My name is Renee.. I have 2 boys and I am married. My husband is in the Army and we are stationed at Fort Bragg (unfortuantly lol) I do not like it here even though we have been here for 4 yrs now (I cant wait to leave lol).. My husband came home Oct 27th, he was in Iraq for 15 months.. it was the hardest thing ever!!

Im mainly here to chat and get to know everyone over the months, I do not know anyone where we live and have no friends lol.. but I cant complain to much, Im the mother of 2 wonderful boys, 3 and 7

UPDATE 4/22/08

Well I just found out that my husband is going back to Iraq in November.. So when the baby is a few weeks old he will leave us again.. He just got back October 27th from nearly 1 1/2 years in Iraq and now hes going again for 1 year.. I feel like my whole world is turned up side down and I dont know how I can go through another deployment again. It is the hardest thing ever! 3 children.. 6, 2, and soon to be newborn.. I am so sad!

Hi there thank you for the tips. I don have a similar pillow to the doppy & put Heidi on it earlier but she seems to have a short attention span was fine forabout 20 minutes then started moaning again (she does this alot 20 mins seems about all shes interested in anytinhg). The hand trick was good tho thank you. How is your little one is she in a routine?

Hi Renee,
I use the pacifier, but he is not interested at all, unless he is so tired and I am rocking him to sleep...otherwise he wants food! LOL---Wow...I am sorry to hear about your husband having to go back to Iraq---that stinks! You must have the strength of an ox, as mon-fri without my hubby is real tough for me--- How long is his tour this time? I am glad we have this site to support each other through everything...It has kept my sanity through my very difficult, and sometimes seemingly impossible pregnancy. Hang in there....by the way---the tummy and back massage totally work! I love it! Thanks for the tip!

Your baby is beautiful! congrats! My little Adam has the stomach of a bottomless pit--- he is amazing the way he eats---funny he now feels heavier too, and he is only 3 weeks old! We are following doctors orders and feeding on demand---hopefully he will get on to a schedule at some point!

Yes we tried burping her every once or so with no luck. We tried burping her in different positions and rubbing her back. When I had my first daughter, she was born preemie at 35 weeks and had problems feeding and eating so the NICU nurses taught me and dad all the tricks to feeding and burping, only with my first we had to burp her every quarter to half ounce for the first few weeks of life. So my new baby is really throwing me off lol! I guess I'll just keep trying
