My favorite preggie pic! 34 Weeks with my older sons...

March 19, 2008 - We had our ultrasound today to find out that we are having a boy! All looked well, but the baby looks bigger than he should, I am 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant and she said he looks to be about 21 weeks along! I may have to go back for another ultrasound in a month to check him out again - we'll have to wait to see what my Dr. says!

We found out just before Christmas that we are pregnant. Now that we are out of the "freak out" stage, I am starting to get pretty excited! This is baby #3 for me and baby #1 for him.

Funny story: Allen and I are engaged and were planning a wedding for August 8, 2008 and we just found out that we are due on August 9, 2008! (When I went to ER on 12-30-07 and had an Ultrasound they changed my due date to August 8, 2008!) Wedding plans have come to a screeching halt!! We will be choosing a new wedding date so we will be getting married when the baby is anywhere from 6 months to a year old. Any wedding date suggestions?

I think the health affects from having it done out weigh those of not having it done. I think as little boys arent always clean and such they NEED this procedure. I mean sure now a days it probably isnt NEEDED but I think it looks better, is cleaner in general and a friend of mine said that there was a study that compaired the sex life of men with the procedure with men who had the procedure and apparently the sex life of men with the circ. were better off, but thats just a study (BUT i do want grandchildren some day) LOL....

I am scared on how to take care of my baby boy after the procedure but all my nephews had it done and everyone in my family that is male, apparently my family just finds it appropriate :) and I agree with them on it. That is crazy though, PAYING IN ADVANCE!?!? I believe my doc comes to the hospital and just does the procedure, thats what he told me. I hate all these insurance companies now a days. They cost soooooo much and sometimes they cover sooooo little

Hey i saw your post about the birth control after baby and its funny cause I was seriously just thinking about this. I would like to try an iud cause this will be our third baby and were not sure when we would like to have more children....we do know it wont happen for the next five years though...plus i was on the pill when i got prego with my fist son and on the shot when getting prego with my second so hormones in the drugs dont work well with my body...good luck to you on that.
And i wanted to also say about the circumcision that it would be a good idea for your little man. Its proven that there are les risks on infections for him...on the cleanliness level.

Thanks! It's funny but the hubby is actually the one who came up with it, I was kind of skeptical but everyone seems to like it and I kind of like being able to find out at the same time, last time I found out first cause he was all doped up after his wisdom teeth surgery, although not too much so as he called me at the radiologist and told me he wanted to get the baby a dancing elmo, um ok! But I went and bought some bib/burp clothes that said 'Mommy/Daddy's Girl' on them, and he was there for the 2nd ultrasound when they confirmed it was a girl. I kinda hope he calls me during the appt so he can hear it from the technician at the same time, I am too nosey to want to wait!!
Congrats to you and I hope you get the girl you want and Peyton is an adorable name!

Getting confortable when pregnant is so hard - especially when laying down! It really isn't fair...We need our sleep so much, but when it comes time to lay down, you just can't position yourself well and it even hurts sometimes! I have trouble laying on my side as drs suggest, so I put a pillow behind me and I like a pillow between my legs or in front of me. I feel surrounded by pillows, but it helps me! I feel bad for my husband b/c there isn't so much room for him now, and it'll only get worse! I have a ton of sciatic nerve pain, which hurts SO much in my butt and legs too! It hurts a lot when laying down, and rolling over is a real pain! I hope this helps! I feel like a blimp too. lol Good luck!
