Well had my doctors appointment today.. doctor says i am 100% effaced and 3cm dilated, he did a membrane sweep to see if that would get things going...later in the afternoon my contractions were getting to 2-3 mins apart for 4 hours.. finally went in to labour and delivery at 10:30 pm today and no progress.. still 3 cms..I can't even believe this is happening.. it is taking so long!! I am having so many contractions..I have to take gravol at night to make me sleep or else I throw up all night long..oh i just feel like this is never going to actually happen for me....

Well was in labour and delivery last night.. still only dialted 1 cm and 85% effaced...had a doc appointment today and now I am 2 cm and almost completely effaced..making progress just very slowly...having contractions all day today.. the doc said she thought I would either deliver today or tomorrow.. it's so not looking like that is happening though..ahhhh we will have to see....

Well my baby shower is tomorrow.. I am finally off bed rest and able to do what I want...had to go to the hospital yesterday cause I pulled the ligaments around my uterus.. ahh it hurt so bad..I am 75% effaced and 1 cm Dialated..also lost my plug yesterday...YUK.. so it could be a few days or a few weeks I guess we will have to wait and see... Baby Jaiden is doing great though.. strong heart beat and wiggling around still... can't wait to meet him.

Got back from my doc appointment/ Ultrasound...Baby Jaiden is weighing in at 6 pounds 7 ounces.. my goodness he is a big boy.. I posted a new ultrasound pic.. I am so in love with my little man....I cannot wait to meet him..he is my world! I am moving in two days.. yay I can finally get some stuff done for my little miracle boy...

I had to redo the glucose test today! They lost my results from the first time I did it...ahh I was not impressed.. thats my vent....on a good note baby Jaiden is weighing in at 5 pounds 1 ounce and doc says he is perfect for his dates and that 5 pounds is perfect for 33 weeks just incase anyone is wondering......I love my little man.. he is so worth every minute of everything i am going through right now

Well I just got home from the hospital...i was in there for five days..i wemt into labour on thursday night... they stopped the labour and now i am home on in home care...a nurse comes to my place to check on me and the baby... Jaiden is doing great though..3 pounds 6 ounces...my cervix is funneling and i am 75% effaced but not dialating.. so i think he will hold on a little while longer....

Well I am back from my trip to Florida! Baby enjoyed the trip lots.. he was kicking and bouncing around the whole time...he kept me up all night!! LOL I am getting very big.. people were asking me if I was ready to deliver!!! Ahhh and i still have almost three months to go! LOL oh well...I am just very glad the baby was good and stayed put (I really didn't want to deliver in a far away place.. and pay..seeing as how I live in Canada and don't have to pay anything!!)

Well 26 weeks tomorrow...I had my ultrsasound on friday and I am very happy to say my amniotic fluid is just perfect and my cervix is still long and closed!! I think he gonna hold on for me in there...Yay...My little man is actually measuring a week and a half ahead of his dates but they don't want to change my due date cause at this point I guess babies grow at different rates..I am so glad my little man is doing great...His heart rate was 141 BPM at the ultrasound as well...And yay I actually get to go on my trip to florida in 5 days.. my doc says it's ok!!! I am very excited... New ultrasound pics in my photobook as well!!

Yay..it's Valentines Day..we found out our our appointment yesterday that everything is looking ok... I am going to be having an ultrasound every two week to make sure baby is growing ok and to make sure my amniotic fluid level stays up...cervix is still closed and long but they will be monitoring that closely too...Oh well that means I get to see my baby boy every two weeks...I'm just so relieved I am finally getting the medical attention I need!!

Yay February...24 weeks soon....We are thinking our Baby Boys name will be Jaiden James.....but not completely sure...I bought a summer infant Heartrate monitor and i love it.. i hear him kick with it all the time but if i catch him napping i can hear his heartbeat..so cool.. can't wait till May!!!!

Had my doctors appointment today.. baby's heart rate was about 140 BPM... he is happy and healthy.. i got my ultrasound results back from my 20 week scan and everything is perfect....I love my baby boy so much...my uterus is measuring at 26 weeks though so i dont know what that means.. i might be having a huge baby..lol My contractions have slowed down a lot and my cervix is still completely closed...Yay!!!

Well i was in the hospital till 12 am last night..having regular contractions...they cannot figure out why i am getting them. They send a sample to find out if maybe it is caused by a UTI.. so we will see...the contractions are not dialating my cervix at all so that is a very good thing!!!I need my little boy to hold on in there and at least try and make it to 30 weeks.. im really nervous but trying to relax as best i can!! I have another appointment next week so we will see how it goes.. please keep my little boy in your prayers!!! Thanks. hope everyone is doing well..

It's a BOY!!! yay... my boyfriend and I are so excited. I can't believe how much I love my little boy already...He is very active and the ultrasound showed that he is doing very well and i guess he is a cubby baby! LOL His belly is very round!! All i know is he is so cute!! I can't wait till I get to meet him.

Baby is kicking now (kinda hard sometimes!!!) I definately know that the baby likes going to the movie theatre!! LOL I am so excited for May!!!!!

Yay, I get to have my ultrasound on January 11th..I am so excited. We hope everything is moving along just as it should and hope the baby is doing great. I just really want a healthy baby! Getting bigger by the day now...or so it seems. My baby flutters are becoming closer and closer to kicks.. I can't wait till my baby hauls off and gives me a good boot to the belly!

