My name is Renee.. I have 2 boys and I am married. My husband is in the Army and we are stationed at Fort Bragg (unfortuantly lol) I do not like it here even though we have been here for 4 yrs now (I cant wait to leave lol).. My husband came home Oct 27th, he was in Iraq for 15 months.. it was the hardest thing ever!!
Im mainly here to chat and get to know everyone over the months, I do not know anyone where we live and have no friends lol.. but I cant complain to much, Im the mother of 2 wonderful boys, 2 and 6
UPDATE 4/22
Well I just found out that my husband is going back to Iraq in November.. So when the baby is a few weeks old he will leave us again.. He just got back October 27th from nearly 1 1/2 years in Iraq and now hes going again for 1 year.. I feel like my whole world is turned up side down and I dont know how I can go through another deployment again. It is the hardest thing ever! 3 children.. 6, 2, and soon to be newborn.. I am so sad!

Hi There! I am only in week 5 right now, I will be 6 weeks prego on Saturday... and just saw on your profile that your husband is getting deployed again... I am so sorry to hear this :( I was married previously to a solider and I know how hard deployments are! There is no strength like that of an Military Wife and Mother :)

No problem. yeah its extremely hard. but i cant imagine how hard it must b on them.
hes left about last week and hes gone until nov/dec. so we will b missing the birth but hopefully home about 2-3 months after the baby is born. so about 7 months. how long is urs gone for?

Hey Renee, how are you doing this week? Did you get your ultrasound? I think moving near family would be a great idea. It's so important to have someone near...even just for emergencies. I hope each day things seem a little brighter for you. Mom's always pull the strength from somewhere and we amaze ourselves. talk to you soon...

I am quite well. Just tired when I do to much, as I'm sure you can relate!!!! Good luck on your U/S, I am jealous, I have to wait until May 19!!! I can imagine you're probably hoping for a girl??? Is your husband going to be able to go with you to find out the sex of your little one??? Wishing you the strength to make it through and the courage to know you can!!!!! That is a great idea. If you are in Florida, with other people it may help the time go by a little faster for you. I CANNOT believe a YEAR!!!! Oh my goodness girl, that is so crazy. Maybe it will be cut short, and he can come home early. I am sending pink baby thoughts your way. : )
