Well surprise surprise Ally slept through the night without a peep, not even for paci!!!!!!! After I finished typing to you last night I put her in her crib belly down (first time she's slept like that) and she must of liked it!!!!! So I will put her that way again tonight and see if I have the same luck, lol. Mind you even though she slept through I didn't, I kept going to check on her, lol.

I can totally understand why you're so tired!!!!! Hopefully the little bean is as good as Bekah and sleeps well, lol.

Well this is going to sound weird but we could see a while spot on Ally's gums for a while which we assumed was a tooth and then all of the sudden it disappeared but in that same spot her gum is very very swollen and it seems to be sore to touch so I'm assuming it will really come through very soon.

Wow the wedding seems to be costing you a lot!!!!! I'm sure the will understand that you cannot afford to get them a gift right now.......in fact I'm sure they wouldn't really expect one since you're spending so much anyway.

I remember when I was dieting years ago, I had some scales and I would be on the twice a day......I ended up making myself very sick because I wasn't eating enough because I was obsessed with loosing weight daily, it got to the satge where I was only eating 3 crackers a day!!!!! Ridiculous I know.......anyway that stupidity only made me gain all the weight back and more!!!! This time I'm just going to play by the rules and as long as I am loosing (even if it's just a little) and not gaining I'll be happy, like Mick says 'it's not going to happen overnight', lol, so true I just have to keep telling myself this, but I have noticed that my clothes aren't quite as snug as before, lol.

I had to drive Mick to work today as I need the car so I can take Ally to her 'weigh in' lol, so we were up at 6am, I got Ally up at 6.30am, she wasn't very impressed, she was so tired that I put her back down at 830. She's also a little grumpy, I think from her shots because she cries when I touch her legs near were they were given. She was chasing the cat around the house today, so funny, she was trying to talk to him and she was blowing raspberries at him, he just kept running away, lol. I took her over to my parents house the other day and I took my eyes off her for 2 seconds and when I looked at her she was licking the dog, hehehehehehe, not very hygienic at all!!!!! not that she cares, lol. How does Bekah get along with your dogs??? or should I say how do the dogs get on with Bekah???

The only reason I got the family photo done was because it was free, we certainly can't afford to buy any at the moment, not at the price they charge anyway, lol. I can't wait to pick it up!!!!

Well I was going to have a morning nap with Ally but it wouldn't be long enough, lol, I have to wake her soon so we can go to her appointment, luckily it's only 5 mins up the road. I really need to go to the post office to and post a parcel to my Mum but the weather is yucky and I don't want to carry Ally around in the cold, the last thing I want is for her to get sick. I might just do it when I pick Mick up that way they can wait in the car. All I wanted during summer was for winter to come and now during winter all I want is for summer to come, lol. Well when we go to visit Mum and Nana it will be very hot so I'm sure I will be glad to get home after a while up there, lol.

Ok well I'm starting to ramble, I'm bored, can you tell???

I'll write more while Ally has her afternoon nap and let you know how much my little porky weighs, lol.

well it's nice to hear some positive things about being induced, you've chered me up a lot as i'm quite an organised person and looking at it like in that way (having Adam with me, having bag and car seat etc everything ready) makes it sound right up my street!

I plan to go with the flow. if it really hurts i'm up for the meds, not against them at all. i wanna enjoy the experience so anything to make it more bearable is fine by me! I'd quite like a little boy and i think Adam would too but i'll be happy if we have a girl, bit cliche but as long as it's healthy thats all i care about! :)

Hello again- How is everyone today? I bet Bekah feels great after that awesome nap! Laney is still a little sick today, low fever and stuffy nose. Poor girl, she has become quite an avid thumb sucker lately and she wants to so bad, but then its hard for her to breathe through her nose. So hard not being able to do much for her.

I will have to try those little food things for her, she would love to be able to grab a hold of something and feed herself, she always want to help feed herself :)

Well, even if it wasn't the baby before, i bet you'll be feeling him or her soon. We have a lot of friends pregnant either for the first time or again now, its crazy how fast it gives a person the bug again. I'm gonna keep holding off though.

So I was thinking about little ways to make money from home, and there was this website about stay at homes taking surveys for money, have you ever heard of anything like that? It just sounds like a load of crap to me, but how nice would that be. I would love to be able to make a little extra money and still be with Laney. Oh well, I suppose I better do something productive during her nap. Talk to you soon!

Well the dieting is going well,I've managed to go for a walk everyday oh except one day I ended up just running out of time. The pills seem to be working well, I'm full just after a small amount but it doesn't help the eating you do just when your bored, not that I have done that but occasionally I will get up and open the cupboard of fridge and just stare at whats in there, lol, but I do contain myself and I don't give in, lol. I don't get weighed for 1 month so I hope that when I do get weighed I will get a nice suprise, lol.

Well Ally is sleeping horribly!!!!!! aaarrrrrggggggg it 8.30pm here and she's screaming her guts out!!!!!!! Poor thing had her shots today but she didn't kick up much of a fuss. We also had our family photo taken.......it looks so nice, I pick it up on the 24th.