Hey, I saw your message about weight gain. At 28-30 weeks I had only gained 11 lbs the whole pregnancy and my body is just NOW kicking in and gaining 3lbs+ per week. I dont have a scale at home but in 2 weeks the doc office scale said I went from 161 to 167 and we are only supposed to gain a lb a week right now! I am trying to eat as much as I can because baby is small, so I dont care if I blow up in the last month! Sounds like your little guy will be here soon, so dont worry!

You're going to put on whatever weight mother nature intends you to put on so I would really try not to get to stressed about it!! I've hardly put on any this pregnancy (sorry!) but my last one I put on over 40lb's (i stopped counting!). It did all come off after around 6 weeks, it wasn't as toned as before but it did come off. Try not to worry, you can do that once you're eating lettuce leaves after!! If you have time!!! xXx

I think our bodies are just different and it can be frustrating at times. I put on a ton of weight at 30 weeks and was up about 35 lbs at that time and was worried I was going to go way over the recommended amount. Since then I haven't gained a lb - and actually have lost two (and I haven't changed a thing!). Like you said I was eating healthy so I didn't understand why I put so much on so fast at the begining. Other people have just started putting on 5lbs a week now. I think as long as we continue to eat healthy our body is going to gain what it needs when it needs it. I have given up on looking at what I should be gaining each week because it is just too frustrating. Hope you are feeling great!!! Not too much longer and we will get to see our little boys.

Honey! Sorry you are having a rough time. Pregnancy is HARD. It is MUCH harder when you are on bed rest. MUCH harder. Being in all these discomforts and having to keep you tush in bed is hard. I sometimes feel like my butt is conforming to the bed. Just keep thinking that you don't have much longer! You have come a long way! Keep your head up:)

I agree:) One of my dear friends on this site..Tisha. She lost her sweet baby Rachel at 20 weeks. I just cannot imagine that pain. She is such a strong woman and she just had a baby girl Erin born last month. Miracle happen:)

I am a cancer survivor and I have wanted to be a mom my whole life. I was told about two years ago that I wouldn't be able to. My hubby and I got pregnant on our wedding night---first try. Miracles do happen and I can see that they happened to you as well:)

Hey lovely-
You are moving?? Oh goodness, that is hard to do while on bed rest. We didn't move...but we put in new carpet on the top two floors of our house due to three puppies damaging it! Well..we had to move the top two floors to the basement. That was very hard on my hubby...but my parents helped as well.
We had to leave the house and air it out and now we are back in. The big stuff is back up here...the rest is ALL in the basement and it will be some time to unbox it all...not exactly a job for a guy! I supposed when we are off bed rest we can both unpack and go into labor.
YES...my husband is WONDERFUL. I get so sad hearing about so many insensitive guys on this site. My husband has been so great to me. He has pampered me this whole pregnancy. He even learned how to do everything with my PICC line and feeding tube earlier in the pregnancy and became Mr. Nurse! It's incredible.
We are both very blessed!

I am still on BR till Sunday when I turn 36 weeks. The doc said I could do a little bit more this week, like if I am up for 15 mins, I have to lay down for 45 but I still need to take it really easy for now. I just had my last progesterone shot this afternoon, which was the 19th of this pregnancy so I am SO excited about that! I am on meds for contractions that I can stop taking on Sunday and also I have to hook up to a contraction monitor for an hour twice a day and can stop that then too. I am so looking forward to maybe having a tiny bit of time having a normal pregnancy. My daughter was born at 33 weeks 6 days, so already I am thrilled to be in 35!

Helloooo. I can't get another ultrasound unless I feel something is wrong. I guess I should be happy I don't thik anything is wrong, except that I so want to know what he is up to in there! I was asking my mom is she 'felt' like she knew when she was going to give birth, and she said she didn't remember. I asked because I deel like maybe next week or something might be the time. Now watch I've said that I'll be the last one of us to give birth. lol But I have been getting 4-7 contractions a day, and my boss says it looks like I've dropped a little. I see the doctor rommorow so we'll have to wait and see!

Not too much information! LOL. I TOTALLY understand. We got married in September and we haven't been able to while I have been pregnant as well. WE will be very happy:) Knowing you and I will everything going on we will either induce labor right away or we will be stuck in 42 weeks wondering what the heck happened. Still...sounds like the medical community thinks we have a 3-6 like you said!
I am doing ok. I woke up at 12am very sick again. Despite all my medications. I am just thankful to be able to eat on my own and not have to poke myself everyday with the pump, IV's or have the PICC line.
Before you know it we will be holding our little babies and it will ALL be worth it:)

I was trying to make my way to the back yard the other day to lay down in my lawn chair to get outta the house! I slipped, twisted my foot and fell but caught myself before actually letting my bottom hit hard on the step. All was fine, except for my blasted foot hurting for two days, but it scared me. I have never been what you might call "graceful" but now I have lost all bearings! I am hoping baby comes at 37. I am SOOO ready to have my body back and in normal functioning order. So, are you still on bed rest or have you been "freed"? :)

Bed rest has wooped my tail as well. I am now very sympathetic to the ailments of my 82 year old grandmother! I am officially miserable!!