I wonder why Bekah doesn't like her exersaucer, Ally loved hers until I sold it on ebay, lol, but she has her jumperoo which she goes absolutely mental in, lol, she jumps around like a crazy person and she talks so loud while she's in it, hehehehe. If your not sure whether Bekah will like a jumperoo ask the store if you can put her in the display one to see how she goes. Ally hasn't been in her bouncer for weeks either, she doesn't llike sitting still anymore, lol.

Funny you should mention those baby snacks, yes we have them I gave Ally her first one yesterday, she loved it but she kept biting big bits off and I was worried about her chocking but she seemed to do pretty good with it.

Ally gets weighed tomorrow SCARY hehehehe I just know she's going to be heavy, lol. The little monkey is lying in my arms sleeping at the moment, I couldn't handle listening to her scream!!!!! It must be her teeth giving her a bit of trouble, poor thing. Any signs of Bekah's teeth????

LMAO about your venting, so funny!!!!! We haven't heard from Mick's mum for a couple weeks, last time she called Mick cut her short because we were busy and he said he would call her back and never did and we haven't heard from her since, yippeee, but I know she's sitting on her hands at the moment trying to wait it out, hoping he will call her, Now that I've said this I'm sure we will get a phone call very soon, lol.

We're tossing up whether or not to get a newer car at the moment......we saw a bargain today, it was a 2005 model so much newer than the one we have but I'm not sure that I really like the idea of another loan if you know what I mean......it's just another bill to pay every month. How's your car holding up???

How's Kevin going at work??? Any new offers???? Mick should be back to full duties by the start of August, so that will give us a little more income which will be great!!!!! And we're just praying that he will be able to stay at the station he's at right now. The price of gas is ridiculous, I have no idea how they can charge so much!!!!

Well I'm not sure if I already told you but I booked my ticket to go and see my Mum and Nana in September. I'm so excited I am a little nervous about how Ally will be on the airplane but I'm sure she'll be fine. How Did Bekah go when you went away??? You did fly didn't you???

Well Mick keeps asking me if I'm nearly done on the compute so I'd better stop my rambling (even though I could continue for quite a while as my tv show doesn't start for another 15 mins) lol, but I'll be nice and let him use it, lol.

No not until Sunday 13th so another 6 days to go! ZZZzzzzzz! i'm not gonna pretend i'm not frustrated as i am. Everyone keeps phoning and texting and it's driving me mad, i said if there is any news we will let them know but they're all obviously excited so i suppose i shouldn't be mean! Adam is desperate to be a dad and i just wanna know if i have a son or daughter! oh come on baby!!

Hello! How are things, I see you are almost to week 12, exciting!!!! Sounds like your fourth was fun and educational :) Ours was pretty good, we had fun. Laney was fast asleep before the fireworks, she was out by 8 as usual. I thought about waking her to see them, but she is like a zombie, I used to try to wake her to eat, ya she wasn't having it. So we sat outside by the lake and watched without her, she never even woke up with all the noise. My father in law ended up not going, he is a farmer and had to get his hay put up before it rained. And my mother in law was suprisingly well behaved, so that was nice. Right from the start I told her that this was probably the only little vacation we will get with Laney this summer so we really wanted to enjoy her and she backed off alot.

She went for a swim in the big pool with her floatie, she cried for a few seconds (it was probably to cold, poor girl), but then she was fine and she just floated content for awhile, so cute in her little suit, I'll have to put some pics up eventually. But now today she has a little runny nose and temp, hope it goes away fast. Just like her dad, a handful when she doesn't feel good :)

Glad Bekah is able to enjoy her peaches again, if I ever make it to the store I am going to try pears or avacados next. Those things you were talking about sound neat, is there an age reccomendation? Your idea about switching formula helped, I had another kind here that we had gotten as a free sample, and when I switch and give her a bottle with that, she drinks almost twice as much! It is so weird though, just wonder why all of sudden she doesn't like her other. They say babies don't crave variety like we do, maybe "they" are wrong :)

Like I haven't rambled long enough, but I have one more thing, bill's company just fired two people so now he has to work even more until they find a way to make the company work how it is or hire someone. GRRRRR,they told him that even his days off he needs to be available if something pops up, what a crock! But I'm sorry, I have been babbling on and on. Let me know how things are going with you....still feeling that little one wiggling? Any new things with Bekah?

It seems we're due on the same day! It'll be the middle of summer here and most likely to be a minimum of 100 degrees... a summer baby.

Our girl is so looking forward to being a big sister! Does your little one know what's going on yet? How old is she now??

OMG~ I might as well burn my house DOWN!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
black mold EVERYWHERE. the only thing left stnading in the bathroom is 3 walls and the CONCRETE foundation!!!!!!! and hes taking the ENTIRE kitchean out tonight too... it started out as a leak and when he went in there to look at it noticed there was mold and the whole floor was rotted out. so WHO KNOWS when I can go home! weeks!!!!!! the insurance guy comes monday to find out if they will cover it or not... Im SO scared they wont cover any of it, what are we going to do then??? And the kids today...*sigh* its like they KNOW when your in a baaaaaaaad mood. lol..... I think there in cahoots with each other. so yeah, I just got done with a complete meltdown, cried my eyes out... FRUSTRATED.
